Samsung Canada / service department failures

I have recently received response to my shipped mutlifunction scanner problem. The unit was damaged in shipping, one month ago. The response I received yesterday and today was that it was damaged by ups, their shipping partner, and that my more broken unit is being returned to me. Thanks.
This is the age of passing the buck when it comes to customer service, but I have to say, that samsung one upped it this week.

I am extremely displeased with their lack of solutions offered, cold and internally worded response (Oow etc. Which I believe means that it is now out of warranty). Samsung, the manufactures, staples, the partner supplier and ups the shipping, share blame, but it appears not one is looking to share ownership for a solution for a customer who is now out $250 for a multifunction printer/scanner that never really worked. Thanks samsung, you are brutal.

Please be advised

As per the receiving department

This unit is oow and also damage in transit to hinet, pictures attached, I still waiting for the pop from this customer, unit still waiting on invalid
The reasons unit became damage on transit was:
-improper box, not original and not adequated for the product size and weight
-no packing stuff (Paper is not acceptable)
-no corners or edges protection

Under this condition, ups will deny any claim submitted on this condition.

The unit is ready to be send back per physical damage
