I bought a 1999 Dodge Avenger, it has been back several times for service including the power windows stopped working, they driver rotor was bad, they caused the SRS light to come on, the engine start skipping and not wanting to start, the check engine light was flashing, the sunroof came loose and more. This last time when I went and picked up the vehicle it broke down in less than fifteen minutes from leaving the dealer. It has been nothing but a problem, DO NOT buy from this dealer, you will not be getting anywhere because your vehicle will be broken down and in the shop the whole time.

This is a terrible lender. The company is owned by Michael Farr. He is being investigated by the SEC for misappropriation of pension funds. Basically, he took pensions from police officers and firemen and funneled into companies owned only by him. They also hock the titles to cars they finance to recoup money lost. They give false payoffs in order to delay a customer from paying off vehicle while they do not have the title. Stay away from this lender at all costs! They are awful!

I bought a 2005 Cobalt from 2nd chance motors! I bought it with a warranty. Then a few weeks after pulling off the lot and putting $1000 and getting conned into 30% interest, I went back because the steering wheel was jumping. They said it would be an alignment. I told them I would pay for the fix but they said "No that won't be necassary. Bring it here though- don't go anywhere else" ***keep in mind I still had a week to return the vehicle if I changed my mind about it*** so I brought it by. They "fixed it" A week later I had a tire pop on 75 at 65 mph. I did not have a spare which by law they have to give you. Then, I spent 100 between towing and new tires. 4 days later and I am NOT exaggerating- my tire blew again. Same situation. So I called and 2nd chance said bring it in. After 2 more visits and 4 more flat tires and over 500 spent. Things ran smoothly for about a month. Then, I got into a little fender bender. Geico quoted me 300 for fixing everything. Only to find out after they opened the car up that there was underlying frame damage. It had been welded together/ spray painted and hidden. The car was announced as totalled. I called second chance and parr said they did not know about the damage. I called my car salesmen Harold and he told me that they DID know and that they told him to sell me the car anyways. I asked them for a carfax and they gave me one saying there was no wreck on the vehicle. I asked my lawyer *once i got one* to get it and he found one saying the car had been in three wrecks. SO second chance changed the carfax. They don't report to the credit bureau either so dont think for a second this will at least help your credit until you get something better. I could have died in that car. They didn't care.

I just purchased my 2nd vehicle from Second Chance Motors and have no regrets. I did have a few problems with my 1st vehicle about 4 months after I purchased it, however, understanding that when purchasing anything "used", "could" mean Problems, (I know from past experiences) I took my vehicle back to the Marietta dealership with HOPES that they would not do me like ANOTHER dealership did me(I won't name drop-it's not Godly of me-because they were right, I didn't have a waranty it was Buy As Is), they said, "You purchased it AS IS, your car, your problem" (I was Crushed:(! And thank God Seocnd Chance DIDN'T! They assured me that they would "work with me" and they did! It wasn't perhaps as quick as "I" may have wanted it to happen, but they did and I didn't even have a warranty, so I am most thankful for the assistance of getting my vehicle back on the road. As for the employees... I had 1 not so "friendly" experience (a salesman), but I also had at least 6 other Outstanding experiences... (Mr. Mike Farr, Mr. Mel Farr, Christian, Verna, Natalie and Scott)! Because of them, I won't go anywhere else! I'm sorry to hear these other stories, I say, they gave us a Second Chance, maybe you should give them one! Lol! God Bless Everyone and Your vehicles!

I wish that i would have seen these comments before i bought a car with SCM...They are very unprofessional and rude..We are in the process of getting our car fixed, but they sold the loan to someone else and now they are saying that we are not able to get our warranty..which is crap..but i will let the lawyers handle all of that...We also talked with Natalie from SCM and she ended up hanging up on my husband when he tried to call to get the car fixed...PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM SCM I WARN YOU!

The company has no money.the employees do not get paid on time and the business should be shut down. There are numerous complaints from customers about tag and mechanical issuses. And the sad part about it is they just do not care. Hwenever you call to speak with Natalie or Mr Farr they never come to the phone that is just bad business. That is why it is so hard to support black owned businesses. He need to just call it quits and go and get him a real job because it is obvious that he is trying to live beyound his means. I guess all of our money has gone toward the big building that they now have in Marietta. That's probaly why I have not been able to get my down payment back. After not being able to get my tag for over 60+ days and getting 2 tickets. Its a shame but, I will do everything in my power to stop them from doing hard working people this way. We need to stand together.

I know someone who works for them and he feels the same way that all of you do! He's a mechanic and he is the only one who agrees with all the customers. He never gets paid on time...he gets blamed for the crappy cars that they buy because they are not willing to pay for fixing them right. They owe so many companies money that they can't even get parts for the cars. The working conditions are hazardous. He wishes he could leave, but he has no choice...he needs the money (when he gets it)... If none of yall know...the owner Mike Farr is actually being investigated for fraud and tax evasion. If you want to get the company shut down...call every authority you can and let them know what is going on. They don't deserve to be operating. By the way, the money you are paying for the cars is most likely not going to pay for the vehicles...so that's probably why you cant get your registration or title. Please do something because the customers are what keeps the company going...no customers...no business!

I bought a van 3 months ago from second chance motors, and I have not be able to get my tags. They keep giving me the run around and hanging up the phone on me. I have been stopped several times by the police for having a tempory tag. My van has several major problems that they claimed was repaired, but days later I am still having problems. They will not accept my payments and they won't let me return the car. This company need to be shut down. Do not trust Ms. Knight and Mr. Farr at the corporate office in Marietta, Ga.

This company is the most deceitful company that I have ever dealt with and I work in sales. They have owed me money for over a month now and continue to give me the run around. I strongly suggest that anyone interested in buying a car DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The people that work for the company are rude and very unprofessional, they need to be shut the hell down.
I would never refer anyone to that the company, nor recommend getting any car, van, suv or anything from this company, its a waste and of money.

I agree, I bought a van from the company about three months ago. The engine went out on it, and they have been giving me the run around since I bought the car. It took them awhile to get my tags, and they have made mistakes with their finanace company regarding my payments. My cousin has also had problems with them.
