This new found diet craze "Sensa" has not only put me in the hospital with a gal bladder attack is it has also effected my heart. My heart is enlarged and is having to be treated with medicatios. I only lost 2 pounds after using religeously for 5 weeks. It seems I cannot find a website to cancel any further charges to my card. Please out any information I can use to "Cancel" Thank you and
Janice Thompkins

I bought the Sensa from an infomercial in Feb 2012 but I didn't start to take the product until May and then quit and restarted it in July. I had anxiety attack-like symptoms like I couldn't breathe and had a tightness in my chest. I had chest pains so bad one day that it felt like someone was standing on my chest. I had severe kidney pains and stomach problems with gas, bloating and diarrhea. I went to the doctor on a couple of occasions and the doctor ordered a chemically induced stress test in August and I ended up in the ER two days before the test for chest pains. I USED to feed my dog my left overs until I almost killed him by feeding him food with the Sensa on it. I don't feed him any people food anymore. I have stopped taking the Sensa and I still have the occasional chest pains and the tightness in my chest and breathing problems and it has been a month since I quit using it. I called the company about a refund and to complain about the side effects and they gave me the run around about it being all natural ingredients and said it was safe and told me to call the company that I purchased it from for my refund. When I called the other company that I bought it from about the refund, I was told to contact Sensa. There is a class action lawsuit against Sensa for misrepresenting its product or something to that effect. Maltodextrin has its own side effects and I encourage you to research them.

I am on my 4th day of using Sensa 3xs a day. I know it's early in the weight loss program but I decided to weigh myself this morning. Well, I gained weight rather then maintaining or loosing anything. Has this happened to anyone else? Please reply Thank You A. Dixon

3 days after starting Sensa I had an episode lasting about 30 min of blurred vision I left eye, white "flash" spots in right eye, numbness/cold fingers and lips and a "medicine like" taste in my mouth. Didn't think it may be linked to this product until I read a few other comments with similar symptoms. It has curbed my appetite.

I've been using sensa for 5 days now. I have the worst stomach pains ever...I've had three children and this seriously feels like labor pains. I've had non stop diarrhea (sounds like I'm urinating when I go) for 30 straight hours. Severe pain and bloating. I developed stomach pain after day 2 of taking this I just didn't associate it with sensa. I'm returning it tomorrow! I should lose weight since I haven't been able to eat for the last two days because I've felt so rotten...DON'T BUY!

I started taking Sensa a week ago and from day one I have had absolutely no energy and all I've wanted to do is sleep, I have a 7 y/o daughter sleeping my day away is not an option. I've been congested from day one but it's winter so I just attributed that to the weather not an allergy. BUT for the past three days I have been in the bathroom non-stop! I'm to the point of tears when I use the bathroom it hurts so bad and because of this specific issue I was unable to do my shift at work ( I work on an ambulance and going to the bathroom 3-4 times an hour is not an option). Aside from that pain in my a$$ (literally) I've had right side pain, now I have an existing gall stone but I have been in more pain than normal this week, not to mention how bloated I've been as well AND I've been waking up with acid reflux and I've NEVER had that before. Now before I decided to try this product I read the website and then I when I got the try it free offer I watched the DVD completely and do not recall a single mention of these in any of the advertisement. I've stopped taking it and hope I'll be able to return to work for my next shift (my shifts are 14 hours long.) As mentioned I work in the medical field I know that NONE of this is normal, I guess it was my own fault for not looking up side effects before ordering. Right now I'm out $2 for the shipping of the first 2 months and will call them to return the rest of the the unused product. And if they give me a hard time will make sure any additional charges will be declined. I hope all these posts of side effects stops further people from trying this product, it can have horrible consequences.

Well I have been using Sensa for a week and the first couple days weren't so bad. However now for the past 3 days I've been in the bathroom about 3 times an hour, it is not pleasant, I am in so much pain I cry when I go to the bathroom (I missed work today because of this problem... should I mention I am a medic on an ambulance). In addition I've also had a stuffy nose since day one. Now it's cold out and thought it was that, NOPE it's not. I have had right side pain for the past 4 days and have been very bloated AND I HAVE NO ENERGY all I want to do is sleep! So I did the research online, I watched the stupid DVD and I did not see anything mentioning a single side effect! As I said I'm in the medical field and I know this is not right! I stopped taking using that Sensa crap and I'm calling them and returning what is left and hope that my symptoms subside before my next work shift (which is 14 hours long.)

I tried Sensa today for the first time. I had 2 soft boiled eggs and sprinkled Sensa on them. About 2 hours later I made the orange drink with the bottled water. Then went on to make a hamburger patty and sprinkled it with Sensa. I then poured a glass of skim milk and drank about 1/3.
I started to feel very light headed, almost like I was getting Vertigo. I began to feel nauseous. I stopped drinking the milk and put it in the fridge. I could hardly walk.
I debated going to the ER. or calling my Doc. I kept going to the computer and reading all I could about side effects from Sensa.
It's hard to say just exactly how I felt, but it was terrible. Within 2 hours, I started to go on the mend. Right now it has been 4 hours since it all started and I'm not 100%, but feeling a lot better..
I will not use the Sensa again. I have to tell you that I don't get sick like that, even with the flu bug. An the food I ate...I had eaten the day before...so I knew they were OK.
I was eating this particular food because I wanted to start a diet. So that is why the second day I decided I would try the Sensa, too.
I had no othe side effects like itching, etc.

I started using Sensa this week and I felt hyper, so excited, and really weird like I used drugs then after a few hours my tongue was numb and my blood pressure went too low, and I felt terrible, pallid.. And had difficulty to breath normally. I don't recommend Sensa to anyone. I called to cancel and also cancelled my credit card, and ordered a new one so they can't charge me anything for the "free trial"

I am so damned mad at myself for trying this product not once, but 3 times! Last time was a 'charm"! ugh
I never seemed to remember to sprinkle each and every time I put food into my mouth, but this time, I told myself, I was going to do it!
ha! I have been SO sick this week...still recovering, from what I thought was a very bad stomach flu. I got sick on a Sunday night, shortly after eating dinner and a snack, all well covered with Sensa.

By midnight, I could not lay on my stomach, had HORRIBLE diarrhea, gas, body aches, nausea, and felt feverish. By Tues, I was feeling better, and never attributing being ill to sensa, I started to sprinkle all my meals that day OMG! Everything returned with a vengeance that night, and I'm still recovering. Sure, I have lost 6 lbs this week, b/c I have never felt so sick! Who the hell can eat? DON'T TAKE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANYTHING UNUSUAL!

THESE SO CALLED 'SENSA COACHES' CAN BE FOUND ON FACEBOOK, AND IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT FEELING ILL THEY WILL TELL YOU TO 'SOLDIER ON'! INCREDIBLE!

THIS STUFF IS DANGEROUS!

Wow. I started looking for Sensa side effects expecting to just find the bloating, gas, and heartburn issues some of you have mentioned (I mean, it is a substance that makes you feel full, you kind of have to expect those are possible), but most of the rest is beyond the pale. I'm sorry for the problems many of you have had, but thank you for posting your stories to warn the rest of us. It's very appreciated.

SENSA probably does work for some people who are not sensitive to the product's ingredients. But I used it for a couple of days and got queasy and diarrhea, I thought it was from a cold that I have been suffering with for about a month now. I took a break from using the SENSA and realized the diarrhea went away. When I started using it again sure enough, I'm back on the toilet! Also feel a little dizzy and light headed. I did read somewhere that there may be adverse symptoms for the first week to month and to stick with it. But I'd rather lose weight eating right and exercising. Losing weight because I am sick to my stomach and don't feel like eating is not the way for me. I suffer from IBS so I could be sensitive to what I eat. Therefore I think I will stop using this product.

I have taken Sensa for 2 months, within that time my appetite INCREASED and I had headaches and memory loss. I am advised to stop this. I am having adverse reaction to Sensa, but in fairness, I am very drug sensitive and I have had side effects from other medications. If it works for others, great. But the way it has effected my memory, I am scared to continue it. I really was hoping it was as good as advertised, but it wasn't for me. Sorry to have to report this, but I feel it may help others. I have not loss weight.

I wish I had seen this site before I purchased Sensa. I've always been very cautious about taking anything to lose weight but decided to give Sensa a try because it seemed harmless, so I thought until today. I've just been sprinkling on the salt side for the past week. Two days ago I had a frightening experience when I woke up and turned over to the other side. All of a sudden the room was spinning. Since then, I've experienced a dizziness, light headiness, and another episode of room spinning when I woke up and turned my head to the other side this morning. Felt dizzy when I got out of bed. Of course, I think I've got a tumor or blood clot. Why else would this be happening? My husband asked me if it could possibly be the Sensa, since that is the only thing I've taken that is out of the ordinary. So, I Googled the side effects of Sensa and read several sites giving some of the side effects I read here. Thanks to FloraD, I hit the nail on the head. She described exactly what my symptoms are, especially with the turn of the head when lying down. WOW! Now I'm thinking, what other nasty side effects will I get from this that will maybe permanently affect my health? I also thank aj351 for the website to report this to the FDA. For the person who commented that this is all made up complaints, it may not have happened to you, but that doesn't mean it won't, or you may just not be aware of it yet. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to log your comments and to this website. Wishing us all good health and success on losing weight in a healthy, natural way.

I brought the Sensa Quench- CostCo edition and it is the worst thing ever! Not only does it work- it contains a high level of caffiene (which caffiene makes me super sick) that was not disclosed in the box or wrapper!

This product did not give any disclosure of the ingredients and gave me a huge migrain and fever at work. To not give the consumer any disclosure of the ingredients and side effects of the product is sheer irresponsibility by the distributor.

Feeling heart palpitations now.

I recently took sensa for the first time the other night and ended up in the ER from fainting. the side effects I experienced were shortness of breath, the worst migraine of my life, dizziness nausea and ferocious vomiting. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone, however if you do try it maybe take a small amount and if you feel funny immediately stop taking it!

I started using Sensa about 2 weeks ago and my blood pressure has increased 30 then 40 and the bottom line went up12 pts. Am returning the product! Also have constant headaches. I am a normally very healthy person; on no medications whatsoever and walk daily. I have NEVER had a headache that was constant.

I started using Sensa and after two uses of it, the end of my nose lost all feeling in it. I stop using it right away and returned my product. It took several weeks for the feeling to return. This can't be a good thing. Just watching what I eat and walking is working quite well.

I decided to use Sensa after my brother had used it for several months. So far it has worked well. I have not had any adverse side effects to the product and have lost 5 pounds in 3 weeks. I did research to make sure the ingredients were not things I was allergic to, so that is probably why I have been fortunate in not experiencing side effects.

After using Sensa for 1 week I suddenly broke out really bad with unusually rashy acne. It was all over my face, neck & chest. I was extremely itchy as well. I stopped breathing and my husband had to call an ambulance. I was admitted to the hospital for 4 days. I would stop breathing and have seizures. I was also becoming anemic. I have never had any of these medical issues. The only thing I have done different is use Sensa. Many tests were done on me besides the typical blood tests. I had an ECG, EEG, MRI, MRA, X rays and Spinal puncture. All of which came back inconclusive. The hospital staff was informed of my use of Sensa & had me stop using it while under care. However, they did not know or see any link to the product. Now that I was back on my feet I decided to try the product again, thinking it was just a coincidence. After two days I broke out again am itchy all over and have a spaced out, disconnected sinking feeling. I fear I may have another seizure. After reading these reviews, they seem to be very similar. I do not know if it is the cause. I am stopping my use and letting others know my experiance because it seems like an awful big coincidence!

My husband has been using Sensa 19 days and has a chronic cough and really bad breath, not sure it is caused from Sensa but seems strange that this has started suddenly. Both of us are using the Sensa and neither one of us have lost any weight. We just were wandering if anyone was having the same problems

I ordered the free trial. It took about a month to get through the mail, but at last it arrived. I sprinkled a little on a sandwich, and minutes later, BOOM! Sprinted to the bathroom and had diarrhea. My lips & tongue felt funny, also. I contacted the company, they refunded the shipping & handling charge and did not want the product back. When will I learn not to give in to vanity?

My mother was using this and I feel it is linked to her death, They said it was a heart attack. She was fine at 6 pm and my sister found her at 6:30 am dead. I am not sure how long she was using this product but I know she was told she was healthy and not heart problems. All the symptoms on here are symptoms of heart attacks in women. I wouldn't take this product. I only wish I could tell my mother this!

I started using Sensa today starting with breakfast. I started having headache and chills all day, along with diarrhea, stomach aches and stomach growling all day. I tried it again at lunch. I got dizzy and now have a bad stomach ache, diarrhea and chest pains. I will discontinue it today. Lucky for me that I only took it for two meals. I agree with the majority of the posts that this product is not safe. Please return it, if you can. I purchased mine from Sam's Club. I called them and was told to return it for a refund, which I will do tomorrow.

I think all "diet" drugs are dangerous. Doing it the old fashioned way is hard, but it can be done. If you want to cancel the charges to your card, report your card stolen and request a new one. The company will try to contact you for the new card information, but you can refuse to give it to them and file a complaint with the Better Bussiness Bureau if they threaten to turn you into a collection agency. Good luck.
