Saks/clinique Gift With Purchase / not full order shipped
I started shopping for Christmas early, on Tuesday before the Thanksgiving. Saw an amazing deal on SAKS website, buy Clinique product of $35 or more and receive a 9 gift bag of goodies. So I bought a product worth $44.50 and even suggested this website to my relatives for the Christmas shopping (and 2 bought specifically to receive this promo).
Can you imagine my surprise when today I receive a box with only 1 cream and no gift?
I contact their customer service immediately, and they tell me that the gift was not added as they ran out of supplies. (I checked website for next day and the promo was still valid, only on Wednesday afternoon they put a little red note stating that they out of supplies, after my order been placed for whole day)
Then the customer representative stated that I need to go physically to the store, give my product back, and then buy a new one. I asked for a substitute gift, and they said there is nothing they can do. Ridiculous, isn’t it?
Anyways, after such a “marvelous” experience I will never shop with them again, and won’t recommend it to anyone either.
