SalvageWorld.net Will not refund my 1,000 as stated

They asked for a deposit for a car I was biding on. Turns out I did not win the auction and I asked for my 1, 000 back and they said it would be 30 days. It has been 120 days and nothing.

They will not take my phone call nor will they return my emails I keep sending to them asking them to refund my money

From what I am read on the internet they have been doing this for a long time.

Dear Jerry Knepper,

Unfortunately, your winning bid for the 2018 CAN-AM TURBO is realistically too low for the insurance auction to consider. Many of the auctions require a minimum bid, so it is important for our buyers to place the highest offer they are willing to submit for their item. If you would like us to increase your bid, please feel free to contact us. If you do not wish to raise your offer, your account will not be penalized.

SalvageWorld.net vehicle..2012 honda crv

In 2012, I purchased a 2012 CRV from Salvageworld, an online vehicle auction company.
I paid $15, 000...
The vehicle was in the flood but was assured that it just needs cosmetic repairs...
Upon receipt of the vehicle, it was a far cry from what was promised...it was nothing but a shell...the engine was a complete burst, it would not start, not even a flicker.
After exhausting all avenues to get a refund. Alex told me that Salvage vehicle are sold as is and therefore no refund will be given.
I just cut my losses...
I will therefore want to file an official complaint against Salvageworld for fraud and for causing me so much anguish.

I want my money back

IN late 2017 I worked with Jason Kendell with a 2017 Camaro LT that I won in auction for 10, 000 after the auction I got a call from Jason telling me that (you understand that you can't get that car for that money even through you won the action) they wanted 12, 500 for the car . so I send the money in a wire to him, days later I never received a call or anything from Jason . So after 20 calls I caught him and he told me they had a problem with the title for the car and I couldn't get the car . I then was told I had to bid on another car 2017 SS with red wheels and won that car after sending more money just to bid on the SS . I won that car for 15, 500 so I send the rest of the by wire I did everything the way they told me to do it, and no car Jason was no were to be found, I got a hold of someone and they told me the company was sold and was under new managment and Jason was gone. Come to find out the SS was sold to someone else two days before . when I asked for a refund 5 weeks later they told me I didn't follow there procedures and could not get my money back I had to bid on another car well we know how that all worked out the last two times . So now they have 16, 000 dollars of my money and I can't get it back what a scam, and police can't do anything about it . These people are still doing this to people

SalvageWorld.net fraudulent practices

My complaint is how salvage world.net lies and steals money from consumers and not be charged with fraud and theft. I bought a 2000 corvette from salvageworld My contact person Jay said he got the car for 11, 700. I got the car and found out the bought the car from copart for 8000.I have the bill of sale from copart. Then Jay said it went through a different broker which is a complete lie. I spoke to an employee at copart he said that is what gsa savageworld paid. I also paid for a 82 corvette i paid for and have the paid invoice, but Jay said the owner of the car pulled the car out. Which was another lie.So they stole 3700. dollars from me. I have all receits and invoices, I also have the invoice from copart. I also told copart what they did, they couldn't believe it. From now on I'll deal with copart. Whatever you do. Do not deal with salvageworld.net.gsa llc. JAY, JONA, MARK, AND ANYONE ELSE THAT WORKS FOR SAVAGE WORLD ARE LIARS THIEFS. SO STAY AWAY FROM SALVAGE WORLD. YOU CAN READ THE REVIEWS ONLINE. ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE OUT A LOT OF MONEY. SO I HOPE THEY GET CHARGED AND SHUT DOWN. I hope they get charged and go to gail thats were they belong.I have all documents to prove my complaint. My email is included.I also made complaint to the BBB . And other people as well. So lets get these ### liars shut down. Because they are stealing peoples money every day. They won't return deposits either.

SalvageWorld.net Refused Refund

They are fraudulent and everybody that bids is considered the higher bidder until you put down a $500 dollar deposit at which point they tell you that you've been outbid. On their website they say that they will negotiate with the car insurance, however there is no negotiation. They put your bid through copart and copart is a live auction. At this point you bid against in-person bidders who are at the physical auction site. Whoever is the highest bidder at the site will win the car. There are no negotiation between Salvage World and insurance companies. I am an American Express member and many people have already complained of not getting their deposits back. I will be filing a complaint with American Express and the District Attorney. I believe we, as consumers, need to band together and create a class-action lawsuit against Salvage World. After I asked for my deposit back they suspended my account and they want to keep it for 60 days.

I sent a deposit on 2/18/2013 and after bidding and not winning I requested a refund on 6/10/2013. I have called multiple times and get the run around every time, in fact the last time I called they said that a check was sent. I said that you need to look at your records again. I have not received my refund and have not gotten anyone to call me back after I have requested that someone from management calls me. For many people $500.00 isn't a lot of money but right now it is for me. I would like to see a class action suit filed and refunds given to all plus pain and suffering for the lying that they have done.

It's seems salvage world continues to find ways to avoid refunding the consumer's deposit. My request for funding was approved by them the first week of October 2013. Here it is the middle of December and I'm told its approved and in progress. It appears is though Salvage World has hired people to answer the phone for the sole purpose of advising their consumers that they are under new management, they are reforming their bad practices and they are "promising" a response within 5-7 business days. The funny thing is that after 5-7 business days, you get another response to wait 5-7 business, and then after 5-7 business days; well, you get the picture. Salvage World has graduated from either bouncing you around from dept. to dept., to not answering the phones, to "PROMISING" a response within 5-7 business days. I feel like I'm in an endless loop. Does anyone else feel this way? Does anyone else know who to contact regarding this matter? I am 100% enthralled with the idea of a class action law suit. This company is fraudulent and needs to be shut down!

SalvageWorld.net Refused Refund

I just called [protected] asking for my deposit back and he asked me, "Do you know what time it is now in New York? It is 8:15." This was the same person that called me at 6:30 in the morning trying to entice me to increase my bid. I responded to him, "I left you a gift at complaintsboard.com." He responded, "You did? You will never see your money." I told him, "I paid with American Express and I will get my money through American Express."

If anyone would like me to join with suing Salvage World, I am ready. They just suspend my account 2 days ago claiming that I threaten and harass them.
This what happened, I bid on a car for $ 1050 then I was out of bid. I got an email from them saying call us now. I replied saying "My best offer was $1050 if you got the $ 3800 just plz sell it." Then, same person replayed "What you talking about? You did not win it, I will close your account." I sent back email saying you are the worst person ever doing business you idiot, and I need your boss contact number." Then, She replied " I am the manager and I will close your account, we do not need customer like you, Threaten us and harass us. After that, I emailed the costumer service and coping all emails I got and sent. Few minutes after I sent that email, that person sent me an email saying" I will block your email too." So I got angry and emailed her back saying to her bad names like b i t c h and S L U T and don't reach me or contact me via any media. She sent me an email after that and also called my number and left a msg saying "You forgot to add the bad names that you called me to your complaint I am the manager here." OMG. That email was after my complaint. She also, threaten me to call authorities if I called or reached that organization. By the way, this company ripping people off and I think we need to sue them.

SalvageWorld.net Will not Refund my money

Complaint Description:
On April 2, 2012. I made 3 deposits with this company of $400 each. I thought I was bidding on a vehicle but every time I actually "won" the vehicle on auction they would tell me that I dind't win the auction because someone had bid more than me. Their online system told me I won the bid, but they wouldn't honor my winninig bid. Then I decided to not argue with them and request my money back. I called them several times, and after finally gettinga hold of somebodythey said I had to wait 90 days to get my money back. I waited the 90 days and have been trying to get it back since then!THIS COMPANY IS SUCH A FRAUD! On 7/10/12 after calling several times and yelling at them over the phone becasue they wouldn't give me my money back, they finally put $310 back into my checking account. However the amount they owe me is $1200 NOT $310.00. That is when Kia Jones sent me an email, that i've attached to this complaint. This company refuses to refund me my money! I have repeated attempts to get a hold of them. They keep telling me they will refund me my money by the end of the day. This is the last email they sent me on 7/24/12, where they misspelled my name and promissed to return my money to me. They have not tried to call me at all as they claim, it is very hard to get a hold of them. I tried calling them for over two week, and only until i threatenend to get an attorney and go to the BBB did this guy send me this email. If they have proof that they have tried calling me I'd like to see it. I still havent received my money from the date of this email on 7/24/12: Hi Robert, I have tried to call you back multiple times, I'm sorry you were unable to reach me. The remaining portion of you deposit is being processed today. I will be in the office till 3pm if you would like to contact me. 7/24/12 Sincerely, Kia Jones www.SalvageWorld.net [protected] Office ext 1003

SalvageWorld.net FRAUD

On their website under "how to buy", they say that what they pay for the vechile at the auction, is what you pay, plus there fees, of which, $499 is a broker fee paid to them for bidding for you at auction. My high bid was $25500, and invoice from Copart Auction to them was$22000, plus fees of $555. They refused to return $3500 to me, as stated on their web site. GSA Auctions is a lic. Fl. car dealer. I have docs. to support these statements, give me a email address and I will send them, pdf .

SALVAGE WORLD IS A SCAM, i bought a 2007 bmw m6 which i later found out was not even in their possession which means they never even saw it. It was advertised to have had previous frame damage which was all fixed. The pictures they used were about 3 years old at the time, so the car looked really clean . Long story short. Before i bought it i asked the guy from salvage world who was taking care of everything multiple times, everything works? car drives fine? starts up nicely? frame is fully fixed? he assured and guaranteed me yes to all those questions. Its already been a year and a half that i have had this car and i havent even been able to drive it. The mechanic said (quote) "its as if someone went off roading with this car" the transmission has multiple issues which are still to this day being worked on. biggest regret in my life was dealing with salvage world. just a bunch of desperate sales men trying to make a buck and willing to do what they have to get it. once im done with this car i plan on starting some sort of lawsuit because i have a good case with the email communication back and forth with the sales guy and he falls into a bunch of lies. if anyone has tried or currently is in a lawsuit with them please contact me as to where to start. thanks

Let me tell you about my experience with Salvage world GSA auctions L. L. C... In October 2013, I bid on a 2008 BMW 650i. I received a notice to deposit money in my account in order for my bid to be considered. I deposited 1, 000.00$ by credit card, and continued bidding on this car. At the bidding expiry date, i was the highest bidder. I figure the car is mine. I receive an invoice from Salvage World GSA auctions L.L.C. with instructions to be paid within 24 hours, otherwise, there would be 50.00$ per day penalties. I called Salvage World and spoke to Chris, he confirmed my purchase, and texted me instructions on where and how to wire the money to them ASAP...and I did. However 30 minutes after wiring the full amount I return on the Salvage World site, only to find out that people are still bidding on the car, even though the date is expired...I call back Chris, he tells me that the insurance company refused my bid, and so the car remained in the block... but he told me not to worry, that he was going to contact the insurance company and try to get it at that price for me. The next day I called him again and he told me he couldn't do anything about it, if I wanted the car, I had to pay more. I told him I wasn't interested in paying more. Because transport, duties, inspections and other fees would make the car more expensive than what the car was worth in Canada. He suggested I bid on another car, to which I told him I wasn't interested and I wanted my money back. He said Ok, I would get reimbursed. Over the eight months following this conversation with Chris Michaels, I have called at least 40 times, I have spoken to Niko Giankov, Dexter, Jamie, Rubin, Jackie, Joana, Jeanly Rojo, Ava, and many more people, they tell me that they understand, they are very apologetic, for the delay...very nice very polite...BUT I STILL DONT HAVE MY MONEY! THEY ###ED ME $21.654.00... This amount still appears in my account, yesterday, I tried to bid on a car $18, 000.00, with fees and charges, it came up to $19, 154.00, When I tried to confirm my purchase, I was told to add $3, 600.00 to my account in order to confirm my purchase...but my account holds $21, 654.00... so I called Salvage world...I was put on hold, waited for 1 hour 30 minutes...and finally hung up as always...

In September I try to bid on a Mercedes Benz, but all the money that I offer was never enough. in October after several attempts I decide to close my account with Salvageworld. net and I claim for my $1000 deposit. I understand that some fees will be apply for early termination, and also I had to wait 60 days in order to receive my money. After the time and several calls I have not received my money yet. All the time is same more than 40 minutes on the phone and nobody answer the phone. I really need my money back. If somebody knows how to resolve this PLEASE let me know

I placed a bid for a 2011, Honda CR-V on their site www.salvageworld.net. they informed me I had won and sent an invoice of 11673USD.

I sent 11700USD into their account and their sales rep, James Gallardo linked me with their only haulage partner, www.ezhaul.co. I paid 1630USD for shipping to Nigeria.

John Daniels of ezhaul later informed me that the car had been removed from auction, Jame also confirmed it.

Then I asked for a refund (early termination request) and ever since then, they`ve all refused my calls, ignored my mails and keep me on endlessly if i try to reach them on phone.

I need my money to do business elsewhere and these people appear not concerned with my plights. I wished I took my time to investigate them before doing business with them. Its a shame

SalvageWorld.net - Fraud

This online auction service stole my $400 deposit! I made a deposit in order to bid on salvaged vehicles. After a few unsuccessful bids I requested a refund in accordance with the site guidelines. I received an email confirming my refund request and said to wait 6-8 weeks to process. Credit card refunds can be done immediately but this is beside the point...

SalvageWorld.net Fraud

Never put a deposit up on a car or any other part of the company.I put up 400.00 dollars a month ago on a car.It was a insurance car and my bid of 1000.00 thousand was not enough. So i ask for my refund of 400.00 and they said they refund it in a week. Now it has been a month and no refund and you can not get a hold of them thru phone or emails. I sent the CEO a email and he will not respond.Try the number at Salvage World and it is allways full. And they will not respond to Emails.

I had a similar experience, they wrote me and told me that i have won their bid that i should deposit 10% of the car value or $500 whichever one is greater and i deposited $500. After the desposit they kept telling me that i should increase my bid and i refused finally they told me that another eligible bidder has beaten me to it while trying to bid again i stumbled on write up telling tales of woes from this evil company and quickly applied for refund 7 months and still counting they are yet to refund, acknowldge, communicate in any form.

Salvage world is a bunch of crooks. Please avoid the heartache. Especially the guy called Alex Brown and his associate Samantha. The will give you a run around. Make sure to avoid by all possible means. I have had a terrible experience with them that its not even worth lamenting on this forumn. My only purpose is to prevent someone else from going through the heartache i went through. As I write this, I am still trying to get my refund back from them which i requested over a month. Everytime i call, i get put to a number that never responds and when you try to leave a message, the box is full. Everybody there is rude. I have talked to one person that is nice. Its a crappy setup and I am in the process of suing this guy. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY
