San Jude's Bridal reviews and complaints

Thanks to San Jude's Bridal my experience in purchasing and altering my wedding gown was a pure delight. I really liked the fact that they have hand-written testimonials in their store from hundreds of clients which made me feel very confident. They even allowed me to contact some former clients to get a referral about their services, which is something I appreciate before plunking down thousand dollars for a dress! Not only did their designer alter and customize my dress to my desire but she also altered another dress to fit me perfectly. She was completely accommodating and beyond helpful. I will recommend San Jude's Bridal to anyone getting getting married or simply requiring alterations, they did a fantastic job.

You might as well take the money you have for your wedding dress and flush it down the toilet if you are going to use SAN JUDE'S BRIDAL.

These people are the absolute ### of society. They will lie to you and steal your money. DO NOT GO HERE! They visit this complaint board and add positive feedback under each negative comment so that people do not know what to believe. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Rose, you are dishonest woman. . . I do not know how you can sleep at night knowing you have stolen from hardworking people who trusted you with something as precious as their wedding dress.You ruined my wedding dress the day before my wedding. . . you don't deserve another ounce of business. I will NEVER stop badmouthing your company name and trying to expose you for what you are. . . .

All Brides and Mother of the Brides listen up this is a despicable story and it is true, it happened to my daughter five days ago.

I have carefully documented pictures and video to support my claims.
I want to do what ever I can to raise awareness about San Jude's dishonest business tactics.

Here is our Story:

I can not even express the horror of arriving with my daughter to pick up her wedding dress and Sa Jude’s had completely botched the simple alteration. We did not buy the dress from them but took it to them to alter thinking we needed a professional to take in 1/2 an inch the charge for the alteration was $300.00 The stitching was akin to that of a grade nine sewing class.

We had been for two fittings and the work had not been completed but we were assured that it would be done. . .it wasn't. The end result was we had to leave with the dress since, we had no choice it was the day before her wedding. I sat at my dining room table with shaking hands attempting to repair a beautiful dress that had been perfect but was no longer after this alteration. As well there was blood on the dress where the so called seamstress had [censored]ed a finger and bled all over the inner layers.

These people have literally ruined hundreds of wedding gowns and simply can not sew. They display the dresses beautifully and it's easy to be sucked into the wolf in sheep's clothing way of Rose. . . but after she has your money she does not care at all about what happens to it. As the mother of the bride it was all I could do to hold in my utter frustration at this impossible stubborn, thoughtless woman and this situation. We were completely at her mercy with no way out since it was too close to the day. Save yourself grief and do not ever consider going with this business. We had looked at their web site and the many positive reviews that I am now convinced they write themselves. We have since researched them in depth and have found hundreds of sad despicable reviews about their dishonest business practices.

There are two men who greet you at the door and take the bride up to a bedroom to change into her gown. I thought that was very creepy from the start. These men have criminal records according to the Toronto star article of May 2010 we have since learned. I don't know how this woman can sleep at night knowing that she has stolen money from young people and families in her very neighbourhood.

San Jude's Bridal really saved the day for me! I am in my cousins wedding and another bridal place where we bought the bridesmaids dresses from really screwed up the alterations. A few of the girls who live in Ajax, took our dresses in to San Jude's Bridal and they had the dresses altered and fitting perfectly for us in two days! A big THANK YOU to San Jude's Bridal! you guys are great! I came to this site to complain about the other store and thought I should instead take the time to write a compliment to San Jude's Bridal for helping us out. It turned out fine and I now know where to go for my wedding gown! I figured its better Karma!

I bought my dress and bridesmaids dresses here and my mom got her dress here too. My experience was awesome, they are so patient with their clients and gave me all the time and attention I could wish for. I didn't see the great selection and service that they gave me in any of the stores I went to. My friend who recommended that I go to them has got a huge thank you from me. Some brides I think get a little loopy when it comes to weddings, I wholeheartedly recommend San Jude's. My dress was perfect and all my girls and my Mom were pleased as well.
