Sedgwick Claims Management Services claim was denied

I received a couple of work-related injuries 3 weeks ago, where I have carpal tunnel due to constantly typing at work, and i also have a muscle spasm in my back where I am unable to sit in an upright position. Traci Block, the adjuster, has not even reached out ONCE after my constant calls to her, her supervisor, sedgwick, to my HR team, and constant stream of emails. I found out I was denied today through the physical therapy center i was supposed to go to tomorrow under worker's comp, not through Sedgwick. I will have Sedgwick investigated for purposeful ignorance through my HR, and I will be getting an attorney if needbe.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services not being paid

My father was hurt on his job due to the company's negligence. My father has yet to receive his full pay and constantly has to call for his pay check. My father was taken out of work 4 weeks ago due to his injury and has yet to receive a check. The claims manager is completely unresponsive. We have obtained legal representation and have also reached out to the media to have this investigated.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services claims and customer service

Hello my name is Krishaun Davidson and I am having a very horrible experience with my claim advisor as well as his supervisor. My car was put in the shop on March 28th 2017 due to Sears Auto messing up an oil change. A check was mailed out the second week of April from Sedgwick which I never received due to it being mailed to the wrong address. So I called to speak with my advisor Samuel who stated it was the wrong address and he will then send it to the correct address. A week later I finally received the check went to the dealership only to find out that the check wasn't enough. So I called Sedgwick back to let them know I spoke with the supervisor Robert Wilkinson who told me he would mail out the remainder of the balance. A week went by I did t hear from
Anyone so I called to see what was going on I then spoke with Samuel who had no idea what was going on I explained to him so he then said he will make sure the check was mailed. On May 18th 2017 Samuel called and said I should have the check and gave me the tracking number and informed me to take the rental back. I explained to him that the tracking said the check was sent back to the sender and I couldn't take the rental back until I got my car back. I've called and left voicemails for someone to call me back about the matter 3 days later I finally get a call. I got a call today May 25th 2017 from Robert Wilkison who was very rude. He told me that he was not going to continue to pay for the rental. I asked wha was I supposed to do that I haven't received the check yet. He said I needed to figure it out and go get my car. I told him I needed the check in order to do that he begin to raise his voice and say it's not his problem but he refused to continue to pay $30 for rental and the check im waiting on was only for $87.00. I asked for someone over him and was told it wasn't anyone I could speak with. I asked him again and I did call him an idiot and Robert Wilkison hung up in my face and will not answer the phone. I have been dealing with this matter since March I have been stuck paying insurance for a rental that I did t have to have this long but due to Sedgwick mess up I'm still in a rental. My car is still not fixed and they are refusing to fix it.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services angel dabney/insurance adjuster

I was injured on the job a year ago, and Angel Dabney is the insurance adjuster assigned to my case. She doesn't return phone calls, emails, and voicemails. Somtimes it has taken up to a week. I was also awarded 2/3 of my pay every week, and she is constantly forgetting to issue me a check . She has forgotten Somtimes for 3 weeks then she will Fed ex 2 checks. Then I might get one on time . I have had 3 seperate instances were they have gotten lost (so she says) it's been almost a month since I received a check. I have asked her about direct deposit and no response.I keep receiving a doctor bill for $160 from May 25, 2016 last year . I have submitted the bill several time's and yet it still hasn't been paid (as of April 27, 2017)! I'm afraid it's going to be put on my credit! My electric is about to be shut off for nonpayment, and AGAIN my rent is 19 days late! She is 3 checks behind ( I never received a check from April 26 I guess it's lost again) It will be 4 checks as of May 22nd that she hasn't issued.(counting the one from April 26 that I asked her to cancel and reissue, and I know she is aware of, BUT I believe she is upset because of the overwhelming emails and phone calls. Also I don't understand why I have to wait month's to get reimbursed for my mileage?

Sedgwick Claims Management Services regarding claims rep. for never calling back or acknowledging invoices for case.

Sam Saldivar, is the rep that constantly would not return calls that were extremely important to case. Many messages left were total details needed for case, and he either never bothered to listen to them or disregarded. I gave him 4 invoices to be totaled up for reimbursement and he disregarded info. I also left many messages for His supervisor Mr. Robert Wilkerson and he never returned messages.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services lack of client care and support

My name is Brenda Epling and I work for Cumberland Hospital in New Kent, VA through UHS Inc. I was assaulted/attacked by a student suffering back, neck and hand injuries on Jan 3 2017. The name I have been given as a representative is Matt Long. It takes several weeks to get RX, physical therapy and now a new doctor approved. Mr. Long has been contacted by phone and e-mail by myself and our HR Director Kim Ivey. She has even had to be in touch with his supervisor. My physical therapists had to make repeated calls to get a TENS unit approval completed. I am still injured and the last Doc escalated me to see a Physiatrist A.S.A.P. on Thursday, April 27, 2017. There continues to be pain in my cervical and thoracic area in my neck and back, shoulder and sometimes even lower back now due to the continued strain. Mr. Long is not processing the DR request for a Physiatrist . A.S.A.P. to further investigate the depth of my injury and recovery plan. He is not returning calls or e-mail. I have been in contact with VA Workers Comp. office to complain and will be moving forward with a written formal complaint as needed. Please forward this to the right personnel to escalate the response. I am beginning to be concerned about permanent damage from the long-term pain and suffering I am experiencing.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services automobile claim. hit by enterprise renter.

Good lord is this place horrible to work with. I was hit by an enterprise rental vehicle this past march 3rd. My car is not drive able because of the fender hitting the wheel. (Lucky for me i've a second vehicle) it took over a week to even talk to an adjuster. His name sean steiner. We spoke twice, last time being st. Patrick's day. He has yet to return a call, or reply to an email. I keep getting sent to the voicemail of his supervisors, anthony hawkins, dana kelly, dominic, barb masters, and some # tammy. This place actually blocked my incoming calls because I tried to get someone on the phone to help with my claim. I was calling at least 5 times a day, and never talked to a single person except the flunkies in the call center. The head call center flunkie, tammy, sounds like she just came in from slopping the hogs in the morning. Total no class puppet who knows nothing. My next step is stopping in their office in seven hills, ohio next week when I visit family in cleveland for easter!

Sedgwick Claims Management Services lost time wage compensation

My name is Tamiko Gates on February 14th 2017 I went out on a work-related incident. I was placed on restricted Duty where I could only work 3 hours a day period I was released back to regular Duty on February 22nd 2017. During that time I was sent a letter from Deanna Thomas who was my claims associate going for me to contact her if I had any lost time. I immediately contacted her in regards to the fact that I could only work 3 hours a day period on on February 22nd she contacted my supervisor who reported to miss Thomas the hours and which I worked period on that day I was also released back to work full time period I immediately contacted Miss Thomas to inform her that I was released back to work full-time on December 22nd because she called and informed me that she contacted my supervisor and regards to my hours. I continue to contact Miss Thomas and regards to the status of my claim with no returned phone call or email. A week later I contacted the general office number and found that Miss Linda straw was my claims adjuster. I contacted mr. All and explain to her the situation period because at this time to check from my job had came and passed with no one explained to me that I would not receive compensation from the time that I had missed. Miss Straw, then told me to send her a copy of my paycheck from the time that I was out period I scanned and emailed a copy of my paycheck to her she then sent me an email confirming that she received it I contacted Miss Straw again with no return phone call no returned email to find out the status of my claim. I finally got in contact with Miss straw on March 31st where she explained to me that my paycheck had been cut off and she could not see the entirety of the paycheck and asked me to resend the copy of the paycheck so that she could issue a check to me. I did so. Today on April 3rd I contacted Miss straw find out if she had received the email with the full view of my paycheck so that a check could be issued or if a check had already been issued. To no avail I found find that she is out of the office for the next two days she did leave a number for immediate contact who was Miss Sandy in the office. I contact Miss Sandy in the same office and are told that I am not eligible to be compensated because I was out less than 7 days. This is unacceptable because I could have used my vacation or sick time to compensate for the time that I lost due to dr. Restrictions from a work-related incident. I was told by my adjuster that would receive compensation for the time that I was lost at no time was I told I was not eligible. This is unacceptable and I need someone to call me promptly to explain the situation and to rectify the situation because this is not acceptable. I can be reached at [protected].

Sedgwick Claims Management Services getting post op prescriptions filled

I am currently trying to get post op prescriptions filled. Only 2 have been approved out of 5 I am not able to use the bathroom due to the pain meds therefore they have prescribed medicine to help me poop. I have also been given a script for nausea due to the amount of pills being taken for pain so I also need those. I am trying to figure out why I have not heard from my claim manager nor am I able to get the prescriptions I need so desparetly for post op. I had to pay out of pocket because otherwise I would not of had my medicine when I got out of the hospital on Wednesday. I find it obsurd that these could not be filled when I needed them after surgery. Someone needs to help me understand this or get these meds approved because I am in need of them, like I said they are all needed for post op so that I can take the time and heal properly.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services orene terry / lies

On December 27, 2016 I was sitting at a stop sign and was hit by a company vehicle. I was not contacted for two weeks and had to find out myself who the insurance adjuster was for my claim. My car could not be driven so for two weeks I was without a vehicle and my car had not been touched due to the negligence from this company and Orene Terry, the adjuster. After many phone calls I finally got in touch with Orene Terry and had to ask about my claim. I had to beg for a rental car considering I have children and a job and no way to get anywhere. I finally got a rental car and was without my vehicle until February 1, 2017. She then refused to pay the bill for the rental car and also tried to refuse to pay for the tow truck fee. Orene said I turned my car in to Enterprise 10 days before I actually did. She also took a month to send a check to cover the costs. I eventually received a form that I was forced to sign and simply asked her a question about it and she did not answer me for two days and then told me due to me not signing the form in a quick fashion that it was my fault that I did not get the check earlier. I signed the form as soon as she responded to me and send it to her that day. I have all email correspondence between her and I. I would never recommend this company to anyone or the adjuster. I was sent These people are rude and terrible to deal with.

My claim was eventually reassigned to Gallagher Bassett and they are so nice and professional!

Sedgwick Claims Management Services slip and fall in smart and final

In September 2012, I slipped and fell in water that was on the floor in Smart and Final. There were NO wet floor signs posted. I never even saw the water. Anyway, after about 18 months all relevant documents had been completed and the adjuster said she was ready to settle my claim. It took me another 3 weeks to speak to the adjuster Adrianna, to see want the wait was. She advised me, they were ready to make me an offer for settlement. However, she was going on vacation and would call me in 10 days with an offer. (Mind you, that over this 18 month period, she NEVER answered her phone. And when I asked for her manager, I would reach a vm with no name, just an automated generic message. NO return call from her either) Needless to say, she NEVER CALLED! I called her everyday for a year straight, and here we are 5 years later and NOTHING.
I hurt my shoulder so bad, that I still can't put my left hand over my head, nor can I carry anything heavier than 1lb, without dire consequences ! And to this day I'm in pain everyday. My doctor is now suggesting surgery!
I am baffled, why they wouldn't settle my case, before my injury got worse. I tried calling every Sedgwick phone number I could find to no avail!
I am a bit luckier than most. Because my uncle is a Judge, who's retiring in a couple of months. He is furious and adamant about spending his retirement, taking on Sedgwick, for free!

Sedgwick Claims Management Services workmen's compensation

I have been on Workman's Compensation since September of 2002. Yes, this is not a misprint. 2002. After 3 surgeries on my neck, my neck is still not fixed, leaving me with great pain and debilitating headaches which actually make me unable to move. My most recent complaint (complaints have been endless but most recently as in the past 2-3; years, I could write complaints daily), is regarding the denial of payment on my mileage. After speaking with my attorney on thus issue it seems it does absolutely no good. I submitted my mileage. They have supposedly 60 days to respond. They responded denying my payment of mileage with a ridiculous statement writing "how do they know I went to these doctors appointments". I live in Ohio now and lived in California when I was injured. Because of this entire workman's comp issue I used my entire savings just to live. I fly back and forth to California because no one here wants to take on a 15 year old workman's comp case, especially from California. I fly back to see my workman's comp doctor that I have been seeing for 15 years. The doctor sends bills to the insurance company and also sends a report stating my current complaints and requesting specific health care. What do they mean how do they know that I actually went to these doctors appointments? That does not even make any sense at all to me. After speaking with my attorney he informed me that they have a right to object. I agree if it was substantiated. I believe this was just a stall tactic to issue me my money owed to me. I submitted it at the end of September 2016. It is now February 3rd and I have no money. Over half of the mileage I am submitting is mileage to/from the doctor while still living in California. They also owe me a letter stating that they cut off my checks which I take to the social security office so my monthly check can be increased. I am trying to live off of $600 /month for almost a year. Even in Ohio is impossible. My complaints are seriously endless . I have worked my entire life until my injury. I am 56 years old now and even if I could go back to work there is no one that would consider hiring me at my age. The insurance company stated that they were going to settle and then let me be responsible for my own healthcare. They went though the entire process only to tell me 8 months later that they didn't want to settle at this time. When they told me they were going to settle that is when I made the decision to move to Ohio. I thought I would get care at the Cleveland Clinic. After preparing to move and then the insurance company deciding not to settle, that was the end of everything. Since then I am basically homeless with absolutely no money and not getting any health care. When I do go back to California to see my doctor, it is on my dime. It doesn't even matter if I go because whatever my doctor requests, they deny and send 15 sheets of paper saying it's denied. Also, they don't always send me the paperwork. If they get around to it they will send it. Otherwise I wait and continue calling my doctor or attorney to see if the procedure was approved. There has to be something that can be done. My state of depression is exactly where the insurance company wants it to be. On the verge of a suicidal episode so that they won't have to pay out anything for me any longer. That I believe is the absolute truth. They would like me to fall off the face of the earth and have not one thought about me or anyone else medically. How people can have not one ounce of compassion to others that have paid their dues is beyond me. After reading a fifth of these complaints just justifies and gives merit to my story. Trust me, I haven't even told you a tenth of my complaints. These are just the current complaints. Please help!

Sedgwick Claims Management Services unethical behavior from a insurance business - not answering or returning call on a automobile accident case.

My lawyer has been trying to resolve my car accident case since September 2016: Claim Number: [protected]-0001.

The Claims Adjuster does not answer their telephone calls or return the calls to the Adjuster on the Case. This has been happening since September of last year .

I believe Sedgewick Insurance Company is a very unprofessional company for not answering clients questions; I do not know how they are still in business for Insurance purposes.

I would like a expedient answer to my lawyer on their phone calls so I can have this case settled with a great offers as soon as expediently possible. Lawyers are Saiontz and Kirk - 3 S Frederick Street - Suite 900; Baltimore, Maryland [protected] or [protected] or [protected].

This is uncalled for; just going back and forth with leaving messages and no answer!

Sedgwick Claims Management Services manhattan sofa and chaise

In April of 2016, I had my sofa and chaise repaired by one of you're repair men you send out. The spots repaired look really bad. Discoloration and peeling where it was repaired. Iam very unhappy about it. Last week, I filed a claim with Sedgwick. Today I hear from an Adjuster regarding my sofa nor chaise are either covered on the BCP. I purchased the 2 year agreement. The adjuster stated you all can send out another repair man to fix it again. No that will not work. I do not need another repair man to ruin my sofa and chaise again trying to repair it. I want it replaced. It is not my problem you all used faux (fake) leather. I will contact the BBB regarding this issue if this is not resolved.

Deon Carter is the adjuster handling my claims. The claim #'s are [protected] and [protected]. Contact me regarding this issue. I'm sure your company can eat the measly $800 we paid for this sectional set so we can have a nice sectional worth our money. Please email me for photos as I was unable to upload them.

Thanks,
Kelly Kendrick

Sedgwick Claims Management Services claim service

After a month of trying to reach this company I finally got paired with a claim examiner. After 3 months of trying to get everything in order with the company I finally was able to get a rental and put my car in the shop. The shop still has multiple days of work left to do on the car, but enterprise (The car rental company) has not been able to reach the company regarding the rental. I have tried to reach out to my examiner every day from 01/09-01/12 with no avail. Now I can't even reach anyone from the company at all and I have been hung up on twice. I really need assistance in regards to this situation.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services housing claim submitted

The worst claim company ever. I would not recommended selecting them. Here's why: i've had a claim submitted with sedgwick for over a month now and i'm still chasing a ghost for an answer. My claim specialist was a man named steven fryer. This rep never answers his calls, never responds to emails, ignores your calls for even an update and sends you straight to his voice mail that he probably just erases. If this is just one service rep, the others are probably the same. So incompetent!

After a month of me having to comply with images of damages, me constantly emailing, having their reps exhibit several inspections of the horrible floor damages; admitting to them making the damages, he then denies my claim does not return a call or email but sends a letter of denial saying there was not enough proof. When you can clearly see the damages the clients made on my floor and it is still not fixed. Very unprofessional, if there were other actions I can take to let others know how bad their service is I will. Others who are thinking of going with them, refrain. They will have you going around and around in circles only to un-service you in return.

Sedgwick Claims Management Services christopher collier claims rep

At Family Dollar on Central Street and Lynn Mass a shelf fell on top of my daughter when we was getting our Christmas tree when it fell we scream for help no employees came to help... I had to lift the shell off my daughter when I already have severe back pain that I am on monthly medicine for with ulcers we made a complaint 2 Family Dollar manager he went to the aisle to move shelf so no one else gets hurt... the employee apologize but my daughter still got hurt... Christopher collier reached out to me a month later, he then told me i never received health forms because they had no address for me, which i believe is not correct, they did have my address or how would he have received my phone number! So Christopher then tells me they have the security footage and the shelf indeeds falls on my daughter and if i have health insurance they have to cover my daughter injuries... And that she will receive a 1, 000 check for an award...and i need to have the health forms back to him asap... Then today i call about some questions and he pretends we never had a conversation, i have two witnesses from work when Christopher called me that day about the health forms and the check, because he was on speaker phone because i was at work, today he states he never called two weeks ago and that he didnt offer nothing to my daughter and he was very rude... When he called two weeks ago and was talking about the security footage and explain everything down to detail, now he acting like we never spoke... I want something to be done now about this... Thank you and happy new year!

Sedgwick Claims Management Services prescriptions

My name is michele haywood. I have been under a worker's comp claim since august 14, 2013.
Since august, 2016, I have been having extremely long wait times for any or all three of my prescriptions to be filled by the pharmacy - publix in merchant's crossing, englewood, fl for the hydrocodone (Because they always have it, without fail) and the walgreens @ oriele in englewood, fl for the nabumetone and tizanidine.
My former claims adjuster, hunter shaw, left without a warning, I believe the current one is lori buck whom I never hear from.
One of these medications has nasty side effects when not taken properly; and another medication prevents spasticity.
Why does it take so long to approve them? And, how can I get them approved the day I turn them in—when they are due?
This is my second or third complaint on approval services.
Thank you,
Michele haywood
