scratch off / failed to give right amount

i love to play scratch offs mostly crossword and bingo. well one day i decide hell i play two of each. in my crossword i sratch 7 words equals 100 dollars plus one word had a star which doubles. i took to the place and i got FIVE dollars back. I AM PISSED I WANT THE REST. the rules are rules and it even saids on the back i can claim that money any place that they have the lottery tickets. well they said they dont understand the rules but that all it was worth ya i paid 5 bucks and that all i got back. please tell me that place SCAM me or yall did cause either way i want my money

    It is likely that you misunderstood the game (believe it or not, it happens often). The scratch-off reader automatically reads the ticket and declares your winnings (the ticket has a barcode that states how much it is worth). I suppose there is always a chance that the ticket was a mis-print, but they would not be held liable for that (the disclaimers on the tickets explain it). You won all that you could from that ticket. Sorry.

    I purchased a scratch off $5 cash word ticket and had 3 words(which pays $5) but when I redeemed the ticket, the scanner stated I didn't win.
