Recently, I received an ad from these folks (www.SatelliteSales.com) offering "Free 4-room system installed...$19.99 for over 80 channels...Free Dual-DVR upgrade... Free Showtime (for 3 months)..."

I called, but was told that my credit "was not approved" and I must pay a large deposit for the four free rooms.

Then they offered to check someone else's credit - anyone else's credit. On a hunch, I gave them my mother's info. She has a Platinum Amex card, with a perfect credit rating and a limit so high we have never found it. Her credit was not approved either.

I believe - but I can't prove it - that they may be phishing for credit card numbers.

Although I did NOT order the service, these people charged my card $149 and sent a guy over this morning to install ONE room. When I called to inquire, I was offered more rooms if I gave them a bigger deposit.

I asked them to revers the charges immediately, and they told me it would take 10 days.

I had a similar experience with Satellite Sales aka Elephat Group. I had ordered a standard system 1 room installation no DVR , no E-Club.

When the installers came to my Wilmington DE home, they installed a Dual DVR and said it would cost me an extra $99.00 which I did not have.

To make matters worse when I got my first bill I was slammed with E-Club charges which I did not want.

I called the 888 # they gave me only to be told to call a different 800 #. I told the girl I think her names was Jesse to cancel my account, she said no problem.

Well anyway I kept getting bills for 2 more months. I finally called back and was told there would be a disconnect fee of $240.00 for a service I did not want.

What a rip!

I have an ongoing battle with my credit card company and DishNetwork to get these charges credited. I still have not resolved this issue several months later. I still have the equipment and I am being charged for a service that never worked to begin with.

I am very dissatisfied with the service Satellites Sales has provided.
