I subscribed to an ad on a website (I don't recall its name), which had a link to another site which had some top brand sunglasses advertised at a greatly reduced price. Upon paying for them them through I promptly received back an email stating that my payment of approximately AUD 130.00 was not accepted by their bank. (Unfortunately I've deleted the email correspondence shortly after receiving them). The next day I received another email from them thanking me for my order and payment was actually accepted. I didn't worry about it too much as I thought there may have been a glitch in the system and I thought all's well as I would soon receive the ordered sunglasses. About 4 weeks had passed and still no show of the ordered stuff so decided to drop them an email querying the whereabouts of my order. I first went to look up the website to find a contact address only to be met by an all red warning page from my internet security advising me not to enter the website as it contained malware that may compromise my computer to obtain personal data so I stopped there. I sent of an email to but to this day have not heard back from them. I have since renewed my credit card. Fortunately, I'm not greatly out of pocket and I've put it all down to experience. Only when googleing "rhythmbillpay" have I come across 'Complaints Board' that has persuaded me to add my complaint to everyone else's. Hopefully in some small way this will help others avoid slipping up on crooked websites that are there to rob anyone that they can catch in their web of deceit. I'm a believer in Kama so I recon 'What goes around, eventually, comes around". - Once bitten
