I am very disgusted with this company. They are running some kind of scam. In early December I received a text message from a friend telling me to call a number. When I did so, it was a joke message that went on and on about how to keep an idiot entertained. Very funny. When I got to the end it requested that Sprint customers should press 1. When I did so, I was quickly told that I was being charged for some erroneous service. I was furious. Then the message said if I did not want to subscribe to the service to press 1 or some other number and it would be cancelled. Well I just received my December bill and I was charged $9.99 by this company. They are baiting people into subscribing for some dumb service that their company offers. It is completely amoral. Why are they trying to rip people off? How can you sleep at night? Thankfully Sprint credited me back the charge but they told me to beware because they think this is a monthly subscription fee. Sprint worked with me and said if the charge shows up next month, they will block this company from my account. I also complained on the Send Me Mobile website as well.

Watch out for "free" alerts that start costing you $9.99 per alert! SendMe Alerts is a huge fraud. My good news is that I caught the first one this month and Sprint not only blocked the carrier are all premium text messages services for me, they also refunded my money. What was odd is that as soon as Sprint blocked these scammers, I started getting tons and tons of text messages from SendMe, and even though I typed in STOP to reply, which is what they said I should do, they kept sending more and more messages. I believe this is part of the cramming scam that was revealed in Senate hearings earlier this month.

I was charged as well! I don't even know when it happened. I have Sprint and when I talked to customer service about it they told me it was a third party charge. They send you a text message and if you don't reply they will start charging you. I delete any messages I get from people I don't know. I don't even read them, so they charged me! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. You should too! If you go online, don't file complaint with cell company. You have to file a complaint about the actual SoLow company. When you do a search of their name, you will not find it. I looked up their website and they are under a different name: SendMe Inc., 55 2nd street, San Francisco California. Please file a complaint, this is very unethical.

ATT scammed me for over 2 years, just realized and helpless. Its pathetic that these mobile companies are looking to be next to the Bankers. Did anyone file a complaint against these kind of unethical practices by service providers.

I was also scammed by Sendme Mobile via T-Mobile for 2 years! They refunded me for 2 months. Sendme Mobile sent me a check for another 2 months of charge. They, however, CANCELED the check after I deposited it and I was charged another $10 from my bank because of it. If you search online, you'll see many many people have also been scammed. A class action on this company is the only way they'll stop.

I got jacked for 6 months. At&t did not offer me any refund. There has to be some kind of protection. This is like me walking into someones house and stealing there tv and it's ok because they were not looking. I guess everyone screws everyone and now I have to look at every bill line for line.

I just found I have been being charged for the last three months for this too! Happened the same way. I got a text from my nephew saying you've got to hear this message-call this number- and I did. Everything happened just like you said happened to you. Thank you for posting. I think I'll send a complaint to the attorney general. No telling how much this company has stolen from people.
