I have made two trips to the Sams Club in Albany Ga. after recently moving to the area. The inventory was a disappointment both times. The first visit was for a few supplies and to buy a new digital camera. The camera was out of stock...Ok. Today I went to pick up some supplies for Thanksgiving and a new laptop computer. Their were more employee's in the store than customers ! Twice I asked for information from store clerks, the first one looked and me..grunted and walked off ! The second one was so busy chatting with a co-worker ... she was annoyed I would bother her for information ! I make it through checkout.. and waited 15 minutes for a manager to fumble around and finally come to the conclusion that the laptop I had just paid $800.00 for...was not in stock. She said I could have the display model...I complained that I did not want something that had been on display and trashed by the public... I offered to take it ..if I got a reduction in the price. She looked at me like I was crazy and said I could take it or leave it... no discount ! I got a refund...then after being delayed for 30 minutes, with FROZEN food in my shopping cart...thawing out... I proceed to leave...THEN the real insult comes... the [censored] door guard would not let me out the door without taking the sales ticket...NEVER one looking at it... she fumbles through my shopping cart...item by item, delaying me another 10 minutes ! I took out my Sams Club card and handed it to her in disgust...almost telling her to stick it up her [protected]@@ and swore... I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT in that disgusting establishment again..NEVER... I will drive the extra miles and go to COSTCO ...

I 100% agree about this complaint. Some corporations, included SamsClub has a bad attitude toward customers, those customers who giving your daily butter and bread. If you are an employee at a retail store you should kiss your customers ### because without them you will miss your daily meal to survive. You need to smile to them and be polite because they are not necessary have the knowledge about your staff what you are selling to them. Since you are hired at a store department your job is to help your customers who are feeding you, and please without an attitude. If your customers are cheap that is not your business because that way you just show your lowlife even if you are a retail worker or ‘manager’. You have only one main duty, smile and sell your product with a big smile on your face with a basic good attitude and you will see you will have a better day.
In a lifetime everyone will meet some point some difficult people just like you or me. Very recently in my case I had a 50lb dog food in the cart, even after I pulled it to my cash register face who took the cart, but at the door came out that she never scanned it. Or one time they telling you that you don’t need to take the dog food out from your cart but the next day they telling you need to take out the 50lb dog food from your cart to an other cart. It didn’t make sense for me but since I just take it out and put up to the register for them, but they are still has problem sometime if I do it because then they need to take it down from it. I am just trying to point out, not just your customers - but be patient especially toward your older customers because this why you hired that retail place. If you don’t like your status than take some more classes, degrees and live that retail place for others. Life is good just need to learn how to handle it and respect others. If you are a believer you shouldn’t have difficult time to understand it because in each situation you will find a way, a solution that how to handle a situation.

Dear [censor],

The employees were probably more irritated at the fact you were asking stupid questions as to where merchandise is located. They are clearly printed on large signs above the aisles. Additionally, CustomerAlwaysWrong brings up a valid point in illustrating that your membership agreement informs you Sam's Club policy is to check the receipt. Both situations share a common denominator. You don't seem to be able to read. Also, if you were willing to take the computer at a discounted rate (even though it had been mauled by the public), it is quite possible the problem isn't with the computer. The problem is that you are a cheap [censor]. No one cares whether or not you had a bad experience. Shop somewhere else and burn more money on gasoline, [censor].

Sincerely,

Anyone who has ever worked in customer service

Sam's Club policy is to check the receipt. It's in your membership agreement. Why don't you pull your head out of your [censor]?
