Samsung installation

We purchased a samsung split-type airconditioner for our home office. They were fast in delivering the unit but their after sale service is very poor. After only 30 days of purchase the unit stopped working displaying an error code e2 03 on the indoor monitor unit. Their sub-contracted maintainance provider do not have technicians on duty during weekends (As their website claim they have) so we had to wait until monday for a visit schedule. It's been more than a week and until now, they couldn't figure out what's wrong with it.

After persistent calls, no one has come back yet to replace or repair it. Their head office customer service hotline just keeps on ringing, for a long 15 minutes until u just give up! They also have this habit of calling at the end of office hours just to say they are still waiting for feedback from korea to determine what's wrong with the unit. The error code e2 03 is not listed in their repair manual. I demanded a replacement but nobody is taking it seriously. I even suggested that perhaps they should pull out the unit so they can examine it at their liberty and just replace what they've initially installed.

I was told the official technician from samsung assigned in manila is on sick leave and we were told there are only 2 of them covering nationwide! How is that possible that you only have 2 official technicians to cover an entire country?!? Unbelievable!

We also called the shop where we bought the unit but they too has to wait for another unit from samsung. They also advised us we should not be too nice in talking to samsung agents and threat to sue or talk to the boss of samsung (Which is sooo hard to reach because they don't give their direct numbers) otherwise they wouldn't take u seriously.

They will make u feel you owe them to wait and just follow whatever they tell you.

Really pathetic service! I already filed a complaint to the department of trade and industry and demand for a refund if they couldn't fix or replace it.

I've always been a fan of samsung. We also have a tv and an entertainment system that's why we bought this air conditioner. Had I known this would happen, i'd rather spend a little more money for another brand. Now I fear for our other samsung appliances if they break down. Same old pathetic service i'm sure!

As of press time, we are still waiting for feedback from samsung technicians when they would report for work to attend to our problem.

Let our experience be a lesson to everyone.

My window type samsung air - conditioner is probably the most rotten air - conditioner in the world. . . And samsung service in the philippines is probably the most rotten in the world too! On top of this, the samsung philippines management is probably the most rotten in the world too!

My air - conditioner started to rust in just 3 months, same time as the remote controller starting malfunctioning. In just 6 months, the air - swing stopped working and in 10 month the samsung air - con unit started to give poor cooling performance. In about 24 months, the control panel stopped working and the climate control was stucked at 26 deg. C.

I called samsung for service, and you won't believe that such lousy service still exists in these days!

To make a long story short, samsung service sent incompetent technicians who made wrong diagnosis: mainboard is dead, i complained: why such a short service life? Adding to my horror: they don't have the parts and they have to order abroad! When it finally arrived after 3 weeks, they found out it was not the mainboard, but just the control panel! And they don't have the parts and they have to order abroad!

When the control panel arrived, they found out that the swivel motor is dead, and the remote controller is kaput. They took the remote controller for repair but until now i haven't seen my remocon again. I called samsung service and raised hell, because that's the only way you could ask them to fix your samsung within your lifetime, but to no avail this time.

They just don't care, they want your money for their appliances. . . Which break down in such horrifying short period, and they probably expect you to give up on their lousy service and just go ahead and buy another one.

In my honest opinion, samsung products are of poor quality, and their service is a joke!

I will never buy another samsung product in my life, and i will tell my children to do the same. Owning samsung is too much trouble !

Samsung lost in shipments 2 times

I purchased an online package deal worth $2911.99. The package consist of tv, official nfl football, nfl dvd disc and a samsung bluray player. I receieved the tv, football and dvd disc but not the bluray player. I complained to bestbuy about this and they ask me to keep on ordering or retrying using my credit card and they say they will re-imburse my money. I tried it couple more times to order it but the second time still got lost in canada post (Richmond b. C. Facility) I finally got my item on the third time but best buy won't reimburse my money. They reimbursed my money on the second re-order but not the third time. Also, most of their customer support are very rude. They will talk to you like you owe them your life. This store is a rip off!

Samsung product faulty

My partner bought me a samsung phone on 24th December 2007, costing £140.00, in mid February it started switching itself off and occasionally not charging . I contacted phones 4 u in Glasgow where it was purchased and was told to take it to their Motherwell branch for repair. I did so on 1st March and i was unhappy with the fact the staff member tried to sell me another phone and forget about the repair. Not good customer service. After more than 2 weeks i contacted them because i had heard nothing and was told someone should have contacted me. I was told the phone was beyond repair due to water damage and i had to pay £17 to get it back. I disputed the water damage story and having to pay to get the phone back and told them i was going to contact the shop. The staff member suggested that i had left the phone beside a boiling kettle. I have always used samsung phones and so has my family but i am disgusted with the way we have been treated, i would also like to point out at present i am using my old samsung phone which is 2 years old. The phone we purchased has obviously been faulty and i would appreciate your help and common sense in resolving this complaint.

I purchase a new Samsung i900 on 1st June 2009 and two months down the track, after charging the phone overnight, the phone played up the following morning.
The phone started vibrating after over night charging and when i took the phone off charge to check if the vibrating was due to a message received, it did not accept my screen pin. I most definately did not forget my pin as it was the same used for 2 years and used on aonther mobile set. I tried turning on and off, even tried using another sim card which was from the same phone provider and the phone did not want to respond to the touchs on the touch screen
I took it to samsung provided in Western Australia and they say its not covered under warranty because it has a phone lock.
May i add that there are two ways to unlock this phone! I have used them both. One way can be through the pin and the other is by holding down the unlock key!
I find it unbelieveable that they can not figure out whats wrong with it!
My previous phone was a D600 and i did not have any problems and now an upgrade made looks like the worst choice made. I am currently using the old phone!

I have a samsung phone that had the same issue. Different phone model. The keypad also gets so hot, you don't want to touch it. I sent it to Samsung (US) to get it fixed since the keypad was a defect and who knows what the deal with the screen was. They said they can't fix it becasue it's damaged. It would cost me $90 US to fix the LCD and then they could fix the keypad. I keep my phone in a case and used one of those LCD protectors. The screen looked as if it melted and that's what I was told by my local at&t store. Samsung told me that because of the LCD, the defective keypad was not in warranty. It's their fault! They sold me a defective phone! So, I'm out $300 and the phone is useless. What a great company! Never buy their crappy products again.

I had a U6oo also which they claimed to have water damage. Their customer service is without a doubt the worst out of all major mobile phone companys FACT ! Every samsung product I have had has broken within its warranty time, but not been replaced or fixed due to lame excuses from them. I was told my u6oo required a flex pack, and that it was getting repaired. This was obviously going to cost them too much soo they decided to claim it was water damage. This took them 36 days to do so ! Well over their specified 28days gaurantee repair time, and if not repaired within this time a new handset should be issued which also never happened. The phone came back in a terrible state with the battery cover borken !I had it looked at by a third party local repair centre. It was not water damage ! It was repaired for £1o. I am now taking legal action against samsung ! They are wihout a doubt the worst mobile phone manufacturer at the moment and should not be allowed to treat their customers this way !

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN!
this mail is specifically a complaint of the Samsung Mobile dealers in PAKISTAN.
Actually i am a permanent user of samsung mobiles i had been using X100. D500, D600, E900 and now U600.
i was very satisfied of the samsung mobiles. But this time i am having a great problem. My SAMSUNG U600 set has got a black spot on its LCD. it started from the bottom of the screen and then moved on to the centre. And got bigger in a day. i went to the Warranty giving dealers MOBILE ZONE. They saw that its a big problem that will cost them about Rs 4000. they started giving excuses by saying that the set can't be claimed in warranty as it is damaged or it had a liwuid contact. i got shocked by hearing this that how can it be possible? The black spot had moved from bottom to centre, how can a damage can move? it can get bigger but can't move. but that spot had moved on. but still they do not agree and they are asking me for money Rs. 4000. Why? What does warranty mean?
there was some problem in the set by its own, not because of me it has never fall down and never had any contact to any liquid. I am Sure and i can bet on it. Then why they are not providing me my warranty rights.
they are just giving a bad name to SAMSUNG. My son had been using a nokia cell phone, he got problem with that then the dealers of that set, named ADVANCE TELECOM, took notice of that and they gave a new set replacement. WOW! This is the warranty.
But the SAMSUNG mobile dealers, MOBILE ZONE, are not even repairing the set and asking for the money. Isn’t it a matter of shame for them and for the samsung too.
In this way they are compelling me to use Nokia or some other company's mobile which provide a real useful warranty.
I want SAMSUNG Company to take a notice of it and provide me Warranty facility
My set is submitted in the MObile zone company but now they are asking for money. they have the set submitted to them with the R.O number RWP-21949 with the name of my son ZAIN

If some other information is required from me you can contact me at following phone numbers

Samsung worst service by samsung in bangalore

I purchased samsung fully automatic top loading washing machine from adishwar's, rajajinagar, bangalore. The show room service person completed the deomstration in 3 minutes! And fled the scene without even showing us how to drain the water out. The brand new washing machine is now full of dirty water and we have not used it even once. Show room person says' it is not our responsibility'. There is no response from the customer care since 6 days!

After sales service is really worst!

We bought a Samsung Refrigirator in 2006. It conked out in February 2009. We are still waiting for it to be fixed. We made several calls and threats and endearments to the Samsung Service people. The standard reply is, the part we need to fix the fridge has to come from Korea and it will take 3 weeks or more to procure etc etc. They keep saying the same story ad nauseum. Finally we moved to the US in April 2009 but we might return soon and we dont know what the hell to do with this conked out fridge.

People, if you don't want to waste your hard-earned money, and followed by endless bad services, don't buy anything from Samsung, hope people will not have the same bad experience that I have. I bought a refrigerator, really nice one, but it started to breakdown after 8 months. They never come fix it and have very bad customer services.

Samsung television giving shocks

Samsung tv gives very bad shocks - samsung does not care

Samsung tv (Model cs29 m (74cm) gives very bad shocks at the in and out terminals and antenna terminal. Be careful. You may be lucky so far.

You are fortunate if you do not perceive a shock, even if you have one such tv. But …….. Read on for full story…..

The above model gives very bad shocks from the day one. After repeated complaints, the samsung service team started giving telephonic advices how to test for a shock or how to get one.

Still more complaints…., the service personnel informed us that all their sets give the shock as if that is nothing new. I refuted their point that all tvs give shock.

Then one day they graced their presence; the manager was more careful about his life as he did not touch the set but asked his assistant to touch. The service personnel touched the set and got the shock. I showed them tvs like lg, phillips and akai which did not have any sign of shock.

Then the service man measured the shock potential by touching the set with his bare dry hands on a dry winter day. It measured more than 30 volts and he was wearing socks on his feet.

High technology team at samsung knows that it is close to result in a death.

The service manager tried to convince me with some technical lingo how modern tv sets give shock. I rebutted them in equal technical language.

On the advice of the manager, the service man removed a certain component from the set. I asked them what the purpose of it is. Or is it deliberately used by samsung to introduce a shock to human beings?
The manager informed me that it is a component basically to protect the set from lightening and high voltage surges and spikes.

I protested removal of such vital component, which will expose the set to dangers sooner or later. Samsung will happily wash of their hands after one year.

The set was then left in that condition in spite of my protests.

After another complaint, their manager from chennai made a long telephonic talk, bamboozling me with some more technical lingo, but the shock threat remains. He accepted his sets give shock but tried to prove that all tv sets give shock; only some may not perceive when they use cable network.

If all tvs made in this country give shocks, we as a nation are in for a shock!

Then this manager from chennai came and accepted that he was against removal of that component. He however brought a new printed circuit board and inserted in our tv.

Alas! This one also gives serious shocks.

It finally proves that all tvs made by samsung give dangerous shocks. Be careful.

No further action from them!

Samsung ignored my further mails and continue to sell their sets happily to hapless country men.

They do not belong to the class of nokia or sony.

It is dangerous. Any one of us can be next victim! It will not bother samsung.

What if, for them if some more get a shock in the multitude of millions in india?

Samsung fraudulent charges

I ordered a tv from pricemad - first they upsold me and then sold me a tv for $1600.00 they attempted to charge my credit card $3000.00. Then when I called them about it they first denied it (Until I told them the cc company had called me) and then tried to say they placed the order twice by accident which still would not equal that amount. They then kept arguing with me when I tried to cancel my order and hung up on me

The guy on the phone went so far as to ask me if I was canceling the order because he was in new york and liked the yankees - no joke intended - he was just rude.

I bought a TV a little over a year ago and today I woke up and my TV wont turn on. I called Samsung and informed them of the situation. I was told that they are having a some of issues with some of their LCD TV's and that my problem sound like one of them. I was told that a repair rep would contact me. I called back because I wanted to know if someone could come out before two days because this is the only TV I own and I cant afford to buy another one. When I called back another rep told my that if the rep come out and the issue was not covered by the repairs that they were doing on would have to pay for the consultation and the repairs. I explained that I don't think that is fare that my TV was a little over a year and I paid $699.00 plus tax for this TV and now a little over a year I cant even watch it and now you'll are telling me that I would have to pay more money just to watch my TV. They told me that is they way it was. I told them I bought a 20" TV for $78.00 dollars that I had for seven years and even when I gave it away it was still working and it is still working and that was a off brand TV. They said they understand but that is their policy. And their customer service reps are the worst. They are as nasty as can be. I though Samsung was a reputable brand but now I am starting to regret praising their product and recommending all the people that I did to buy buy it.
I remember when you could buy a TV and it would last forever seems like these days you might as well buy the cheap off brand because they seem to be lasting longer than the well known brands. I think after this experience I will go back to he off brands and save some money.
Just and FYI anyone else that's having the same issue you can go to the Consumer Protection web site and file a government complaint against this company. The more complaints they get maybe they will force this company to do a recall or repair these TV's for free.

Samsung no quality-

My son bought a hand phone on 28.02.2008. On 19.03.2008 his phone droped once and its off automatically. when he switch on the phone half of the screen corrupted. Can't read any message. Can only receive call.

On 21.03.2008 my son took the phone to FIRST MOBILE GROUP SDN BHD in Terminal One Seremban for repair. They cant even provide my son a temporary phone. Until to date they had doing nothing to the phone- reason " the model is the latest and still new in market no spare part" It's almost 2 weeks. I feel very disapointed with SAMSUNG. I've been using other products and never had this problem even though the phone drops many many times.

SAMSUNG - U 'VE BREAK OUR TRUST!

PLEASE kindly give us a new hand set. We have no HEART on the old spoiled hand set. Pls put your self as a customer. RM500.00 is not a small money. My son is still a student. Because of your SLOW and POOR service I've bought A new SONY ERICSON phone for my son.

I wish to get an urgent reply from you, and hope to receive a NEW set soonest possible or otherwise I will definitely influents everybody for not buying your products .

Sorry- I'm too tired calling and talking to the service center and and calling your TOL-FREE. You are not profesional. Too bad n too sad.

its your own fault, the samsung F250 is a genuine and reliable product i have had no troubles with mine, aswell as 95% of users with the same mobile and i have dropped mine roughtly 20-30 times, and mine works perfectly, its just people with no common sense who think they are entitled to special treatment because they broke there phone, well all im going to say is grow up in your lifetime you should expect to come across a faulty product and yes its fustrating getting it fixed or repaired but if you take care of your products you would have no need to send it in to be repaired will you?.

Samsung Refrigerator nightmare

Hi,

I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator from Best Buy in September 2006. In March 2006 and prior the freezer stop producing ice and the repairmen was called to fix the freezer but had to order the parts. Repair was called for service due to same issue on 05/11/07. 05/29/07 returned from vacation food thawed and freezer wasn't working and we lost approximately $100 worth of food.

07/11/07 refrigerator turned itself off all the electric in the entire home was working refrigerator was shut down the representative just told me to unplug and plug back in. On 07/31/07 told the Samsung I need to have a new refrigerator sent to me the freezer sound like an airplane engine and it was going to stop soon. At this time I was told to fax in the purchase receipt so my refund could be processed because they don’t do exchanges. I was given a tracking number as I was told it takes 4-6 weeks to process a refund. I faxed the receipt in the same day and again on the next day.

On 08/03/07 I called to ensure fax was received and I was told by the representative that the refund could not be processed for the entire purchase plus the tax only. She told me the purchase price only will be refunded in Ohio. In addition, she requested that I send the serial number label off the side of the refrigerator and cut the cord to the refrigerator and mail it in order to begin the 4-6 weeks processing time. I asked her what I was supposed to do for a refrigerator while waiting 4-6 weeks for them to process the refund. I also asked her if this made common sense to her to disable a refrigerator that is currently working prior to receiving the refund and why I would not receive the full refund amount including the tax. She stated she would bring this to a supervisor’s attention and I told her I will send the label and I would not cut the cord. I was told they would send the information to her and she will have the supervisor respond.

MY FREEZER STOPPED WORKING ON 08/10/2007 AND I INFORMED EACH PERSON I SPOKE TO OF THIS FACT!

On 08/07/07 I mailed the label to Samsung certified mail receipt, and after calls on 08/10/07 and 08/14/07 the label was still no showing as received in Samsung’s system. On 08/14/07 I spoke to ECR department which processes returns and they told me the 4-6 weeks couldn’t begin until they received the product label. I told them I could fax my copy of the same label while we are waiting for this mail to be received. They told me it has to be received by mail and I would need to cut the cord to my refrigerator and send it in to process the return.

On 08/19/07 I went into Best Buy store #161 and told the sales representative that I needed help getting a new refrigerator, as my refrigerator is not working. He told me to call 888-best-buy to get help. I called 88-best-buy on 08/20/07 and spoke to the representative who told me it was under manufacturer’s warranty and I would have to work with Samsung to get their approval for replacement. She sent a fax to Central Repair, who is the repair service utilized for the Samsung, and they will come to my home and verify the product is not working. After, Central Repair certified the product was not operable then Samsung would be able to issue a replacement authorization and I would be able to go to Best Buy and purchase a new product.

On 08/22/07 Central Repair inspected the product and certified that it was not functioning and told me they would fax the information to Samsung. On 08/23/07 I called Best Buy and they told me I should speak with Samsung regarding the authorization to replace the product and they couldn’t do anything prior to receiving this authorization.

On 08/23/07 I called Samsung and they told me they received the fax and they will begin the process of 4-6 weeks to send me a refund check and they would not provide me with an authorization to replace the product at Best Buy. I told her I DON’T HAVE A WORKING PRODUCT IN MY HOME AND IT HAS NOT BEEN WORIKING SINCE 08/10/07. She told me the refund will be processed and they would expedite the process. When I asked her what time frame I could expect to receive a refund, she told me she would have a supervisor call me within 24 hours regarding the status of the return. I told her this is not acceptable and I need a working refrigerator. She stated the refund will be processed and no authorization will be provided and no refund for my lost food of approximately $250 would be made. She stated I need to have a receipt for all food purchased prior to refunds for lost food being sent.

The result is I sued Samsung in small claims and won now I am trying to collect. If there is anyone who could provide information regarding the banks they use it would be appreciated.

Samsung product quality & service policy!

There is a board right above the lcd panel on my 46" tv amongst other numerous boards, which samsung does not provide to its authorized repair shops. So when this board goes bad, they are telling you to buy a whole new lcd panel, which is so expensive that you are better off to buy a new tv all together.

This board went bad on my tv just after a year and half at which point the warranty is expired. I called samsung customer support and they adamantly insisted that what ever the shop says is what I have to do and that the board is not sold separately. The joke is, that samsung provides this board to other companies, for what ever reason or purpose, and I was able to get it on line and repair my tv myself. The question is, why is this board (Part) failing so quickly (I have heard of several cases myself alone) , and why samsung likes to sell you a new lcd panel/tv at a much higher price instead of the board at a fraction of the lcd panel's cost?

Why didn’t it bother samsung a bit when I told them about the situation and why didn't it bother them at all that they have a quality problem here? Is samsung trying to boost sales by following such policy?
Samsung may not care about quality and practice, but customers do. I am not buying any more samsung products and I suggest every one else to reconsider if they intend to buy their products.

i bought a samsung 26" LCD tv from croma retail in Feb 2009. Within 6 mnths of purchasing it, it TV screen started malfunctioning. i called samsung customer care and croma. both assured me to solve the problem in stipulated tme. But after 15 days passing away, still prolem persists.

I would recommend my friends and readers of this website not to buy any samsung product to avoid any problem.

I have always patronized Samsung products in the past, from cellphones, TV sets and laptops. About a little over two years ago, having been told that Samsung is the pioneer in LCD/LED TVs, I got me a 46" Samsung Smart LED TV which cost over One hundred Thousand pesos. Just very recently, sometime in the middle of November 2013, while watching a show on this TV, the screen display suddenly went black and nothing was on display, but the sound however remained. At first, I went to a big appliance store in a mall near my place and talked to a Samsung sales representative and told him about what happened to my SAMSUNG 46" Smart LED TV. And I have been told that the only usual trouble buyers of this brand encountered in the past is the LED back light which cost around Two thousand Pesos. The following day I asked my wife to call the Samsung Customer Service Center to report the problem. We were referred to an accredited Service Center somewhere in Antipolo City, and a week later, a service technician went to my residence to check on the unit. He did some tests with his tester and told us that the problem with the unit was the LED Panel. I wanted to know how much it would cost me to have it repaired or replaced, so I asked the technician for a job estimate. We were told that he would immediately submit his report to his office, and they would get in touch with me the following day for the actual costs to be charged for the repair. I was shocked to find out that the cost of the LED Panel replacement was Twenty Eight Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Pesos (Php 28, 520.00) plus labor cost of One Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Pesos (Php 1, 350.00). This is far out crazy! Having spent over a hundred thousand pesos and after just a little over two years, I will have to shell out another Twenty Eight Thousand Pesos more? And in case I had the money to pay for the replacement, how long will it take before it gets busted again? Another Twenty Eight Thousand again after two years? Probably even less this time! I hope this concern of mine will reach the Samsung Head Office in Korea! Can you please do something about this you people? The money I used to buy your product was hard earned money! Another irritating thing is I was charged Php 650.00 for the simple check-up by the service technician. If nothing is done with this complaint, I will never patronize any of your products again and will surely go to the extent of telling friends and acquaintances to do the same. You know what the power of social media is nowadays! This is not in anyway some sort of blackmail! I just do not want other innocent consumers to go through the same inconvenience and throw away hard earned money as I did! LCD LN 74061F Samsung LCD is clicking off and on, splotchy picture and vertical colored lines. I have to turn off and on again and again to get a picture. Increasingly taking more times and more striped colors and less picture. I am so disappointed in Samsung LCD tv's. I paid more than normal to get a Samsung, as I was told they were reliable. Now after barely 3 years 1800+ tv is no longer working. All of the posts seem to confirm a very poor product. Please do not waste your money on this DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!

But till date he did not delivered the same. Whenever, contacted, they are giving stock reply that 'STOCK IS NOT AVAILABLE. I am ready to take delivery of another camera, but He is not considering.

I wish to find out whether this free offer is from the dealer or from SAMSUNG company. What should I do now. Please advise me.

I also bought an LCD 61" for $1800 and after 14 months it started turning intself on and off repeatedly. I had to unplug the TV just to make it stop. The repair man told me it's a common problem with Samsung. I can't believe after only a year that this has happened. I've owned less expensive TV's that have lasted years and years. Samsung is garbage and they don't care. Korean crap that's asssembled in Tijuana.

Customer Support Services Manager,
I am an Indian Air Force Officer, I had purchased a samsung LCD TV from M/s Classic Electronics Siliguri in Sep - Oct 2008, when I was posted at Bagdogra. While purchasing, the dealer's rep (Mr Suman) indicated that the free wall mounting could be taken from the service centre either in Siliguri or the next posted place. Now I have finally reached with my family at Bidar (Karnataka). So I registered online thru my mobile for getting the wall mounting fixed thru local Samsung dealer (Gulbarga). My BP No. is [protected]. Promptly, The dealer in Bidar (thru Gulbarga Dealer) came and handed over the wall mounting brackets for fixing and was to come next day for fixing it. But after some time I got a call from Mr Reddy ( rep of Gulbarga dealer) that I have to pay Rs 600/- for purchasing the Bracket.

While purchasing I was told the this wall mounting bracket would be given free, whenever and wherever I get it installed. Now I am being asked to pay Rs 600/-? Kindly clarify this aspect at my email id amknaidu@yahoo.co.in

I also have a LN R408D. I bought it 22months ago together with a five year extended warranty offered by Best Buy. A day before Thanksgiving, the TV made the same pop when I turned it on and kept clicking but no picture or sound came on. I called BB and was told the best they could do was Dec. 9 for a service call. Of course I was not happy about that and after several conversations BB ordered an outside technician to make a call on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

The diagnosis is that the TV had shorted. Its supposedly a common problem every 18 to 24 months. If I had no warranty it would cost me about $700.00 to repair. The original cost of the television was $1, 800.00.

Samsung only stand by a year manufacturer's waranty. It shows you just what a cheap, badly manufactured product they put out when they do not want to stand behind their products. Something like the car companies that are asking to be bailed out right now.

The customer service at BB was extremely bad. The rep. kept repeating "mam, I can't" "ma'm I don't know".

At Samsung, I was told that the warranty ran out and they were no longer responsible and that my TV was working okay. ?

I have never experience such crap in my life.

Samsung is making a product which is selling for $1800. Breaking down every 18 to 24 months at a cost of $700 - $800 to repair and when I bought the TV I was told it would last for 20 years. Therefore, the full amount of the TV will run me $9, 800 to 10, 000. Hurrah. I am a rich person on a fixed income who just enjoys my tv.

No wonder big corporations pay executives big paychecks, benefits, bonuses. When things go wrong, just ask for a bailout at the taxpayers expense because the poor employees will not have a job. The company never cared to make a decent product in the first place.

Wake up America. You stink in Customer service and manufacturing. I have a RCA TV, for 25 years and an old coloured Zenith that still works.

Clean up your act. You are ripping everyone off.

Samsung french door refrigerator

I purchased a stainless steel french door refrigerator model rf266aash on 11/10/2007. The refrigerator stopped cooling on 2/14/2008. I notified samsung and the store where it was purchased on 2/14/2008. A repairman came on 2/19/2007 and stated the computer was defective. He ordered another board and it did not come in until 2/26/08. It was installed and the repairman said the fans are working and I should not open it or store any food in it for 24 hours. He left and 3 hrs later I checked and the fans were not running and the temperature was 69 degrees in the fridge and freezer. This morning, 2/27/2008, it is at 70 in the fridge and 74 in the freezer. I called samsung yesterday and they were not helpful and rude. They said the repairman needs to come back. I called the repair company and they never returned my call. I called this morning and they said they would fit me in but could not give me a time. Be wary of samsung products as the customer service is terrible. I have had to eat out every day because I do not have anyplace to store perishable food. This is quite an expense on top of the huge inconvenience. I want a refund so I an purchase a reliable brand but know this will be a battle not easily fought. My next step is consumer affairs and the attorney general for nj. I will then approach the media.

Like so many others we bought a Samsung french door fridge. After only 6 mths the refrigerator had a cooling problem. Called for service. After 4 trys the "technicians" finally got it fixed. Another 5 mths & the ice maker quit. Called again. Got a decent tech this time. Got fixed. Now almost a year after buying the cooling system on the fridge is going out again. When you spend almost $2k for a unit it should work for many years. This whole line seems to be a giant lemon. Maybe Samsung should follow Toyota & have a major recall or at the very least refund 1/2 of our purchase price. I would support a class action suit.

I upgraded from my D900 in September 2007 to the U700. Within weeks from upgrading the silver started peeling off from the face of the handset. I contacted Samsung and it was arranged that a new face be fitted to my phone in East London at the Vodacare Centre. This was done in October 2008.

Again within a few weeks the silver started to wear off. I once again contacted Samsung and this time it was arranged for the handset to be collected from me and returned to Samsung for evaluation. I was this time round issued with a brand new handset from Samsung. This was in the beginning of December 2008.

Again, the silver peeled within a few weeks. I emailed Natasha at Samsung and once again my handset was sent to Johannesburg in January 2008. This time round another new face was fitted.

I was guaranteed that the new face is of a superior quality and that the finish has been improved and that it would never show signs of peeling.

Unfortunately once again, new face and all, white is showing through the silver, and this after I left the plastic protective film on for as long as possible. My phone is scratch free, I take exceptional care of it and this problem is definitely not related to misuse or abuse.

As can be seen from above, I have now had 4 replacements (including the original handset on upgrading). And also bear in mind I only got this phone 5 months ago. This has been a great inconvenience each time as I do not have a spare handset (D900 given to my daughter). I have had to make use of a borrowed Motorola C250!

I have never before experienced such inconvenience and disappointment. I have had 3 other Samsung handsets prior to the U700, and never experienced any difficulty with them.

The above was emailed to Samsung Customer Support. I received a phone call after this saying that Samsung is prepared to give me another handset model, but that I will have to pay in.

I am not prepared to pay in on another handset. When I upgraded to the U700 I had to pay in to get the phone as at that stage it was not free on my current package with Vodacom. I paid in happily as I wanted the phone and was under the impression that I would have it for 2 years until my next upgrade, so it seemed worth it at that stage.

I also do not see why I should pay in after I was the one being inconvenienced through all this and that the defect was not as a result of anything I did wrong.

This is shocking and I am highly disspointed in Samsung.

I bought a Samsung Home Theate system and it broke in the first 6 months I had it. They send me a replacement...it broke within the first two month. I called Samsung to make sure they were sending me new products and they admitted they don't give customers new models they send out refurbished ones. I asked for a new model because I paid full price for a new model initially and they told me too bad. I spoke with a manager and they also told me too bad. I will never buy Samsung again.

Samsung bad quality product!

My two month old barely used DVD drive stopped reading dvd's. When submitting a form to return the item, was given a confirmation number and told where to send it at my expense. Over a month later, the dvd drive was sent back by Hinet systems unopened. No reason for the return was given. I phone up customer service and was told the RMA number I put on the outside of the box was incorrect. That was the same RMA number I was told to put on the outside of the box.

So I was told to redo the online form, think treated me like it was fault. I did online again. Again I get the same invalid RMA number I was told wouldn't work. I call again. And told they don't accept optical drives in Canada. It would be sent to the states from Hinet in Missausaga. Again I tell them I sent it there and it was returned back to me unopened and I had to pay for shipping there and to receive it back.

I also find out I wasn't suppose to pay for shipping at all, it was suppose to be billed to their UPS account. I've gotten no where with them, have talked with over 5 people trying to put the blame on me. And no one wants to believe that the email they send from their people is telling me incorrectly what to do. I'm out the $35.00 I paid for the piece of junk OPP drive, plus the $21.68 for all the shipping back and forth.

I'm treated like a lair, idiot or criminal. I don't even want to own the samsung monitors I bought over the years and when they finally quit working I'm going back to Viewsonic.

I will never own anything samsung again after this experience. I finally gave up, threw the useless drive out and cried over this.

Samsung bad quality product!

There is a 3 year warranty on the monitor. I have had it only 7 months, it is in pristine condition and it just stopped working. Following the terms of the warranty, Samsung sent a replacement which is a "refurbished" monitor that had a crack on the base and was dusty. They will now replace this with another refurbished monitor. I paid for and expected better quality. I will not trust any of Samsungs products in the future.

I have a samsung top loader washing machine bought almost 3 years ago. Let me tell you how TERRIBLE this product is! First let me start we had a samsung front loader also broke and flooded our laundry room and living room. We replaced it with another samsung but this time top loader. Why we bought another samsung because we got a discount at best buy. Worse mistake! We have had 2 repairs on our top loader first costing us 200 the 2nd repair 450. We tried calling samsung and asked what can they do about this product. They said they will take my complaint but cant do anything about it. I asked to have someone contact me when someone higher up acknowledges the problems that we have encountered. (Have not heard from anyone) long story short.. dont buy ANY samsung washers ESPECIALLY the electronic ones because there are SO many sensors that you need to replace! Please reconsider purchasing a samsung washer! Its a major headache and a huge waste of your time trying to contact maintenance and dealing with very unhelpful samsung staff!

I am so disappointed in Samsung products! I thought at first it was just the plasma tvs that was bad. I paid $1300 cash for my tv on sale, and one day I turned it on and it just cracked out of the blue. Did some research and many other people where complaining of the same thing with their 58' Samsung plasma tv. So now I give their phones a go. Oh why did I do that? I have several lines with Samsungs 5 phones and we are having so many problems. We didn't have problems with our Motorola or our HTC phones, but now that we have Samsung it's constant problems. This product cost to much to be so problematic. It's made beautifully but it works terrible. Samsung please stand behind your product! Your screens do not last on your devices, and it is not far to your consumers that is shelling out all of this hard earned cash for repairs and replacements. I have 4 Samsung 5s and I will not purchase another Samsung product or advice anyone to until you improve your product!

I purchased a Samsung SL-M2875FW/XAA printer and the customer support is a joke every 2-3 weeks the scanner function fails to work because the pcs can't see the printer. But you can still print no problem. After poorly written customer care email to reload firmware I get them to remote in and they apply the same patches I already have and they say that will work fine just restart your pc. Fine after restart it still doesn't work. But I have figured out that by reinstalling the scanner software from the Samsung cd it works again but it's a pain every 2-3 weeks . I will never buy Samsung junk again I called Samsung demanding my money back and they claim it's a hardware problem and to take it to the repair center. Next printer will be HP

I purchased one of your washers at BransMart USA. The washer is minimally used
as I am single and I of not have kids. I was told by my friends to do not buy Samsung
products because they break down easy. Unfortunately I did not listen to my
friends. After 3 years, the washer is died. The last washer I had before I
decided to replace it worked for 12 years, the only thing I had to replace was
the belt. It was made in the USA. The Samsung washer died after 3 years.
Unfortunately I have not thought about extending the warranty because I never
thought that it would break down after 3 years.

I
will never go back to BrandsMart USA because they should told me that Samsung
products are not reliable. I will never buy anything made by Samsung the rest
of my life. I feel scammed.

Our Samsung lcd tv just said poff in the morning five days ago. It was barely three years old but after reading how bad their customer service is and how crappy their quality really is i found it useless to repair it. The picture was average and the sound was crap from the start. It came with an free dvd and that one was dead after one year.
My wife´s Samsung cellphone only lasted eight months before it too was broken and Samsung told us it was no use to repair it hmmmmm. No more Samsung crap in our house ever again, it´s just a waste of money. Samsung must have the worse quality in the world and it seems it just getting worse and worse.

I purchased Samsung Galaxy i5510 on 11/06/2011 what they claim to be the one with less SAR (radiation). Looks are good worked for 6 days then display went OFF. Horrible - what else to say. Took it to a service centre and the response was replacement could be done only if it was within 4 days of purchase. They told the touch screen display is dead. So samsung guarantees its product for just 4 days. I dont understand how they tested these products before bringing it to the market. I suggest Never buy a Samsung product in your life.

Hi ALL BE CAREFUL IF you select any SAMSUNG product. Quality cannot be guaranteed.

Samsung tv has red spots on picture!

I bought a 50 inch samsung plasma from (hh junk) in august 2007. Bought the extended warranty because I was told after they work on the same problem 4 times they will replace the tv. Watched tv for about 5 weeks got red spots on picture called customer service, technician couldn't fix problem. To make a long story short they worked on it 4 times ordering parts each tme. So I go back to hh junk and they tell me that the first service call doesn't count and I have to make another service call. So I did and the manager of the store named fredd told me after they replace the next part they will exchange the tv. Well here it is january 2008 and 6 service calls later I am still trying to get my tv fixed. I will not nor recommend anyone to buy from hhgregg.

Samsung poor quality product!

I made the mistake of purchasing a samsung inverter air coditioner model sh12bwha in august. It worked briefly. When we contacted the service agent he diagnosed the problem as lying with the inverter. Replacement parts were ordered and after 4 weeks the wrong part was sent from sydney. Three weeks later the right part arrived and was installed by the service agent. The air con worked for three whole days! And then broke down again. One service agent advises he no longer will work for samsung and the other one cannot come for 4 weeks!

We have made over 40 calls and emails to samsung and related companies. No satisfaction yet. Have handed complaint to consumer affairs. We wait with bated breath. Oh yes, no one sells samsung airconditioners in darwin any more. I wonder why? Did I purchase the last one? I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

My husband and I purchased new phones in Nov, payed almost 300.00 which also made us renew a 2 yr contract with them. After getting the phones we continued to have problems with no signal and constantly dropped calls or just plain not getting any ring. I went in to complain and was told the phones were missing some updates that it should take care of it. NOPE went in again they said there was nothing wrong with our phones that our areas tower was being worked on, that it should be ok in a couple weeks. During all this time our 30 days was running out to get different phones... We finally today went to the cooperate office and spoke to someone there and he advised us that the samsung phones do not work in our area, and in fact there weren't even any TOWERS! So we were filled full of bs from these people so our 30 days would elapse. We have threatened to cancel our new 2 yr. contract that they roped us into, and we will REFUSE to pay it. At&t needs to be stopped from taking advantage of innocent people. The bill itself is enough with there hidden charges and fees!

Samsung freezer

I bought a samsung refrigerator 2 years ago and have had freezer problems since then. The freezer is on the lowest temperature and ice cream is so hard it cannot be dipped. The refrigerator is on the highest temperature and everything is warm. We run out of ice constantly & the freezer keeps freezing up. We have had the repairman out 4 times and he always says its fixed but it never is. I am going to call samsung & request a new refrigerator!
