Scuba.com Missing item, poor service

I bought a lot of things from this website (over $300) and everything arrived in a timely manner except my dive mask. Mask was missing and it was the most expensive thing from my order. I contacted Scuba and their rep said that was a terrible accident and promised I'll get my mask any time soon. One week later I contacted them to get the latest information regarding my order and was told that there will be issued a refund because mask was no longer in stock! I went to their website and there was no information about that, their site said that mask was available.
What a terrible service!

Scuba.com Worst service ever

This company has the worst customer service and incompetence I have ever seen. I ordered a scuba bag from there, they said we'd get it by Jan 9. That came and went, no update on their website, no communication as to the delay. When I called they blamed the manufacture, said it would arrive by Jan 16 now. Jan 16 I call, they say it's the manufacturer again and won't arrive their location till Jan 23.
This bag was for my son who is in Los Angeles on Xmas break from college in Northern Calif.
The order was to be delivered to my home where he is staying for Xmas, I kept telling them he leaves Jan 23 back to college.
On Jan 16 when I called and found out the delay again I asked them on the 23rd to then ship it to his college dorm as he won't be in Los Angeles anymore.
That evening we get an email saying it SHIPPED and will arrive up north on Jan 20TH? NOBODY WILL BE THERE THEN.
I call to get it fixed, the guy tells me that he can't do anything about it. I explain nobody will be on campus to receive it. He says he can't do anything about it.
These guys can't get their facts straight, don't communicate to the customer when promises aren't met, and refuse to take the slightest bit of responsibility to correct their mistakes.
I will never shop there again and suggest the rest of you understand their gross incompetence before you shop there yourself.

Staff is very abrupt and borderline rude on the phone. Ordered a wetsuit which I said that we would need for an upcoming trip. Sales rep recommended one which could be shipped immediately. Ordered a mens medium. The packing slip showed a mens large but the package contained a women's small. Called up and was told that we should reorder a new suit before returning the incorrect suit. Again we went with salesperson's recommendation. The next day we get an e-mail stating that the suit is out of stock and won't be in until after we return home from our trip. Call up again and the new salesperson basically tells me that I am out of luck and now they have nothing in stock. No apologies. Just one ruined dive trip!

I ordered several items from scuba.com mostly for snorkeling. Turns out 1/2 of my order they did not have in stock and had to get from the manufacture which would be a two week delay. Then it became a three week delay. I emailed them I was going on vacation and needed these items and if they could not send them prior to me leaving then cancel the order. They never emailed me back. If you need scuba gear don't go to scuba.com . They are totally worthless.

Scuba.com Worst online shopping customer service

To make it Short, RUDE, NO RESPECT, NOT RELIABLE or RESPONSIBLE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED, I would only recommend it, if you are going to walk in. NO WEB Order.

something goes wrong with order, it is never their fault and they DO NOT PUT ANY EFFORT TO MAKE CUSTOMER FEEL BETTER about their mistakes.

I was reffered by good friend of mine to purchase some items I needed for my last min trip "from scuba.com". I am leaving on Friday and I only had 5 days to get ready for all items.

Monday morning, I started viewing their website. I was pleased with easy process on online and good description on the products sand i did made an order after 1 hour of reviewing and comapring.

I was qualified with free shipment due to the fact the order amount was more than 500 or so. But I had to Put 3day delivery with extra charge to make sure i will be getting it on time.

On Thursday, I got the shipment as I expected. I was pleased and I opened the package. and everything was there EXCEPT WET SUIT AND ALSO GLOVE. which is like most important items i needed. Other ones i could have borrowed from friends or buy easy other places. However, missing a Wet suit was very disturbing.

I called immediately and they are telling me it was back ordered and it will be all there by friday 1: 30. I told him that i will pick it up tomorrow. He advised it is okay to pick it up, but to call first prior to leaving.

I called on Friday at 1:00 to confirm. I wa son hold for queit a while and got transffered about 4 -5 times and finally, Dan, Sales person or instructor got on a phone. I asked him if the merchandises are there for pick up and found out glove wont be there till Tuesday now.

ok, fine, I told him i will just pick up another glove thats there. But I like to get a refund or credit for the 3 day delivery charge which was $20.00. since i have to drive 3 hour to just pick that up and i have to delay my trip for this mess they made and DIDN'T EVEN NOTIFY THE BUYERS. I was Very upset and disturbed the way DAN (sales person) treated me . His Exact word " you already got yours in 3 days and I cannot refund you for what you already got " i asked if i could talk to his manager. HE GOES "THERE IS NO MANAGER HERE. YOU CANNOT TALK TO ANY ONE HIGHER THAN ME. I WILL BE THE HIGHEST PERSON YOU COULD TALK TO." I asked again if there is any supervisor or owner "He was hysterically saying No to me and transfered to another person.

I have enjoyed a lot of online shopping and I do it very often. THIS WAS WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD. I ENCOURAGE YOU TRY LOOKING ANOTHER SOURCE THAN SCUBA.com
