Employees as well as the consumers are yelled at, called names and threaten, this is not only done in private but right there on the collection floor. Managers as well as supervisors are encouraged to make sexual advances to other employees. . . These employees more likely than not aren't part of the management team. They do not have a ethic code of conduct. Most all companies have rules regarding dating and / or having sexual relationship with someone that is not at the same level in the company. Sentry though is quite different they promote the act of sleeping with and / or date someone that you are the superior to. Their justification or shall we say excuse is this is where you spend the most of your time. Long time manager ryan hydorn has quite a history of having sex with these pretty young ladies and i do mean young tht he is the manager of. One would think that he would as well as the company have the common sense to not promote this or at least require the two not to be within the same department or under a different manager. Mangers as well as supervisors have quite a history of sleeping with married persons and some of these people actually have their spouses working there also. Jason hover big man on campus can be quite intimidating, (The little man syndrome) , he holds a level of management of one of the highest, right below the owners and he too partakes in this acts of strong - arm and harrassment. His current wife was once an employee at sentry credit, she was not only an employee but an engaged one at that, mr hover acts as if he is above moral and ethic standards. All of the male owners and managent have obtain their significant others (Wives, girlfriend, or bedbuddies) at sentry and at the time the female was beneath them in position with the company. The only manager that hasnt is andre duran, but then he has crossed over to human resources, megan gray who everyone in the company knows the hidden joke, thats not so hidden. . . Andre has many girlfriends and megan with her major insecurities (Being quite over - weight, more on the homely side and unfortunately not a great personality either) but andre uses this as his control over her too. They have became the talk of the company people feeling sorry for megan because of andre's using her for quote "the things that she pays for and buys for him. If she didnt do these things he has made it clear that he wouldnt be dating, sleeping and in other words "using her. Its hard for a woman these days who is smart, pretty and a hardworker who wants to achieve and be sucessful when there are companies, owners, management and men of this substandard moral and ethic behavior. All of these statements can be verified. It is a very well known not hidden fact. Its is almost shown like something they are proud of. There have been so many woman messed with there only a few become a wife and that is probably even more sad. Ryan, for whatever caveman reason has made it his personal goal to see how many he can "bed" in his career at sentry. Why do and how can the management approve, accept and promote this totally illegal activity. It is not only uncomfortable for the women directly involved but for the other employess both male and female that have to be subjected to this. Isnt this behavior immoral not to mention illegal.

Yea i'd have to agree on this 1. sentry was 1 of the worst jobs i've EVER had. There are a few who can make good $$ out of this, but tell me which 1 of them are legit? please enlighten me. Take the list of this month's top-hitters and bring up their criminal record right next to it then speak please because the innocent ones will be sitting at the bottom.

This is def a tough business not meant for everyone.

i don't want to contribute to the hating on the employees there, but there is DEFINETELY a fix-aid needed on lots of management...but def not limited to just management.

If you want to do well in this company, prepare to strong-arm and break federal laws or spread ur legs or open ur mouth on ur knees because that's the only way! go sentry! lol

great group of people to work for huh
so advice is if you wanna work here

true true true and if you didnt know they had addictions when you hired them...why not fire them when you see them come back with red eyes and reaking of it even though they were in the parking lot doing it. what kind of work ethic is that? i dont care how much money you make my company - you use...you lose!

I CAN TELL YOU PERSONALLY THAT SENTRY CREDIT DOES FOLLOW ALL FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS. ALL EMPLOYEES ARE TRAINED OVER 90 DAYS. IF YOU OWE MONEY ANY CREDITOR HAS THE LEGAL RIGHT TO PURSUE THE BALANCE IN FULL. SENTRY CREDIT DOES NOT PURCHASE DEBTS, AND YES SOME OF THE COMPANIES REPRESENTED CAN AND WILL SUE. WHILE SENTRY BASES THEIR COMPANY ON PATIENCE, PERSISTENCE, AND PROFESSIONALISM THEY DO FALL SHORT. NOT ALL, BUT MANY COLLECTORS WILL BECOME LOUD, RUDE, AND INTIMIDATING. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE ON EVERY LEVEL! THE MOST IDEAL RESPONSE TO THE CALLS...IF IT'S A WRONG # SIMPLY TELL US, IF IT IS YOU - DON'T LIE...YOU OWE A BANK MONEY AND THEY HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE PAID BACK! YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT SAYING YOU WOULD AND IF THE CAR OR OTHER PURCHASE IS NO LONGER IN YOUR POSSESION YOU STILL OWE THE DEBT BEING YOUR CREDITOR PAID IN FULL WHEN YOU ASKED THEM TO DO SO. I work at Sentry Credit. I worked directly for Ryan Hydorn. I am a male, so Ryan helping me get my feet wet in collections had nothing to do with what I could do for him. He is genuinly a good guy. He's not player he just crushes alot. LOL Seriously Sentry Credit is a high energy workplace, they deffinatly don't take any crap and expect you to always be there. What employer don't? As far as the drug allegations go, there are people whom I question theyre sobriety, but thats the way its been everywhere I have worked. I don't believe many (if any) of the co-workers I deal with directly are using at work. The managment is verystrict about FDCPA laws and repromands people who dont follow them. I found this out the hard way, as I was unknowingly violating the laws myself. I was promptly made to sign a formal write-up and state that if it happened again termiation was an extreeme possibility. I have been there over 7 months now, but maybe all of the changes for the better took place right before I was hired. The majority of the people I work with closely would give the shirt off their back to help eachother out! I for one will be trying to climb the ranks to Sentry managment myself.

Ya Mark is a the total package when it comes to being a [censored]. Did Mark suck Randalls dick to be the VP of Randalls company ? Yes he was giving many chances at Sentry. No if you want to talk about ### sleeping their way to the top ask Judith, Marks current "WIFE". She was fired from Sentry because she couldnt do her job there and she collected on easy ### ### there. Now shes some type of manager with MARK. Mark hows ur I wish I was Randall Caddy. Yes we know its a Caddy you didnt need to advertise it on the back of your CAR STUPID. As far as you ex-wife get a ###ing life. Your still in love with Mark and everyone knows it.

Mark worked at Sentry ONCE you ###. I am his ex wife and am fully aware, by the state of Washington and Child Support where this ### works. IF he worked for your company twice expect a notice for Washington state pulling employee records to explain why they never gave me my f(*&^%$& Child Support.

It's sad really! The more successful you are, the more haters emerge trying to tear you down.

No company is perfect, but Sentry strives to be better than the rest. Addiction is real and affects people of every socio-economic demographic. Sentry doesn't just cast a person on the trash heap because they are flawed. We tirelessly work to find the good in a person and bring it out; at company expense. To say Sentry does anything illegal, unethical, or immoral simply flies in the face of the facts. Every management decision is transparent and any employee is always privy to why decisions are made. That's why all of the most successful and professional debt collectors from the region are counted among the 200 Sentry Soldiers. Never in the history of collection agencies has there been a company that so desperately wants to change the stereo-type. The management team and most of the staff is passionate about doing the best job possible and treating everyone (consumer, co-worker, and client) with the utmost of respect. Nothing less is acceptable.

Mark Brooks, you worked at Sentry twice and were given many 2nd chances. Ultimately you were fired because you sexually harassed everyone; women, men, children. You are a creep and you will always be a creep. You shouldn't be allowed within 300 feet of a school, ChiMo. Why don't you rail up another line of meth you pathetic vomitous slug? You might be able to drop a couple more pounds without being mistaken for skeletal remains. There is a special place in hell for people like you.

I am proud to be a Sentry Credit employee. I know that what we do helps people get out of debt. If you notice, all of the people that have something bad to say on this board, used to work here but couldn't cut it. They refused to embrace the philosophy of Patience, Persistence, and Professionalism.

I used to party with John Burke and he could drink you under the table. He smoked more ganja that Snoop Dogg and Bob Marley put togehter. 5 years ago, the owners cared enough about him that they intervened. He went through the humiliation of demotion and rehab and emerged triumphant. Today, he is a better man for it; a better boss, a better husband, and a better father. He cares about his staff and wants the best for them. His wife, was his wife before they started working for Sentry over a decade ago. There is no one more capable than Stacy. As Director of Client Services she constantly juggles the needs of over 20 major clients, 200 collectors, 18 assistant manager, 7 collection managers, 3 training managers, 2 operation managers, a VP and 3 owners. All with her staff of 13. She does this with expert precision and a comprehensive knowledge of the industry, multiple software systems, a variety of file and wire transferring modes, and a savvy inter-social skill-set.. To say she slept her way to the top is not only ludicrous, it reveals the level of your ignorance and idiocy.

For those that are entertaining joining our team and very astutely thought surfing the net would be a good idea to learn about Sentry Credit, please understand that the ramblings here are nothing more than sour grapes from deviants or hopeless underachievers suffering from denial looking for someone else to blame for their failures. Ya Jenn Bergen... Haha shes now a manager here in the Everett Office. When i was there it was everyone snorting COKE in the bathroom. YA your sick or or kid is sick sorry you better have a babysitter for your kid or just them alone till you get home. John Burke the General Manager is a complete ###. He likes to yell at his collectors for stuff that he does himself. His wife Stacey is equal as bad. She slept her way to the top of the food chain there. If you want to find most of these collectors just go to Shotz poolhall or to Tulaip Casino. Its were they all hangout. If your really bored just go find them outside smoking on their breaks . You can miss them they all hangout right outside their office on Grand Ave Across the Street from the CO-OP. The parking lot with the crappy fence just north of their building on California is their personal lot for the collectors if someone feels the need to egg thier cars. The MANAGERS ALL PARK ON THE SOUTH END OF THE BUILDING !

i worked for this company as well a few years ago and it was a ### company. I became close with some of their top collectors and also veterans of Sentry. They leaked a lot of dirt like management sleeping with coworkers and drugs. Lots of their employees have criminal records, in and out of jail *cough* - nick. but everytime he got out of jail - he was rehired..why? because he was their top collector. Sentry has no care for ur life outside of work. youre sick and cant make it to work? show up or else ur on the road to getting fired. This company is extremely money-hungry to the point all their sentry "soldiers" are really slaves. Oh you dont hit your MR every month? Prepare to get fired. Room for growth at a legit company is gaining experience, mentoring, and learning. Growth in this company is to collect money at all costs and/or sleep with ur manager. There were a few honest workers at this company but it was like a needle in a haystack. All of upper management is corrupt. Jenn bergen has a job, how? This piece of ### got promoted when most companies would demote/fire her for acts. Scolds her employees, spends majority of her time putting on makeup on that terribly sun-burned face, then she makes it to operations manager when Vancouver opened up a new office? you gotta be ### me. The veterans of sentry will come on blogs/forums denying all these claims, but isnt it funny that sex, drugs, and broken FDCPA laws are mentioned left to right? i mean yea, all the previous employees must have been completely blind and deaf and made it all up...

sooner or later this company will get shut down. None of the employees have a 401k, stock options, or anything to protect them. Good idea - get out while u can.

DaBillCollecta... Oh please Mr. Jesse Hinds...You worked there since you were 18... You were one of there SUPERSTARS ! Yes you had your problems there but they kissed your ###. You were always late and you pretty much got to do what you wanted to. Why.. because you were one of their top collectors ! The only reason you defend them is because they would take you back in a heartbeat ! Good luck with your new company ...

I USED TO WORK FOR THIS ### OF A COLLECTION AGENCY...THEY DIDNT WORK FOR ME THOUGH THEY SAID THAT THEY HAD INFORMED ME THAT IF I DIDNT MAKE MY COMISSION EVERY MONTH (2 MONTHS IN A ROW)I DIDNT GET TO KEEP IT ...WELL I OF COURSE HAD TO GET MY ALPHA SECTION IN ORDER MY FIRST MONTH AND YES MADE MY COMMISSION OF 1, 000.00 THE 2ND MONTH I WAS THERE.OF BUT BEING THE ### THEY ARE I DIDNT GET IT SO THAT WAS MY LAST DAY I WALKED OUT NO NOTICE...DONT EVER WORK FOR THEM THEY HAVE NO ETHICS OR MORALS...

seriously? come on folks! let this company be... you look for the bad and not for the good. they give you a good paying job in which you have plenty of opportunities to grow as a person and as an employee. they may hire people with problems and people with addictions but never do they hire them knowing that they have these problems... also how many people do you know that are at a job interview and they just brazenly give personal information about their addictions? they dont... with reguards to this sentry credit will hire almost anyone and give them a chance and you might be surprised to find out how many people they try and help and actually make thru their addictions... howver some dont but you cant blame sentry or their management for that!... as far as the management "bedding" anyone they can you cant sit there and say its that bad not to mention im sure its not there intentions to find a spouse while wrking but hey it happens... you can find fualt in any company and or in any person if you look hard enough but why waste your time... live your own life and if you are really that offended or just that board get a hobby! dabillcollecta out!

Everything reported in the original complaint is true I have nothing to add except for the drug abuse and sale of them within the office and in the parking lot.
The comments about Andre and Megan were rude.
He did have a relationship with her, but with no other.
Those two are decent compaired with the others.
The report sounds like "J" who works in the same department as these two.
Jealous because it was not you, jealous because he is above you, jealous because you wont get his job ever.
