This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I was scrolling through my bank statement and discovered a charge for $29.95 on December 28, 2010. I had never ordered or authorized any one to take $29.95 or any money from my account.

I have tried to contact scoresense to return my money to no avail. I am tired of these things happening. I have had subscriptions to magazines with money taken from my account despite the fact that I had never ordered any magazines. If you don't check your account, these people get away with it. It's so frustrating.

They hit my account for $29.95. I called my bank and was told they get complaints for scoresense daily. I was told that the $29.95 was mentioned in fine print. I was told to change my account number to keep this from happening again. She said that it is doubtful I will get a refund from the company. She also told me that online loan companies use this site and if you apply for a loan online, then you are asked for a one time $1.00 charge for the service. Then in the small print it mentions the $29.95. I never saw any agreement or any fine print. Live an learn, I am not going to do any apps online again! I am changing all my account info and numbers today.

Is there a federal agency to report this scam to? If you know one please list it for the rest of us to complain to.

WOW! I Don't know how they get away with this, as I experienced the same thing, Not authorizing them to with draw money from my personal checking account, as I thought this was a one time charge for a credit report. No fooling.Guess what? The $1.00 charge turns into a forever on going charge of $29.95 taken out twice in a month. Only way to stop their assult, was to close my debit/credit card, and re open a new account @ the bank. This is FRAUD, Do not let scoresense get away with this, Report them to The Better Business Bureau/or your Lawyer/Or Both. Do Not trust them, if they offer you "Fraud Insurance" That is yet another Charge they will add to your bank account. What a Mess. Pursue this with the help of a Lawyer to get it done right. They get away with this each time they withdraw the charge from you, Fight Back by any way you can Legally. Sad in Pennsylvania~

I knew I wasnt the only one, but I had no idea how many people they took advantage of, most of these people are struggling, and this is an agency whose soppused to help you with what they are doing to you. I think we should take up a collection, go after them with a law suit and make sure everyone is paid back!

When I signed up to check my credit score, nowhere did it say it would charge my credit card $30.95 and $29.95 for the subsequent months. Shady practices, refusal to refund my account for services I didn't use. When I asked if they cared about their reputation, the representative basically shrugged over the phone. Why haven the BBB gotten involved yet?

This company must be stopped! The word free, means free, not a dollar. that is the scam, just to get your credit card #no, they did the same to me, they charge me a dollar, and seven days latter they took $29.95 out of my account. and I called them the next day, they did not want to give my money back, I started sending them E-mails and they finely gave me back my money. that was in June, now it is august, and they took another $29.95 out of my account. after I canceled it in June, and now they do not want to give me back my money, again. But this time I gave them 24 hours to put the money back in my account, by E-mail. after that I'm going to file a class action law suit against them, I have tried to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, But they are not listed with the BBB, I'm still working on it, I will find out who they are, and bring this to a stop. If you wish to shut this company down, and become part of this class action law suit, Please contact me at jimmied43@yahoo.com, I will need your help to shut them down, Please send me a letter of what they have done to you, I will need them to go to court with. with out your help this class action can not be filed. let us stand together and shut them down. .

I thought I was paying only 1.00 until I show my Bank Account Statement that I saw that I overdraw my account. So I call and they lower
my payment to 9.95.

This morning this also happened to my boyfriend. He went to check his bank account and noticed $29.95 missing. He then proceeded to tell them off and cancel the membership. They had absolutley no remorse or answers as to why they took money out of the account. thats what i call bad business. He'll be meeting with a lawyer. Maybe after enough complaints or a class action lawsuit, this company will be out of business!

I have been taken also. Class action suit everyone? What a horrible company. I had to get a credit score for a job I was applying for. No call back for the job and now I'm short $29.95 from my account. Why is this fraudulent company still in business?

Agree with them all...just looked at my account and yes $1.00 taken out and then $29.95 taken out...Call number on account and its closed at this time. Brought up web site and wow consumer complaints jump at me and wow wow...wife said she was applying for a job and had to apply for the $1.00 free check as part of a job applications. So with all this said and done how does someone stop this deduction from our accounts.

My husband and I joined Scoresense, May 5, 2012 and I read over everything I thought completely as possible, but come to find out under the terms dis-closer they have the 7 day rule on cancellations. We did not receive not one early notice that they were going to debit our cards until I check my account and found out they had taken $29.95 out of my account and $29.95 out of my husband when this was determined I then contacted customer service and they were just nasty. I going to file a former complaint with the BBB and whomever else will listen to me. This is fraudulent company and the need to be exposed for what they are worth. The company should have the 7 day cancellations on the very first page where it would be disable to the customers and not hidden away. I want my refund back!

The same thing happened to me...when I saw there was a free trial period ...and then later I would be charged...I closed out the window ... when I called in the agent disagreed and stated that I had agreed to a $29.95 a month service charge. This is one of the most agregious rip offs I have ever heard of...why would anyone pay that much money ... almost $360 a year for a report that could be obtained almost anywhere for a minimum amount of money. They have you give your credit card number...thinking you would see the "free report" as it would identify you. Unbelievable that this can go on...Also, she kept saying many times the confirmation "email" would be in my "spam" folder...Don't know about anyone else...but I don't open Spam Folders or Junk emails. This definetly is a scam and I am sure if they sent me verification to my email I would have cancelled the next day!

This company is a toatal fraud. They sent themselves up as a free credit report and then switch and bait by charging you $29.95 per month. When you claa their sales force, they claim that you had 7 days to cancle once you do lthe initail free report, but there site is not clear that you are actually signing up for a service. Additioanlly, once you cancle you end up paying another full month becasue they charge a month ahead so lthey lcaim you missed the cut-off period. SCAM SCAM SCAM

The same thing happened to me and they took out 29.95 w/o my permission or knowledge. I called the number and spoke to a girl who talked so softly and so fast I could not grasp her sentences. I was furious and told her to slow down and speak up.. What she was saying was she would have the billing dept. look at it and email me. I said I am NOT giving you my email address. I just changed it yesterday due to 15 spammers a day, ever since I went online to look into car insurance, and I am not going through that again..she said they can't write me... so I said if the money isn't back in the back in 4 days time, I am issuing a dispute with my bank, Wells Fargo. I told her that I am NOT a member, do not have an ID number and never did anything but pay a dollar through my bank for their credit report, which is what they had advertised.. they never advertised becoming a member and 29.95 whether once or more, I don' t know or care.. I am not putting up with this crap.

Not only is this company a fraud but their customer service SUCKS as well! After I found these extra charges on my account which clearly I didnt see the fine print they claim was on my screen they told me I will not be getting my refund. This was even after the fact the rep said I didnt use any of the "great perks" the members have access too! Ummm excuse all I needed was to compare their scores to what I already knew my score was previously. So I didnt need any more perks. FYI if a customer is not happy with the service it should not matter how long it takes for them to discover charges not approved, their choice should be honored because end the end its THEIR MONEY and THEIR CHOICE ON HOW TO SPEND IT. It shouldnt matter if they called 2 days after the free trial besides who really can remember how long a site claims a free trial to be if your only on their for a minute anyways.
BTW, the customer service are Sales Reps and will try their bes to sale you a dream and to stay with the company almost as worse as the pesty guy on the street trying to hound you to buy his newspaper and wont leave you alone! OMG shut this company down ASAP! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM PPL... MAKE A BETTER CHOICE THAN I DID! If they werent such A-holes I might of not disputed the charges with my bank after it was all said and done. They have NO compassion! I mean come on its human error we all have been mislead at times..SMDH **** SCORESENSE MAKES NO DAMN SENSE AND SHOULD BE CALLED MISLEADSENSE.COM

FreeScore.com duped me the same way! Now I'm out $59 because I didn't see it hit me in Jan but I did notice when my bank account went below the norm on Feb. 22!
I also called to get my account canceled and request a full refund but they kept countering with "this is a 7 day trial" and kept badgering me with offers and discounts to get me to stay.
Someone needs to sue these jerks!
