Seagate hard drive / Faulty

1 Buckley, Wales, Clwyd, United Kingdom Review updated:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I bought A Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 1TB external hard drive around 12 months ago. Suddenly out of the blue it stopped working and appeared to be making a clicking noise. After a bit of research it became apparent that this is a common problem which is known as, 'the click of death'. I would like this matter resolved as I am a loyal customer who have always purchased and recommended products as I thought they were of such a high quality. I have tried phoning them on several occations, onlly to be cut off.

Yours sincerely,

These drives are notorious for crashing. Always best to have a backup!

Try freezing the drive to get important data off of it. It works; do a google search for freezing your hard drive.
