I am shocked and appalled by the rudeness of the owner Marc Schumacher. We were made to wait 30 min in the cold because their winter flex camp registration form printed the wrong start time and no one bothered to tell the paying customer. Attached is a screen shot of texts I made while waiting.

After dropping my girls with the instructor, I walked into the office and said, "Can you please change your registration form? It says 8:30 and we waited for 30 min." Marc stared at me blankly and then after some silence sarcastically said "OK." I replied, "Thank you for your apology." He then became extremely irate and started gesticulating wildly. He then screamed at me to BRING MY CHILD HOME. I said I already paid and he said he'd give my money back. He called me his problem and then said two of his instructors called in sick.

WOW. That is how customers get treated when the owner is stressed out.

This IS Marc Schumacher and I just happened to see my name associated with "bullying" -something my wife -a successful published author- and I are on an all-out crusade against. It has been nearly five years since this posting by this pathetic small person!
Well, we have now fast forwarded to a new era, after several years of happy customers, happy parents and fantastic activities. In fact, so much so that we have opened two new Annexes, one in Flanders and the other as our Winter Home-Base in Ocala, Florida! We have a great IEA Team 32 riders strong that just qualified for Regionals, both as Teams and as Individuals. To the exception of a handful, these riders have all started to ride at Seaton Hackney Stables when they were still in Kindergarten or in Elementary School.
DOES ANYONE SERIOUSLY BELIEVE THIS PATHETIC REVIEW POSTED BY A VINDICTIVE TORTURED SOUL THAT THOUGHT THAT, AS A CUSTOMER, SHE WAS...ENTITLED TO BELITTLED MY STAFF AND COPE AN ATTITUDE? Could all this have been achieved by a...bully? LOL!
The truth is that I, Marc Schumacher, truly love what I do for our kids. Sharing a life long of equestrian knowledge and passion with them, watching them grow into outgoing, respectful and articulate teenagers, interact with the horses and with each other with poise and charisma, acquire valuable skills and thrive in a healthy, mind and spirit enhancing environment is what rewards me and keeps me going. Your puny attempt at publicly denigrating my character has done nothing except motivate me to carry on my mission and weed out the rotten apples that could spoil the batch. I am glad I weeded YOU out.

It takes such a petty person to publicly log complaints and hide behind the Internet. But, of course, if you put your real name, the facility could sue you for liable and defamation. What a shame that you are such a coward. BTW, camps start at 9am and there is EARLY DROP OFF if arranged in advance. How do I know? My children just went to flex camp for Spring Break. I really don't like people who try to settle scores online. Why ruin it for the rest of us? This facility is so good to all of the riders (young and old) in the area. Shame on you, Coward.

I just wanna go straight to the point. I completely disagree with this complaint. I know Marc Schumacher and I believe that he won't do such thing especially to customers. Seaton Hackney Stables owner and staff deserve some respect.

This woman clearly did not follow company protocol stated both, verbally- upon submission of the registration form and in BOLD-type in the form itself and because of the consequence she was faced with, seems to feel it is necessary to spend all of her "valuable time" spreading rumors of bad-business practice. It is unfortunate people are more compelled to speak up and exert time and energy when they're aggravated than when things go well. It's the same concept with the "how's my driving?" hotlines...No one ever calls to report good driving, even though it occurs more often than not. Attention to detail goes a long way and spares us all frustration! Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Formulate your own opinions from your own experiences and take all factors into consideration before jumping to conclusions.

-Proud instructor of happy clients,

Seaton Hackney Stables.

BTW, my daughter rides there and we have never had anything except great experiences. This Witze woman has a bug up her butt and needs to stand down. I already posted links to legal action that the owner should take against her. I hope they pursue it. This woman needs a judge to slap her with a hefty fine for slander and harassment.

My advice...ignore her and visit the stables. It's a fantastic place for children and adults, too.

This woman continually posts this same complaint all over the Internet. It is to the point where she is clearly harassing the business and owner. Not cool.
