This post is for anyone who choose to travel with Sara international travel. whatever you do or how ever you do your hajj or Umrah PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT use this company. I am only saying this because my brother and mother use this company and they did not get the service that they paid for. They paid for a five star hotel but was in a 0 star hotel. My family said they where better off sleeping on the street then to spend a night in that hotel. Muhammad Sattaur the leader of the group was suppose to help complete there hajj and supervise everyone on the steps of making hajj but everyone was on their own and had no clue on what to do and no id cards. Muhammad Sattaur was suppose to give each person in the group a ID card so they do not get lost but they were not given out until the end of hajj. My mother and my brother was lost in mecca because of them. my mother n brother had to ask other people for help. They do not care about you or your hajj. All they care about is the $6, 000.00 fee.one the traveler asked Muhammad Sattaur the group leader that some of his things where missing when got to mecca. Muhammad Sattaur The group leader told him you are lucky that we even got you this far. like as if he was doing him a favor or as if he brought him here for free. Everybody paid their own hard earn money to go make hajj not to be treated like that no way.And they call them self Muslims. More like crooks to me. Because if you were Muslim and you care about about the people making hajj and not trying to worry about how put the most money in your pocket . They do not care about you this only a business to them . PLAIN AND SIMPLE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR HAJJ. SO IF ANYONE IS PLANING TO GO MAKE HAJJ PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
We booked our Umrah trip with Sara International in November. Had the initial conversation with brother Zameer and was impressed with his knowledge and expertise.
However, all that changed once we landed in Medina. The accommodations were really terrible! We were given a tiny room with 4 beds, a tiny bathroom which had sewer like odor and moldy shower.
I sent pictures and multiple texts to brother Zameer and their ground staff and they did nothing. It’s like they take you there and dump you and don’t care anymore.
Ground staff is immature, untrained and ignorant. There is no one there with authority to help you with problems. In Mecca it was another disaster. They promised us rooms in Clock tower in front of Haram which overnight changed to Doubletree hotel which is further off and you have to take shuttle bus to the Haram. I had invited my mother to join me for Umrah and she had mobility issues. She struggled taking the shuttle bus as the steps are tall and it was very upsetting to put her through the stress and suffering.
When I complained, their staff laughed at me like I was lying and didn’t do anything to help, even had to nag them for a wheelchair. This company does switch and bait policy, they promise you the moon and then once they have your money, they abandon you.
We were not given day to day itineraries even after requesting multiple times and were not allowed to bring back ZamZam as they had booked us under tourist visas instead of Umrah visas. They then claimed they didn’t know of this rule, what a joke!.
When I called their NY office after my trip, there was a standard response "We are so sorry for the inconvenience.." They are imposters, don’t trust anything they say. Pay a little more and go with a more renowned company like DaresSalaam or book the trip on your own, it’s better to be in charge of your trip than to depend on these jerks.
Imam Zameer is very good at sweet talking you with his marketing skills. But once he gets your account he hands it over to staff and disappears. I will not recommend Sara International to anyone. We were very patient with them but it’s better to let others know of our experience so no one else gets scammed. Beware!
My wife and i went to Hajj with Sara International in 2011 ... this is our experience with this agency
Sara international is awful company to go to hajj with ... their mgmt is all about making money .. they will plan hundreds of Hajjis, with not enough space in the tents ...
their travel guides are not experienced at all + do NOT speak Arabic + do not really care about the hajjis
their imam .. imam Zameer skipped both Zuhr and Asr in front of us ... and Allah (Subhanahu wa t'aalaa) is our witness ... if you dont believe me, when you go visit their office, ask that you pray Jammah with the imam .. and you will see how fast he prays!
Oh and even worse, is this imam, imam Zameer seems to be OK with Sufi practices ... if you think i am making it up, look up his profile on facebook .. and you will see from his posts that he is, at least, OK with Sufi practices .. which are deviant from Islam
Many people were lost, because they did not get proper guidance through the hajj steps .. so, if you still decide to go with them, make sure that you know Hajj inside out, because no one will help you there
on top of everything, they are not cheap at all
with many hajj options around, i dont know of anyone with their right mind who will choose this agency
may Allah (Subhanahu wa t'aalaa) guide them back to the Quran and the Sunnah ... and guide them back to respecting people's most important journey in their lifetimes as this is an Amaanah on them .. Ameen.
very true they are just liars the worst Agency is sara international Zameer call him self muslim but shame on him to call him self muslim
I don't who is writing good reviews about this company, it must be the staff writing so many good reviews to offset the bad ones.
This company represented by Zameer is all based on cheating, stealing, and making false promises under the umbrella of Islam and Haj.
It was a nightmare they cut short our hotel stay to transfer us to their 4 star hotel in Azizieh, and what a chock to find out that that place is not even good as a barn. it is a health disaster, worst location, spoiled food, no assistance, no praying area, no transportation and the list goes on.
praying area was in the basement where they stored our luggage for both men and women and no A.C., We all got sick, 5-6 people in 11x11 room, no where to move around, food was served and prepared by a group of teenagers according to Sara and Saudie cleaning standards, lots of people got sick of food.
Mena tents were crowded they couldn't spare a couple of seats so people can move around instead of stepping on each other, A.c not working in tent, food were left outside in the heat until serving time.
we starved ourselves in Mena to avoid getting sick, no transportation, they would ask us to line up in the heat waiting for a bus for hours only to send us back to tents, we had to arrange for our own transportation, average price was $10000 per person, no wonder how Mr. Zameer can afford his castle in New York, and extravaganza son wedding. I pray to God not to ever forgive him.
Sara travel is one of the worst Haj agencies ever, we paid $10000 for azzizieh package. We were promised a 4 star hotel and what we ended up in is a rundown building in the worst area where other countries paid tenth of what we paid with 5-6 people in a small room with one small bath, no room to even walk, we had to clean our rooms, food was so bad and spoiled and not enough that caused a huge strike against management,
No one was around from management we all were on our own. Basement with a broken AC was used as luggage storage, praying area for both men and women and a sleeping area for their teenage workers who were in charge of things.
Our stay in Madina was cut short by one day same with our stay at the Hyatt.
They are all about money ( crooks) when you call to make reservations they make it sound so nice until you get to Mecca. Zameer has good ties with Saudi government and no one cares about what hujaj go through.
Funny - Hajj 2016, I asked before booking, there was no Azizia option. This all seems like someone with no real experience and a grudge. Personal attacks and claims. Hajj 1437 was an excellent and well organized experience, many others I know had the same experience. Perhaps instead of anonymously posting, you should call the company and let them answer you.
This person is saying my family, he is not even a Hajji. The complaint seems rubbish, and slanted. 0 Star? Seriously

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank sara travel and your
team for successfully managing our Hajj. Alhamdullilah it was great and enlightening
experience and we highly appreciate your management and coordination througout, and that's
why were able to put full attention and concentration to Hajj and Ibadah instead of dealing
with day to day issues.
We set off with low expectations as we had heard stories from people about the hardships
and troubles they had faced, but Alhamdulillah we returned back happy and very satisfied
and have all the good things to tell others. Please also covey our special thanks to our
group leader Qari Yusuf Mulla, Safraz Latif and many others that I only remeber them by
face for their great help and support. I want to highlight that most prominent attribute of
these people was that they listened to Hajis, responded with kindness and made sincere
effort to help them out. Half of the woes goes away just by talking to them, this is
true customer service and great example to follow, they have earned Duas of Hajis and Insha-Aallah their reward is with Allah.
