Santander Consumer USA - late charges

Santander said that by me being later I am going be charge 12.95 every 10 days this not in my contract I suppose to be charge one flat late charge 12.95 not 12.95 a day my original loan was with citifinancial my car if due for payoff 10 /2013 now it toward the end and they are trying to charge me extra money please help me

Tammy you should join in on the lawsuit, their are over 80 lawsuits out there now. A lawyer in Alabama has a "Class Action" Lawsuit going, you should join in. I have my lawyer but I am joining this one too.

I agree with you "Late Charges" This Tasha12 person works for the company. I had dealer to pay the company off because the loan maturity date is 5/13/2013, but they claim I owen additional 22 months due to their fees. They would not send me documentation of their fees and what I was being charged. I had $2, 300 left on the loan and the deal sent them a check they said I need an additional $6, 000. There are over 400 complaints of people saying the say thing. It is time to shut the company down. My and attorney and I are currently fighing to do so.
