I joined for a once Seattle Coffee Direct for once a month and have been sent coffee from two days to five days and have been billed for each time. Each time I call to cancel I cannot get through on the phone. Their website does not have a place to cancel memberships. What do i do?

Just a little news to brighten your day: this company has gone out of business. hopefully this will not prevent any of you from receiving your refunds.

Like so many others I was duped! I thought I was buying and single pound of coffee for 4.99 but Seattle Coffee Direct denied my credit card. You can imagine my shock when I received more than 14 lbs in 2 weeks! I returned every grain only to discover Seattle Coffee had no record of the coffee being returned. I'm still fighting it and will continue to do so. By the way, they charged my credit card nearly $300!

Just a note to let everyone know that despite the fact that Seattle Coffee Direct REFUSED to refund my money on the phone, I contacted the Better Business Bureau and SCD decided to give the money back. You can submit a complaint through the BBB and they work directly with the company for you.

Good luck!

this company conveniently loses your cancellation requests and sends product against your wishes for the sole purpose of robbing your bank account. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy, let alone a friend. anyone seeking this kind of product and service should look elsewhere unless you enjoy migraine headaches.

I have just completed a complaint form to be sent to the Illinois Attorney General's office, the State where this so-called business operates.
I encourage all other "victims" to do the same.

Meantime, I hope you all have cancelled your credit cards!

When I signed up for coffee direct I thought I would get coffee every 2 weeks (its in their terms). I received coffee every 2 days and my account was charged 38.95 every 2 days! I canceled my membership on June 11, its now Aug 12 still no refund! I have tried talking to a manager there is never one available, have been hung up on repeatedly by their representatives! Stay away from Seattle Coffee Direct!

I authorized only a promotional offer of two bags of coffee two travel mugs and two coffee mugs. I have already received two more shipments that are not authorized. and I spoke with Brian at Seattle Direct Coffee by phone and he said that they do not have a return policy and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she was "busy" and then she would be out of the office for lunch. This is bad customer service all the way around.

I complete an offer for a $2.00 trial sample of coffee along with 2 travel mugs. My checking account was charged for two shipments of product not ordered at the full price of $38.68 that very evening, before I'd even completed the offer. Not impressed with Seattle Coffee Direct.

I contracted for samples of Seattle Coffee. The company charged my Master Card three times - once for the $5.00 the offer claimed was the cost, and twice for $38.95 - not mentioned in the offer. I have rfeceived nothing from Seattle Direct and Google has not taken me to a company website.

Initial offer was $5.00 for 2 lbs of coffee and a grinder. I received 2 lbs of coffee, 2 travel mugs and 2 coffee mugs and was charge $25.00. I called and canceled my account but am still receiving shipments every 2-3 days for $38.95 each. I've contacted my bank and am contesting all charges from Seattle Coffee Direct!

I order from them one time. I keep getting coffee from them every other day for two weeks. They keep taking money out of my account unauthorized. Each time it around $40. I have over drawen checks because of them. I keep calling them and they tell me I'm off there list sure enough I keep getting more. I live on a fixed income. They still won't give my money back.

Seattle Coffee Direct has sent me 3 shipments of the "sample "..coffee offers... I dont care for the coffee and want my name completely off list.
I accepted their $5, 00 offer... via PC, not expecting 3 deliveries.
I want written notice that they have deleted my name

I ordered their $5 promo, never received it and they charged me $25 for it plus 2 more times at $38.95 per charge. They argued giving a refund and their customer service personnel are rude.

I recieved a shipment of coffee to try for 19.95, but have recieved and have been billed from my bank account for shipments costing 39.95 every 2 to 3 days 3 times already. any more shipments will be returned to sender, and payment must be refunded to my account.

Continued appropriation of funds from my bank account after confirmed cancellation of services and specific demand to cease withdrawal of funds, ; immediately after cancellation company, through other dummy company made two withdrawals from account for zero goods as well as having already being told that legal action was forth coming. Someone besides myself needs to also begin legal action to cease this thieving.

I signed up for the promotion and received what I had asked for. No where in their ad did it mention that they would be sending additional shipments and charging me for them. I have received two additional charges and two additional shipments that I had not ordered. The charges for the additional bags of coffee are extremely high with the shipment charges.

They charged me every three days 6 times in one month for 39.00 5 times and 25.oo the first time.. I called to cancel, and the woman had no answers for me she cancelled my account. I ordered two mugs, two stainless steel coffee mugs and two bags of coffee for 9.99. I got charged $25, then every week following that I was charged $38.95 for two bags of coffee! When I called I was told that it was $12.50 a bag for the coffee, which means they charge $13.95 to ship a $4 package! They received my return 3 weeks ago (I got signature confirmation!) and I have yet to see the money come back.

Ordered on october 05 2008 thinking it was a great deal then I noticed the 25 dollar charge right away. then i cam across all of the reviews about this company. I'm now petrified about what will happen next because I can't afford to be debited continuously. I pray nobody else falls for this scam.

I signed up for a monthly $25 subscription and somehow ended up with a $40.00 A WEEK! Who payes that much a week for coffee?

Customer service lady was OK. Since I had not received the shipment I was still able to return it, however once it is delivered there is no return. That is bogus. This company is horribly run.

WATCH OUT..

My card was charged twice in the amount of $48.95. I answered a promotional offer saying it would cost $25.00 for 2 bags of coffee, 2 free mugs and 2 free warmers. I recieved that and more coffee kept arriving, unordered. Very dissatisifed. If money is not returned I will be filing a fraud complaint through my bank.

I didn't order anything, but I did do a free test and I got no grinder and was surprised when 2 more bags showed up the same day. And the next day I went to the bank and found out they charged me 34.00 for the sample and the next day charged me another 38.95. I'm going to court!

Advertised $9 dollar charge for two bags of coffee and a free coffee grinder. Actual charge was $34.oo and I received 3 monthly shipments of coffee in the first 4 weeks of dealing with these people, each of which was charged to my credit card without notice or authorization. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY! They practice unethical business and do not do what they promise.

I order the coffee and thought that was the end. I got a charge on my credit card for 3 times the amount. I sent back the order but never got credit on my card. It has now been 2 months that I sent the coffee back and have not gotten my credit.

Their coffee, bean form, Ethiopian Harrar which came in an introductory offer, is probably the weakest flavored, blah coffee bean I have ever ground and brewed. My disappointment is extreme.
