Samsung samsung top load washer subject to late 2016 recall and rebate

Samsung washer recall rebate – what a joke! We have considered the options on the recall – repair or rebate $195 (non samsung washer). The repair option does not work for us as it will not change the fact that we will continue to be unable to wash waterproof items in the washer (a feature we need). Due to the recall and circumstances, we don’t want to buy another Samsung washer for two reasons– likely using many of the same cheap parts, same faulty engineering resulting in this recall and the risk that we may not be use the next Samsung washer to wash waterproof or other normal items.

Samsungs offer of a measly $195 is only 27%of the price we paid for this $730 washer just over 3.5 yrs ago (also bought a Samsung dryer). Under their unacceptable terms, we stand to lose an unacceptable $535 in depreciation. Adding insult to injury, we can’t legally sell or donate the existing washer to anyone else due to the recall… way too much money to lose because of Samsung engineering and manufacturing mistakes. Samsung keeps all the profit and we take all of the loss…not fair…when Samsung is responsible for the recall!

Samsung is penalizing us the consumer for mistakes made by Samsung engineers and/or cheap parts. THE REBATE AMOUNT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. We will never buy another Samsung product.

Samsung tv misrepresented

Don't know if this is something you can pursue but here is my story, I saw a TV in a local store that I liked ( samsung model #un55ks8000) 55" screen. I looked on Samsungs website to see if they had larger size and they did (un60ks8000) 60" screen. I live in Sebring and no local stores had one in stock. I went back to Samsungs website to order and their website referred me to a list of their dealers. I bought it and when I received it was different from what was described. On Samsung website they show all of the ks8000 series TV's to have the same look 49" 55" 60" 65". The feature that drew me to it was the " Ultra Slim bezel" . The 60" does not have the "ultra Slim bezel" it has a 1/2 inch bezel on the sides and top. see pic. I have talked with Samsung on numerous occasions and they will not own up to their misrepresentation of this TV. The dealer I bought it from won't either. My name is Kevin Randolph [protected].

Samsung refrigerator

For my dual door fridge, I contacted your local customer care on 20.12.16 who had taken my contact no. Immediately there after I got a call from Mr. Baban of M/s Supra Care, New Barrackpur, Kolkata - 700131 (Ph. +[protected]/ +[protected]) who claimed to be your authorized agent and he got the intimation from your service centre. Same day he came for service and changed the `duck sensor`(which bears no `make` and was in open unsealed condition) and charged Rs. 2, 000/-. He issued cash receipt no. 68 dt. 20.12.16 which bears no mention about being `Samsung authorized rep.
As the problem persisted he came next day and did something but the problem still remains.
I apprehend some nexus is going on which may please be investigated.
While we go for your product mainly from good after sales service but if this is your arrangement of addressing customer complaint we are to think twice before buying any Samsung product in future.
My request is to depute your authorized service rep. to take care of the problem.

Samsung samsung induction range

We bought a Samsung Induction Range less than a year ago (Feb, 2016). There is a chip in the glass top and we have been trying to communicate with Samsung Customer Service about warranty repairs. This is the most ridiculous customer service experience I have ever had in my life! Half the time, it is impossible to understand the people you are talking to! THREE times, I have emailed them the invoice for the unit, and THREE times, they have told us they didn't get it. Their criteria for emailing the invoice it absurd. This has been going on for over two weeks now, and I'm over it! I will NOT purchase another Samsung appliance! The customer service is the WORST EVER! Warranty, HA! I can't tell you how many times the oriental speaking people have told my husband that our range is out of warranty! SERIOUSLY? Believe me, I will spread the word! We will be in the market for a new refrigerator soon, and I'm here to tell you that IT WON'T be a Samsung!

Samsung front load washing machine

I purchased a washer and dryer set a little over 4 years ago on 3/18/2012. As of 12/10/16, the washing machine is no longer spinning, and it makes a loud, horrible noise. Unfortunately, the shaft is broken and the repair is not inexpensive. I called Samsung support; there is nothing they can do because the warranty of 10 years only covers the motor. The other parts are covered for 1 year. My issue is the machine is only 4 years old, and it should not be broken down. The life of the machine should extend far beyond 4 years.

The repairman said he repairs a lot of Samsung front loads. The shaft is made of aluminum; the detergent and others washing aids build up and cause corroding.

I am very disappointed because Samsung is known as a quality brand. Apparently, the machines are poorly built. I am requesting that Samsung repair the machine.

Samsung horrible customer service re: repair of a galaxy s7

We have been talking with people from samsung for 2 & 1/2 months regarding a broken screen repair. We were not told of the non-warranty repairs being out on hold due to samsung's defective note 7's when we first contacted samsung & we didn't find out about thus hold until a month later. By this time the phone had been sent in for repair & then returned to us not repaired.

Long story short, in november, after speaking with management, the phone was to be shipped to samsung for free, repaired for free & shipped back all within a week, we just had to call back to see when the non-warrenty repair hold was lifted. Just last week we called and was told that we should've just been sent a free phone (Since there is a major medical need for the phone) so we could transfer all the information from the damaged phone to the new one & then send back the damaged phone. We were supposed to get a phone call regarding this new solution in 24-48 hours and have not received the call. We called today & were given an escalated ticket number that was sent to samsung's customer relations department & are to get a phone call with in 24-48 hours. We didn't get a ticket number last time. We will be calling tomorrow morning (24 hours) to speak with the customer relations department regarding this situation.

Samsung french door refrigerator model rf32fmqdbsr

This very expensive 4 French door refrigerator (over $3000) quit cooling within 2 years of purchase, and Samsung is non-responsive. Samsung supposedly scheduled service with an independent contractor to come look at it and he never showed up because no one ever told him--they dropped the ball completely. They can't be re-scheduled for at least 2 more weeks. I have been receiving the same line, ("it's not my department") from Samsung for every call I make. Meanwhile, my food is spoiling and I am hoping we don't end up with food poisoning from improperly cooled food. I payed too much for this refrigerator to run out and buy another. It is apparent that once Samsung gets your money they do not care. They should be ashamed!

Samsung samsung galaxy grand prime

I bought Samsung galaxy grand prime duos (Two Years FMP Warranty) last year and there is problem in Memory slot since start. now there is problem in display and battery. I calmed for warranty, after two months they did not repair any thing and asking 50 SR for service charge.

Samsung note 7 painful return process

Samsung released the Galaxy Note 7 twice. Both times they promised they were "fixed" or "working". Obviously they were wrong.

My complaint is with Samsung of Australia. I was attempting to contact them for 2 weeks. I called every other day. The first call was straight forward. I was put on a call list to hear back from their head office to discuss the matter. 2 days pass and I got nothing. So I call again. The same thing happens. For a week and a bit, this same scenario played out. When I finally did get in contact with them, they were rude and completely misunderstanding. I explained (over and over) that the updates they did messed up the phone from actually being a phone. I also explained that I used this phone (primarily the active digitizer) for work and by taking the phone away they were taking my job away. I also explained and showed that their "updated" and lack of support cost me $700 from clients. I made a very reasonable request which was a guarentee for the Note 7 successor device. Instead they walk circles around me, telling me "don't be such an i###t" and "you're lucky we're doing anything at all". I told them (without the censorship) "You're kidding me, right? You stole $700 from me and I will never see that again. What I'm asking for is completely reasonable. You owe me." Shortly after that, they said sorry sir and hung up forcing me to call them back only for the "other" office to put me on a list again. Later that day I got an email instead of a call from them about their original remedy. I told them "F**k you. None of you know how to do your job. I'll take the black s7 edge and gift card. Thanks for nothing and wasting my time". Then, get this, they send a follow up email saying "Please confirm the colour you would like, in stock we currently have silver, gold and black". Like wtf? I literally just told you. So I said (and by this point I'm way past my boiling point) "seriously? do you people not know how to do your jobs? if you actually cared about your customers and took care of them, you would have known that I requested the black model in my prior calls. and make it quick. I've waited long enough on your time and am rather pist."

So the point of this is, try not to buy anything from Samsung of Australia. If you do, try to not use their support as they are bad at support and their jobs.

Samsung 55 inch suhd curved tv

I am requesting a refund on 2 tv's i purchased. i didnt own them but only a month for the second one in which a friend brushed up against it which rendered the tv without a viable viewable screen. the tv still has sound but no picture. the first one i purchased i owned only but a few months, bout 3 in which the same happened. icalled and spoke to a rep today n gave her pertinate info reguarding serial and model number. my name is gina adams 1916 parkview ave bristol pa 19007. Samsung samsung 7

I contacted you on the 2nd december about my s7 that i took into mtn liberty mall on the 10th november 2016. This phone was taken out on contract on the 2nd november 2016 on the 9th of november the phone overheated. (It was so hot i could not handle the phone). I put it back into its packaging and returned it to mtn. I don't know if the heat of the phone cracked the back screen but it certainly wasn't damaged when it was put into the box. At mtn they filled out a report only stating that the casing was damaged they never mentioned the overheating. I am still waiting for this phone to be repaired. It is over a month later. Phone calls and enquiries to mtn are met with "we are waiting for spares." i am becoming very frustrated as this has not been handled properly and i feel i should have been given a new phone. I am paying r800.00 a month for a phone that i don't have. Not to mention all the phone calls. I do not even receive a courtesy call to explain what is happening. I have supported samsung for years all my appliances in my home are samsung. I have had numerous samsung phones and this time i have nothing but problems. Please between you and mtn sort out this problem. Besides that the phone was still in its warranty period.

Samsung poor service

I would like to express my disappointment from your unsatisfactory level of service experienced at one of your stores. I have expected much more from a prestigious and reputed company of your standard. Unfortunately, I can’t help but submit this letter of complaint hoping for a fast and adequate resolution.
I bought a Tablet at one of your stores in Clearwater Mall on Friday, 25th Nov 2016. A week into that, which was 5th Nov 2016, I went back to the store where I had purchased the product with the intention of returning it for a full refund since I discovered that my husband had also bought the same product from a different store.
Upon arrival at the store I was greeted by a lady manager who said to me “are you also going to swear at me like the other customers” which I did not find amusing as a customer, the expectation was a proper greeting and then we would get into the reasons why I was at customer care.
She paid no attention to my story and was in a hurry about everything and did not care about my reasoning for wanting to return the product. As a consumer I felt I was mistreated or rather she showed lack of customer service towards me and did not seem to care about it or the repercussions thereof. We went back and forth with the argument about returning the product and she even alluded that I am more than welcome to report her to head office if that’s what I want to do. She kept on referring to that it’s over the 10 days policy which I found shocking as no one had cared enough to inform about upon purchase and she also said she has no time to read the Consumer protection act as it is too long for her.
I am writing to you with the expectation that this be taken further because of what followed then. After the mistreatment and out of frustration I got from the manager at your store. It so happened that, and I admit, I dropped the tablet right in front of her while trying to show her that nothing had happened to it and it is still intact. She then used that as an excuse to not what to take it claiming that I had broken it. We tested the product and it was still in working condition.
She then insisted that she will not take it and asked me to leave since it was dented. This brought such dis taste in my mouth regarding the brand and I am even thinking of changing all my appliances that had loved and bought over the years.
Please note that I am ready to go public with this and I don’t think such a reputable brand like you would want to go through that kind of tarnish.
I am displeased and disappointed to a point that I doubt any Samsung product will ever be appealing to me let alone a store in any mall. Please note that I will be returning the product this Saturday and will leave it there for you to attend to this as matter of urgency.

Samsung samsung live gear smartwatch

Is it just me or does Samsung Canada's Customer Service treat customers like garbage. You would think that A company that has had the mother of all problems with their batteries in their cell phones blowing up that they would try their best to keep the customers of their other items happy! I bought my first Smart Watch last December for $178.00, after 11 months I needed to change the straps, in changing them the spring loaded pin cracked the cheap plastic backing corner pieces. I thought nothing of this until the watch started catching on clothes. I called Samsung Canada and in short suggested that I sent the watch to their service shop, clear across the country, in Mississauga. The watch was still under warranty and they could fix it their, according to Samsung. These jokers at ATNE, the so called authorized warranty shop for Samsung email me telling me that the watch was dropped and damaged from a drop (physical damage) not true I babied this watch but I was curious to see what they would charge for the black plastic backing of the watch. $245.00, yup a full $67.00 more that I paid for a NEW watch at Visions. Now if I decline to pay their "Ransom" they want to charge me $25.00 plus shipping back to me. so my cost for nothing being dine to my watch was going to be about $100. ***? I tried to call Customer Service again, Got some people overseas who then said they were referring to me to escalated customer service. After a 56 minute discussion that got me nowhere, he promised to call the service centre and call me back, did no happen and I can not get someone to help me from Samsung. I am now faced with paying $100 for having nothing done to my watch, pay the exorbitant repair cost or forfeit my watch. What is going on here, I thought we lived in a Country with laws against this and what the hell is going on with Samsung? I have been a loyal customer for years being their TV's, Cell Phones and even their appliances. HELP, anyone?

Samsung french door refrigerator

17 months ago we purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator, model # RF263BEAEBC//AA

This refrigerator runs loud, and has for the day of delivery. The ice maker is beyond slow, we buy bags off ice routinely. Then, after only 17 months, the ice maker quit running and we had to replace it. We should not have had to pay for this repair and the product should have been built better.

We have 3 Samsung TV's, and a Samsung washer and dryer. They have been good products, but the refrigerator has been a huge disappointment. We tell everyone we know to never buy one, and now Samsung is a brand we will avoid for all products.

Samsung mobile phone

My ph caught fire and I threw that away. If I did anything wrong? Samsung kept my phone for 2 months and returned as it is. Really? Is it samsung?
It caught fire so Shall I use this same phone again? If it caught fire again you take guarantee of my life that nothing will happen to me?
Your call center people tell me that I denied replacement. Samsung center says their backend team denied the replacement. Where should I go.
Shall I go to consumer court? or tweet this to Samsung Corporate office or post this on Facebook? Or go to publish this in newspaper?

On the 2nd November 2016, I upgraded my MTN contract to the Samsung S7. On the 9th November 2016, 7 days later, my phone overheated and stopped working altogether as well as cracked the casing of the phone. this phone is brand new and only seven days old. I took my new phone to MTN at the Midlands Mall Pietermaritzburg branch, where I told them about this, they then booked it in for repairs. I have now been waiting over a month for my phone to be sorted out. Every day, for the last 4 weeks I have been phoning the call centre to find out what the progress is on my phone. I keep getting told that they are waiting for spares, I ask what the technical fault is and they will not tell me. They keep telling me to follow up the next day. Not only am I paying a large amount for this phone that I am not able to use, this is also costing me money in airtime. The service that I am receiving is an absolute joke. I want a new phone as this phone was still under the 7 day out of box warranty, which says that should anything happen to the phone in that period a new phone will be given in exchange. the fact that it has gone in for repairs, is ridiculous. I want this phone replaced with a new one. I don't care for the service that I have 'not' received.
Please get back to me with an answer asap.

Samsung galaxy s7 edge

Thursday 24/11/2016:
So, I had my galaxy s7 edge screen glass broken (Which honestly, I do not know how) and I took it to samsung service center which is located in the mall of the emirates.
An employee whose name is wael met me with a totally unacceptable attitude and for no obvious reason he was acting offensively and respond rudely.
I told him that I am subjected to the adh program and right away he went away and let the girl there handle my case. She had almost no idea about adh and she kept asking him about the steps all the way of the process and he was barely answering.
I asked them first to provide me with a complementary device (Per the adh terms) and right away before she answered he said: “we do not have any complementary device in the meantime”. So far so good with me although I badly needed a device and I asked the girl to proceed.
Lately she told me that it will need from 5-7 working days and they are going to call me once the device is ready, so I told her that I am expecting them to deliver the device to my doorsteps (Also per adh terms). Again, he immediately replied: “we do not provide delivery service and you go and complain against us!”.
I was so astonished by his reply and I asked him if he has the right to tell me what to do, so he felt dangerous and he said: “I am just suggesting sir”. Though he was not suggesting in the beginning. Long story short I took my phone and left the showroom, called the toll-free number and complained against him, then went to mirdiff city center showroom.
Again, the guy there told me they do not have complimentary device and they cannot deliver it to my home! I am really wondering how come samsung is advertising for their adh service which has 4 terms and they do not follow 3 of them!
Sunday 27/11/2016:
I contacted the live chat service from samsung.com website to check the status of repair, they could not resist but to surprise me one more time and told me the spare part is currently unavailable and it will be fixed after 24 hours once the spare part is received.
I cannot imagine how come a giant company like samsung not having a spare part for their only remaining 2016 flagship! Specially after the note 7 disaster. What if my device was 2 years old, would I ever be able to fix it?

Samsung galaxy note 7/gear vr

I purchased my first Samsung Galaxy Note 7 through T-Mobile on 8/04/2016. Very shortly thereafter, the phone was recalled. I then received another Galaxy Note 7, which also was recalled. Shortly after assuming that all problems with the phone had been corrected with the second phone, I purchased the companion Gear VR to use exclusively with the Galaxy Note 7. When the second Note 7 was recalled, I contacted Samsung regarding how to receive a refund for the Gear VR. I was told that there was no system in place at the time for submitting a request for a refund and I should call back at a later date. Well, I have called several times since then, trying to get a refund. I recently spoke with a representative, after several transfers, who took my order information, spoke with a supervisor, then told me that she would email me a return label, shortly after our conversation. As of today, 11/23/2016, I had not received the return label. So, I called Samsung again. Again, after several transfers, I was told that I could not receive a refund because it has been over 30 days since I purchased the product, totally ignoring that the product is now useless, since the Galaxy Note 7 has been recalled. Finally, I asked to speak to a supervisor, who repeated the same thing. No refund will be provided! I purchased the product on 9/24/2016 and it has never been used because of the Note 7 recall, yet Samsung sees no reason why it should be responsible for issuing me a refund. There are other dates where I also called Samsung and was given the complete runaround as I was transferred on 5 occasions during one phone call and was also told that a supervisor would call me within 2 hrs. That phone call never came.

Samsung samsung's flagship plasma tv - dead after just 3.5yrs!!!

I am gravely disappointed in my purchase in March 2013 of the then Samsung flagship Plasma TV PN51E8000. I paid over $2000 CAD at Leon's in Whitby Ontario and took the Leon's 2 yr extended warranty as well, being told that this TV was the cream of the crop of TVs. In May 2013 I had to have the Plasma Panel replaced under warranty. Now in Nov 2016, just 6 months after my warranty is over, the panel has once again failed! A plasma TV is supposed to give the consumer [protected] hours of life, and your best model of 2012/3 has given me just 3.5 years of life! This is deplorable. I have wasted over $2000 on a TV that died in just over 3 years! Why should I buy a Samsung again if the quality is not there? I want this complaint raised to the highest level within Leon's and Samsung, since each of them have washed their hands of this saying "the TV is out of warranty". Samsung and Leon's owe me an explanation and some compensation here, especially if I am to ever purchase another Samsung TV in the future.

A very disappointed and disgruntled customer.
