Sansui Colour TV / Waste of money

Hi, this is jaynandan prasad from mumbai, India and i don't know how i decided to buy sansui color television. Some problem has occurred with my tv within three years of purchase. I made complaint to my dealer thats sumaria electronics, mumbai. No mechanic visited for 15 days to repair the tv as it is still under warranty. Then i made a complaint to sansui service centre but to my utter surprise no body came for another 15 days together. Then i decided to contacted the mumbai regional manager for complaint but he dint pickd the call thats mr swapnil and anil gupta. Still my tv has the same problem and planning to get it repair locally. I like to advise all my friends dont repeat dont purchase sansui tv u will waste ur money as i have wasted. No head office website i cud find and now i am planning to go to consumer court.

    Hi, i am Biswajit Banerjee from Paradip Orissa. I completely dis agree with Mr. Prasad of Mumbai.I have purchased one 21" Sansui Colour TV while at Panipat (Haryana ) during Sept 1997. Touch wood till date the performance of the TV is really excellent. The TV is having good picture and sound quality. I understand that this is worth purchasing. Compare to any leading available brand my TV has comparatively good performance.

    Purchased on-21-04-2002. Warranty for 7 years. Many times repaired from15-11-05 to 15-05-06. Worked for 5 months. Trouble started again on 24-10-06. This way it will be repaired on & often. Once warranty period is over it will not be repaired. Don't buy Sansui Colour TVs.

    We bought sansui tv on 31.10.2000. model sv 2110 for this tv, we got 7 years warranty. We serviced many times . Till date that complaints are cleared properly. And also the service s not good. We serviced many times. But we couldn't get any service reports from them. And also the got sign in empty reports. Now the tv again have problems. We gave complaint on 25.01.2007 till date that problem not rectified. All this happen in warranty period.

    Really this tv totally waste.

    I agree. I'am aslo facing same problem with 21' color tv. i purchased from PCH e ZONE hyderabad, date is 29/11/2002. Last 6 moths onwards iam getting problem, I complained to custmoer care center, but no one turned up.

    Im purchased sasui colour tv in 2004 aug everytime ihave so many problems now im facing bad picture.

    I am Vinod Purchased Coulour TV Sansui Model CINE GOLD SL No. HE/H /67/1349 from Kanpur Dealer Lotus Electronics I agree I have wasted money could have purchase another brand since I have purchsed TV I could not get rid of problems machanic does not response results TV is like a show piece in my drawing room no one is there to attend the complain and altimately deceided to go to consumer court to get my money back .
    I will also sugest every one not to look / even thik of buying SANSUI TV .

    we purchased a sansui colour television 29 inches, 3 years before still the warranty is remaining and t.v. encountered a problem and we called custmor servicefor repair till now there is no proper service i s reported and it is almost 15 days over every day we are calling and answer our technician will come and repair with in 24 hours and still now there is no action taken place, and merely wasting our moneyon telephone calls, being international brand cant u keep ur reputation atleast instead of cheeting the customers trust and money . extremely bad and poor customer services iwould seriously recommened to rethink 1000 times before purchasing a sansui product to poor customers. god only knows that in hyderabad if there is customer service for sansui it should look into the matter report concern our complaint is regitered in g.d.k.prakash rao name

    i had purchased sansui hard rock tv from shubham electronics D-29, KALPATARU STATION ROAD UMBERGAON 396165 DIST VALSAD GUJARAT TEL NO. 0260-2563811, 3290283 while on the tv went off the people from stores were complaint for the same & ordered them to look into the matter but instead replacing the product they are try to repairs the fault & give me defective item model no. CTVHARDROACK22-ISX bearing serial no.. 761007010224800264.

    i want the item to be replaced as i thing the item is defective & the warranty period on last stage where there is less time for replacementr after repairs done & handed defective item.

    pl look into the matter.

    I agree with the complaints made in this board by various unsatisfied customers of sansui T.V.The company provides very substandard parts and the problem with in two years. I purchased Sansui FU-21 in the year 2004 with a warranty for 7 years. Very next year in 2005 there was a problem and a part LOT was changed at my cost Rs.750.After that the T.V.was functioning well for a year and again started giving trouble with bad quality of picture.I adjusted myself blaming the cable signals.But recently I was getting only colour lines on the screen.When I made a complaint after 5 days a technician visited, opened the TV, kept on soldering various circuit points for 2 hours and finally not suceeded in rectifying the problem and he couldnt even locate where the problems is. He was technically incompetent and asked me to spare the TV with him for 5 days .He didnt carry any SANSUIs service station ID.card or any authorization letter with him.When I called a technician from the near by place just by seeing the lines on the screen he could make it that the problem was with I.C. When I tried to purchase the spare part in Secunderabad, the so called franchised service provider refused to sell the spare part and demands that only his service centre could attend any problem with the TV with his incompetent technicians. There are so many such customers who have been cheated by the company.The 7 years warranty is also fake and once if we go through the terms at the back side of the warranty card, the customers will understand how much deceptive it is .The SANSUI spends a lot of money on advertisements with bollywood and cricketing celebrities, but have no time to attend the customers pleas and complaints.That really shows the culture of the company.The after sales service and the parts of the TV are very substandard and think before when ever you want to purchase a T.V.Ensure that after sales service are good and always enquire your friends and do a survey before you invest your hard earned money on such gadgets.

    The complaint of about mr. jaynandan placed here, in my case is also the similar problem of mr. jaynandan's complaint. I have purchased a sansui 2k2 tv before 4 years, but I am facing lots of problems about that tv day-to-day. Now I am thinking how am I planned to purchased the sansui colour tv (2k2) it was ridicules happened. Lastly I got the colour problem of the tv. What should I do, I think, "I fell the cheating by SANSUI TV.
