Save-A-Lot employees/customer service

I just moved here about two weeks ago and I have now had a couple different incidents at this particular store, which I am not impressed. Two days I've came in, the cashier is on her phone very obviously and doesn't put it away until the second I am putting my items on the belt to be rung up. Also, tonight I went in and got a couple things and was in my car by 7:45, yet I had a very rude employee complaining about me coming in so close to closing time... I was out 15 minutes before it was time to close. Also, her and another worker thought it was funny so they giggled about what rude comment she had said. This store needs more respectful and mature employees. Not how you welcome someone to a new town.. I will not be going back, thanks to the employees. The girls seemed about my age, but didn't act like it.

Save-A-Lot french baguette

Bought a package of Baguettes from the store to eat and when we opened it, it was already moldy. This is the second time I have had this happen with bread from Save-A-Lot.
Will be taking back to the store, however this is not the first time I have dealt with foods that have gone bad in just a day or two of purchasing from your company.

Save-A-Lot store at 234-250 mcmechen st. baltimore md

This store has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. Everyone in the store is rude including the management. They are mean to customers and do not answer questions when asked. No one at the register greets customers and there are always signs telling you the services that are not available i.e.no cash back. The store rarely opens on time and (it is closed now at 8:15 AM) I have heard the employees openly ridiculing the customers for patronizing the store. One of the managers, a tall thin male, is so unfriendly that he exudes open hostility towards the customers. I could go on and on. The store borders one of the city's most affluent areas, Bolton Hill, and frankly given the tax revenue which this neighborhood provides to the city, we deserve a higher level of service from a store patronized by rich and poor alike.

Save-A-Lot rotten food

I went grocery shopping at the save a lot in stow Ohio and when I got home the bag of potatoes I bought were slimy and stunk real bad took them back the next day and exchanged them. Then I bought a green green pepper that got mold on it in less then a week and the hot dog buns I bought were hard. That makes me not want to go back to any save a lots knowing that their products can get that gross so fast

Save-A-Lot store cleanliness

Store #367 store needs to be shut down its filthy trash all over the floor food on the floor leaks in the ceiling it's a total wreck wen u wall in feels like u walking in a pig Stein I do not feel comfortable and will never shop here again u can barely get down the cold section aisle with stuff all in the way. Im really thinking about calling the board of healthnon this store because if the store is not keep up it makes u think about the products that are being sold out this store

Save-A-Lot customer service

Store # 186 at 18:90:40 Manager "Mike. While shopping I needed assistance in finding a product "Flour Tortillas" which was on an end cap by the meat dept. Specifically, a package that was on sale for .99. About 8 feet away a employee was strolling by (wearing kaki) I ask if he could help me. He responded with what., I pointed to a specific label on the shelf and I stated " I can't find it". He refused to come over and view the label or see what I wanted. Reluctantly he finally approached the shelf and couldn't find it himself response "I cant find it either", and walks away. I ask the cashier at checkout and who the individual was and he stated the Manager "Mike". If that is the Managers Customer Service maybe retraining is required.

Save-A-Lot tipton grove fruit cocktail in extra light syrup

I open a can of Tipton Grove fruit cocktail to have a snack and I got a big surprise inside some type of meat and it looks very gross and disgusted I could not have imagined meat eating this prior to me seeing this what looks like me in a can of fruit how does these things happen when canning and prepare food for people to eat meat should be nowhere near fruits and vegetables

Save-A-Lot morning delight buttermilk biscuits

We were making dinner and my daughter complained who was helping said that there was something hard and sharp in her uncooked biscuit dough. After further inspection about half of the dough had hard shards of what looks to be plastic in it. We checked the ones that were already cooking and they also had pieces of sharp plastic in them. I'm very upset my family that has several younger kids in it about ate these and possibly choked on them. I did take pictures of the packaging and also video of the shards being found

Just picked up a Morning Delights Buttermilk Biscuit can a couple of weeks ago and cracked open the tube and noticed something like a hair on a biscuit. Looked closer and sure enough it was blonde and I pulled on it and it came right out of the dough. Ew... Not cool. The quality and control procedures at companies is becoming non-existent. How could a hair get into a batter mix? Seems to me the "blonde" didn't like covering up her hair and the company let her get away with it?

Lately we have been finding hair in other food products too. From now on, I will drag out the old digital camera and start snapping this stuff.

Save-A-Lot store manager @ 6599 n. oak trafficway, kcmo store is very rude!

Hello, I am writing regarding the attitude & comments made by the store manager at the Save-A-Lot store at 6599 N. Oak Trafficway, KCMO. On 4-1-17 I had written a check for my purchases, and handed it to the cashier, who was wearing a name badge that said "store manager". At first he had trouble getting my check to go through his machine, and then loudly stated that I should be using plastic, instead of checks, as checks are a thing of past. I was very embarrassed as the customers behind me heard his comments, & one of them told me that he prefers to use cash.
I was very surprised by the comment, especially coming from a store manager, who made the comment to me in disgust.
I have never had any problems with my checks at other stores, & I have been shopping at this store for the last four years, & I now feel they do not value my business, especially if I write a check. I would like to return to this store as it's reasonable & convenient, but I feel too humiliated. Is it tolerable for Save-A-Lot management to talk down to their customers? Deanna W., N. Save-A-Lot savings and price - banquet fried chicken

I bought a package of chicken at save a lot on 1/7/17 in Plattsburgh NY for $6.79 and the box says Now Bigger! I get is home and all that is my box are 6 small drumsticks .No breast No thighs No wings Just drum sticks that's not bigger and defiantly not worth $6.79 for the box it claims to be 29oz but that is not possible for the pieces of chicken that were in the box .I used my home food digital scales and it was 19.5 oz of food in the box . The bottom of the box in the right hand corner the box says in small print average breast 9.37 oz vs previous 8.13oz and drumsticks 4.9 oz vs previous 2.96oz I would appreciate a refund and coupons for future purchases my family enjoys this product but not this time . The numbers on the box and the best by date are [protected]:44 j24 best if used by Oct 19 2017

Save-A-Lot christine johnson

I sighned up for netspend overdraft protection July 27 2015 I only used it once since then I have received my ssi check for $543.00 I used the ATM machine twice to withdraw after that I just swiped the card everytime I used it my first withdraw was for $10 the second was for $320.00 each fee was for $2.25 after that I used $88.00 at family dollar and another $50.00 at save a lot after that I never used the card until maybe 5 days later for the overdraft protection but it said my account was negative not only should I be able to use my overdraft protection money it should be at $50.00 on my card along with my $80.00 but as I said my account is negative I never authorized j&s food mart and I only used $50.00 at save a lot I need for netspend to refund the amount I didn't authorize because the money is from ssi for my 3 yr old daughter please dispute whatever the amount that I DID NOT AUTHORIZE

store manager is very rude and i truly feel he is prejudice and i feel he doesn't treat his black customers the same as he does his whites. he was very rude but nice to the white customers and i was thinking of calling NAACP on the company because the way he treats his black customers is on called for and he doesn't talk to his black employees properly either even though there is only 2.black peoples work there so I'm wondering do you guys even hire blacks but i am going to make a call to the NAACP i really feel i should take this matter further than you.
