The customer service has been very harsh and has not been helpful. They are rude and often end up giving wrong information to the clients. For eg. I dropped a cheque in one of their ATM in Bangalore and the amount was not deducted from the statement. When I checked with the customer service they told me that they don't pick up the cheques from the ATM. Immediately I issued a fresh cheque and made the payment but my previous cheque which the bank promised me that wont be picked up was also used. And when I call the bank they say that they cant help it. There were several other incidents like this.

I never applied for SBI Card. But it was dispatched to address one year ago. I never used it. Now they charged for Annual fees of Rs. 1323/- (with add on card). I mailed an official notice to close the credit card account, but they did not respond. How to stop this disturbance. Please advise.

I'm very much distressed with SBI card. SBI card offered me personal loan of amt 66000 with only processing fee and 1842 Rs emi for 4 years. But now in each statement they are charging service tax .

My second complaint is regarding super suraksha. I asked for its reversal many times but till date no reversal has been made .

Third, I reqested for statements at my res.address, but they are not following. However their offers related attractive but useless documents we are receiving at regular interval.
Kindly reply soon otherwise I' ll go to either a consumer court or a news channnel like awaaz

some of your franchise agents came to me and proposed to take credit card and they give option to join our insurance policy name i.e., 'SUPER SURAKSHA' AND THE instalments of this insurence paid through our sbi card. i agreed to this options and i applied for credit card through the franchise. I received the credit card in the year 2007 may. since i never used the credit cardand i paid the premiums personally. but your office sent a statement to me to pay 10,858 {tenthousand eightfifty eight }without furnishing the particulars . then i sent so many letters to your office for detailed statement moreover, i surrendered the credit card to your head office. but your officials harassed me by phone to pay the amount. I never utilised the credit card at any point of time. moreover i cannot purchased any items through your credit card. i belongs to the middleclass family. i cannot bear your officials harasment by phone.
hence is pray your officials kindly send me the detailed account copy and furnish all particulars. else i will suffer irreperable loss and damage. already i surrendered my credit card on 14.01.2008.

Pl. review my Credit card [protected] an statement due for which unnecessarily calls are coming aily wef 28 th Feb.I am very much aggrieved by sbi credit card costomer service who is not giving proper reply. Once again I would request pl confirm my payable amounts in detail and let me know the details depostied by me. our one cheque in Oct. 2008 which was dropped in drop box in Lko sectt. sbi drop box but that is not showing in my satement. It is very objectionable that our deposite EMI's are now showing in the st. Let me give in detail howmuch amount is due to pay me.
Pl. make sure your services be improved.

With lots of hope I planned to borrow a SBI credit card and I have taken 1.

I time I was delayed in paying the credit card bill due to some reason , the custor care excutive have started calling me to pay my bill, I told one date to pay the same but they continued makings calls. I day I have received 11 cals from their side. They started harrased me like this way. That time I planned to close my card and asked for settelment. I applied for the same for last 3 month but nothing happened but on the contrart the SBI people started threating me to lodge complaint.. this and that. It is so unfortunate.

Hello,

I regret to inform you my experience with SBI card. This is complete unprofessional.

From long time I was interacting with SBI card officiate for reversing the wrong entry and payment from my account and initially there was no response.

Suddenly, i have received on letter dated 7.7.07(Copy Attached herewith) from SBI about one time full and final settlement of Rs.4397.66/-. i was advised to pay this amount for closure of the case. I was also advised to withdraw all dispute in the case.

Accordingly, on 7.7.07 itself I have paid Rs.4398/- in cash (receipt is attached herewith).

Now the case is after the payment also I am receiving payment statement. I have contacted your local office in nashik and mentioned to them this concern. I got the answer saying that the office takes time to settle the account in the system and I need not to worry about this statement.

This month also I have received the statement including all late charges and tax payment.

I consider this as cheating to the customer. This is not acceptable.
I can't believe that your system takes one years time to get data updated.

I hereby advise you to stop sending payment statement as the matter is settled and closed.

If I receive next statement I will take the matter to the legal appropriate authority including police case putting specific names included in this dealing.

All copies are attached herewith for your ready reference. Pleas get back with immediate action and close the matter.

I am also facing same problem with SBI as i am not using this card since 6 months but they are debiting towards insurance charges every month with interest as i already told them that i do not want any insurance.

I shocked to learn SBI CARDS settlement cancel letter, I think this SBI cards find this way to earning money like that.
When I recd your settlement letter in march 2007 I was sure that SBI card is never ever think for his clients, but I trust yours Local executive officer and zonal officers meeting and talks, after Sbi cards got money 50,000 from me and cheating with me.
Till July to Jan 2007 I request many and many times to reverse I got only assurance and reverse promise letter from you instant of reversal.
Settlement letter of dated 13-02-2007 I received from SBI this letter on 23-03-2007.by hand,
I don’t now you terms and conditions, when I call on help line for this reply,you only look your payment there is no problem will face you.
because I am reputed and fair person I choose your settlement instant of legal fight
I am giving you details of settlement payment for your justice

You see I am paying by the time I can’t understand why I am fail in settlement if there is problem in point F, so I got notice from SBI cards representatives now we have local Accounts for clearing of your cheque. so your cheque will clear within one or two days. I maintain sufficient fund and I prove that. but some cheque on 07-08-2007 will clear before your cheque. unfortunate.
I request SBI cards just look my account all cheque are clear within one or two days the last cheque will present after long time.
Sir, payment systems SBI Cards is always not fair, many times calls from sbi cards that our server is down so give us post dated cheque and some times yours local agency failed, some time there local representative will change. time by times, there are many confusion in your call center.after I registerd do not call i recd Daily 8.30Am many and many re confirmation calls from sbi cards calls centers. many time misbehaving calls from sbi cards calls centers, there is no communication between there agencies. I am the person who punished from them systems. I have all the letters and records to prove you lots of mistake in my SBI account.
I think the SBI Cards finds short cut of Income,they are not interseted in thinking costumers faver.
In my meter I request you to kindly look after my account and guide what i do. still i am not recd N.O.C. of zero balance statement as per they promise.
If I not find justice from SBI Cards I will go for legal.

The big fact of the day... DON'T GO FOR ANY CREDIT CARD... IT IS PROVED AND IS A UNIVERSAL TRUTH NOW, AS YOU CAN SEE ALL THE LOGS ON THIS SITE... ONE DAY OR ANOTHER, IT IS GOING TO BE A BIG PAIN IN THE ###. BELIEVE ME YOU. I HAVE JUST LOST Rs. 30,000/- TO THESE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES. Debit card may still be OK. But one day it may also be like credit card. No guarantee. Regards.

I am a gold card member of SBI credit card with one add on in my spouses name since year 2000. Till last October I had minor or no problems by using my card globally. I did two transactions at Bangkok and my problems started. First I was told by your end that the card was being blocked due duplicacy at Bangkok. I agreed. But I requested to send me the statement of the two transaction as I felt whatever transactions I made, the charges were too high and the conversion rate was also wrong. although through ECS every thing was cleared within due date but I made several requests to customer care to send me the statement for October 2007, but to no avail. surprisingly I was told that I agreed to send the statements on my e-mail address for which in fact,I never had a word with anybody of sbi card people, and hence I was not sent any statement from October 2006. also I never recieved any statement on my e-mail. Making it bad to worst and most surprisingly I was debited Rs. 28000/-(app) in the month of December 2007 through ECS from my savings account whereas there was no transaction as such. I contacted customer care regarding the same, and the answer was shocking that nothing was debited. I had to rush personally to DLF Infinity towers, Gurgaon, taking a casual leave from my works and with all necessary documents to show and prove the debit. One Mr. Sunny came to see me at reception and promised me to solve the matter within 2 to3 days. When nothing moved till 20th Jan 2008, I once again contacted cusomer care, for which they demanded bank certificate of ECS. the same was faxed on 23rd Jan 2008. Again no response made me restless and given a call to customer care for all the above problems. Now again I have been promised and to wait for 15 days. I am in delema what to do. My impression about sbi cards getting bad to worst day by day. Now the matter is pending in REMS department...lets see when sbi card people come out with an opology and refund of the money so that I consider to continue the same credit card or surrender it. The ball is in your court pals.

I`ve purchad a Ticket for Air Deccan on 2nd July 07 for Rs:3499.00 . through Clear Trip.com . Inthe Statement provided by the SBI, I noticed that there were two transactionfor the same amount .Immediatly I called the SBI Customer care , and they said that I need to fill a Disput Form and I did the same . It was sent by Post , courior and by email. I`ve made one of the payment on time as one of them was valid. I`ve made numerious calls to the customer care but they had no updated till Dec 15th. Finally I started getting call from Collection Agent. Than i got a reply on Dec 07 that the merchant bank was not ready to clear the same as it is too late.
I made calls and submitted the disput form well on time for them to take action . Each time I called the customer care told me that my complain is transfered to the disput dept.
Does it really take so long to work on the disput transection. its more than 6 month today and SBI is still working on my disput. I dont know what step should i take next. If u have any suggestion than please help.

I had got one airtel mobile card a few days ago having no. [protected] .Further when i came to know that the bill amt. for the above mentioned card will be deducted directly from my sbi card i deactivated the same card. hence i request u to not to deduct any amt. for the mobile card without my consent or my knowledge.

SBI Card is the Worst Service giving card. My self having many bad experiance with this card. Now i cancelled the card, after i cancelled the card am getting the bill in proper time, prviously i never received any statement.

And now they are telling some pending is there, i closed the card 7months back.

I have using SBI card for the last one year. I am holding an ICICI gold card for the Last three years with correct payment record which can be verified in CIBIL. I had very bitter experience by using SBI card from the first payment.

1.The first cheque dropped by me in the drop box of SBI card at palarivattom branch at Kochi was not recieved by SBI and the telecallers were using vulgur conversations by calling me and in my residence landline and saying that I have not dropped the cheque.
2.The cheque for Rs.3000 given against the minimum due of Rs.1214 was not able to be presented by SBI as the instrument was not signed and for the same I was charged Rs.918 by various breakups.
3. I have recieved a statement in January 2008 that I had drawn Rs.10000 in November 2007 and due to the same my credit card is suspended. The statement recieved in November and December does not show this transaction.
4.As per my records I have correctly paid all dues up to date till the last statement of December 2007 and now I have recieved letter that as an NPA customer my card has been suspended.

Now I have decided to move legally agaist SBI

Sir, This is reg the out standing pending amount as per ur Sms dated 07-12-2007, & ur monthly statement bill dated 4 th Jan o8, A/C number [protected].
1. Ur SMS on the above date shows & conveys the balance as Rs 8846.47 /. And I have remitted by cheque dt 12 -12-07 cheque number 056387 of SBI salem Dadagapatty branch Rs 1000/ .

2. Your monthly statement which has been received by me on the above mentioned date shows that there is still a balance Rs 10, 605.19.
Kindly enlighten on this difference, both by mail & by SMS.

I have paid all my dues for SBICredit Card on 29th Dec, 07 by cheque o. 507503 Rs. 750/-. But unfortunaely total outstanding bill of Rs. 454.70 is raised against me. Further, some plan by name protection plus insurance is offered & charged in my card for which I have not enrolled. I dont want this card. On callin toll free no. no action is taken.

i have been using the card for past 5 years. Of late i find many charges are thrust on consumer on various counts,cheating the public in the name of indias largest bank. For a card using national bank this type of chaeting is not fair. Every now and then account is debited for some protection plus insurance, or call for availing a loan or some suer suraksha. I am the vicrim of one such call of super suraksha. i am ending paying penalities for wrong information from the help desk . i am waiting for a suitable reply from sbicard and insurance ombudsman aswell.

dear sir,
i am card holde no.[protected] of sbi.i make payment regulaly,in this regard i dropped a cheque amounting rs.4000. after 10 days of dropping cheque recieved call from sbi that payment has not been recieved by them and told me to deposit a minimum amount due.i deposit rs.2000 and ask them to tell me the fate already dropped cheque of rs. 4000.

to my surprise,when i recieved monthly statement dated 25.dec.2007 no such entries were recorded and instead of two unauthorized entries of rs.337.08 and 439.54 were reflected. therefore,i made call to customer care at 2:45 pm today. one sarabjeet kaur attented the call very uncurtiously. i request u to reverse these entries and send this customer care attendent to staff training school how to deal with customers curtiously

Dear Sir/Madam,

My SBI Credit Card Account no is: xxxx xxxx xxxx 7661

I am holding SBI credit card. The call center executing called and gave wrong figure of my outstanding amount. However without crosschecking i made the payment to avoid late payment. later when i called the call center i came to know that i have paid Rs.3,000 /- extra again my outstanding amount since last three months.

In the last month statement of 3rd Jan 2008 still your are charging to me Late Payment fee of Rs.423.22 & Finance Charges of Rs.636.06 & 196.13 & 21.64.

I am giving payment regularly to you & I submitted cheque payment of Rs.5111.00 dated 22nd Dec 07 & Rs1500.00 dated 23rd Nov 2007.

Despite of regular giving minimum payment your bank is charging me regular Late Payment fee of Rs.460.53 & Finance Charges of Rs.216.04 & 327.92.

Your customer care repetitive accepted my point and he told this mistake happened in SBI card.

So I don’t want SBI card.

Last 4 yrs, I am using my ICICI credit card.I didn’t face any problem with ICICI still now.

I am using SBI card from past four year. They have a very bad rappo as well as very bad service. Nobody cares in the call center. Can anyone tell me when they are going to start the net login system? It used to work before 6-8 months but after that i dont know what happened? The site always hangs up just like the call center executives...

If this type of regular late payment is charging by you then I want to close my account with you if you cannot reverse Late Fee & Interest & service tax on it.

I found lots of time in my statement Late Charges due to mistake done by your end banking structure.

Pls do the needful in this case.

I had SBI Credit Card since 3 years back, due to some overdue they didnot issue further card - so I have at present no SBI Credit Card, inestad of that I am regularly paying their minimum dues everymonth till date. As a result, the amount which I have utilised from the Card, I have paid to them 10 to 15 times till date. I had talked several times with Customer Care and informed this matter but they didnot care me and asked me to pay regularly. I need advise from expert/welwisher what shall I do ? I do agree with all the above complaints. I hold SBI credit card. Even though I have not used the once but still I am receiving the bills. This information was discusses till Delhi branch, but still the result is same. They have provide me the card which is life time free then aslo asking for annual fees. I contact customer care, they forwerd my request. but in the next month i received fees with interest statement. That is useless. I have decided to take legal action on this case.

I have received my SBI credit card before 3 months ago. MY CREDIT CARD no. is [protected] . The problem is, I have not received my PIN number. I have already made six complaints in customer care. My last complaint mas made at 14tgh of November 2007.

SBI credit card has very very poor service and cheating their customers I on three occasions sent the cheques were never credit to my account for obvious reason of charging me the late fee and the interest on my outstanding. And they have a racket of correcting cheque services and they charge 55 Rupees for collection of cheques. Once I tried that also and found that only 500 rupees out of 3000 rupees given to the representative. Not only this when I went to their drop box at New rajender Nagar ATM to clear my outstanding amount. I was advised by the security guard that this box is good for nothing already theft are taking place and some stole camera installed there too. BE CAREFUL with SBI credit cards.

But the current bills introdueced the late payment fee and this time we have also paid for Rs. 4000.00 vide our cheque no. 376920. So pls wave off the late payment fee on my two bills and confirm to me.

Worst service from SBI, I am holding lot of other credit cards with SBI. I was getting calls from SBI executives and asking free balance transfer for 6 months. One day I said transfer to my other credit card amount is 36000/-, they send the check immediately. Before 6 months I got the chance to go abroad, and dropped the Check in SBI credit card collection Box.After 6 months I got the mail from SBI, your debits are around 44000/- you have to pay, since that time I didn't check my savings account, I thought its debited from my account. I sent the reply I dropped the check , didn't check my account since long time, I have to call and find my account. In my account doesn't have any debited, then I said Its not my mistake, I dropped the check u guys mistake, its happened same situation earlier also and cleared the things ,but now I will pay original amount give me the confirmation mail, they are talking very goodly , then I said, when ever I will receive the mail for confirmation then only I will pay. After that I haven't receive the mail, I called so many times, its very hectic to connect SBI customer care and some times their executives says, they dont have control.

Since 2 months I am waiting for their mail...

I want to redeem my points of rewards of SBI cards but I am not finding any list of things available as per the rewards earned which on phone I was told to refer and inform by phone and take the reward prize. Will please give me detail on my Email address : milind_arsekar@yahoo.co.in

HI EVERYONE I AM VICTIM OF THIS CREDIT CARD LANDED UP PAYING DUES ALL OVER MY LIFE BUT NOT ABLE TO SAVE MONEY FOR MY FUTURE. HENCE DECIDED TO THROW ALL THE CC BY MAKING SETTLEMENTS, CAN ANYONE HELP ME OR SUGGEST ME HOW TO MAKE A SBI CC SETTLEMENT. IT WILL BE HELPFUL AND I WOULD APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE COULD GIVE ME THE INFORMATION.
