Sage Telecom Poor Service

SAGE TELECOM has the worst phone service you can get. They bill you 2 weeks in advance, and would rather you pay with a Credit or Debit Card, and they don't care if the card DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU!. If you mail in the payment?, then they may wait 7 days to post it to your account. They say they don't charge for long distance calls, but they do. If you get your phone shut off, then they charge you a $50.00 re-connection fee along with the final bill. It takes them 10 days to turn your phone back on, but 10 seconds to shut it off. You have to pay: (Credit or Debit of course) in order to speak to a customer service representative, if you have a problem. This person is normally a man, who's office might be in Malaysia or some other Asian Country. They are "Fast Talkers" who are: RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Their English is very broken, and very hard to understand: (And may I add) They have the nerve to get mad when you don't understand what they are saying. NEVER have I ever spoken to some one from America.They will tell you, they did'nt receive a payment, and threaten to dis-connect your service. SAGE TELECOM should be investigated by the "BBB". I'm starting to think that this company is a "Scam". I left this phone company alone over 6 years now, and decided, that all I need is a Cell Phone. (Just one Bill).

Sage Telecom Service

We filed a work order for line outage 3/19/2014. It took 7 or 8 days to get tech out to repair line, with a temporary line on top of ground crossing driveway twice. We were called 4/04/14 and told the line would be buried Mon. 4/07/14. today is 4/17/14 and the line is still on ground being driven over by large trucks, cars, and heavy equipment. Now they tell us it could be 7 to 14 days before it is buried.
This is poor service on top of having no service for 10 days to 2 weeks in the beginning.

Sage Telecom failure to deliver service

ordered residential phone service on 02/19/2014, they stated that my service would be on that following Monday. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday have passed and I still have no service. Have talked with several representatives and they all promise the same thing. I decided that I did not want to fool with them trying to feed me ANOTHER LINE OF BS and asked for a refund. I was told it would take over 30days to receive my refund if any. These people are scamming people and need to be stopped. I am going to look into starting a class action lawsuit against this company!

Took $97.54 as a deposit required for choosing Sage as landline provider & told service would be installed within 5 days (July 1, 2015) today is July 11, 2015 and still no service and every time called I'm being told At&T is having problems that they are aware of & are working to correct the situation & they( Sage) cannot give us any date of installation though they got their deposit money of $97.54 asap on July 1st.

I am still waiting for service to be connected that was supposed to be connected three days ago. No doubt that your complaint is valid. I am beyond fed-up right now.

Sage Telecom Customer Service/not representing their phone number

For the past several weeks, we received a final bill that we were due for a refund. We have waited for several months. We then called Sage to see if when was it going to get their. They told us it would be 30 days. That has went and gone. Then, they tell us it was sent to our bank...which didn't. They do not answer their phones and send it to answering agencies to where it makes the matter worse. They have no information on customers and makes you call a number which you already called. They make fun of you if you have a voice impairment, they don't care about you or just plain call you liars. They even refuse to let you talk with a supervisor. All they do is just hand up on you. We have been with then for 9 years and all they have done is not go by their standards and keep jacking up the prices. Our bank is disputing in getting our money back since they refuse to do so.

I have benn a customer at Sage Telecom for eight years. All eight years I have asked them numerouse times to please spell my name correctly for caller I.D. and phone book purposes. They would not without a copy of my drivers liscence and marriage certificut. I refused to send them. They already had my checks as proof. And, then this last bill I recieved...

Sage Telecom paperless billing

I signed up for paperless billing with sage telecom. If I didn't do so, Sage charged me a monthly .99 fee for a paper charge. Problem? Sometimes I get an email stating my bill is due, sometimes I don''t .
They charge a late fee if the bill isn't paid on time. All of my other creditors manange to shoot me an email. Sage is very hit or miss. If I don't remember to look up my account every month, I risk missing the due date on the bill. Very unreliable. Either I pay for paper or I risk having to pay a late fee.

Sage Telecom Bad service

Not only have I had problems with the line, it takes three days for someone to show up to repair and the same problem occurs within 24 hrs! They are aware I have an elderly ill parent that requires hospital to access thru phone daily and put no recording or notice on line so doctor calling in just gets no answer and customer service has no authority to do anything but report to another department and there is never a supervisor available(imagine that!) Have never been able to just call and register problem without being on hold 15+ minutes. When website access is attempted they have the nerve to require a social sec.# which they don't have anyway regardless of info and code required from your bill. Have never received a credit for time lost or explanation, yet have the audacity to print on my bill which is paid on time every month that if i refer customers, they'll give me a 50 dollar credit! There is noone i dislike enough to wish this company on and it wouldn't be worth $1000.00! When I can't reach 911 because of their crap, they'll talk to my lawyer. They've been told numerous times this is a medical necessity. USELESS!

I switched service. That's for starts, I was charged a late fee on what I thought was my last bill. I have always paid on time, so I called and asked how I could be charged a late fee on my account that is billed in advance? I did not get a reasonable answer. I was also informed that they did not prorate the bill.I lost all the money i had paid, almost a whole month, due to advance billing. needless to say, was not a happy camper!

Sage u of all people sold my service to birch, problem being I have no dial tone this is really wrong;yes old but that is an excuse, birch is nothing to me I need help birch, sage how could u leave me in a mess, been with u yr tears... please make my phone ring shara, I am the one u spoke with a little while ago, sorry shara u were sweet too old 4 for the sh=t that I listened too'patricia a watson phone charles a. watson

We are having some construction work done on our home. Diggers hotline was called in ample time, but phone lines were not marked, so the contractors inadvertently cut the line. Now ATT and sage are pointing fingers, each saying repair is the other's responsibility. Each time I try to call sage, there is at minimum 45 minutes of on hold time before speaking to a live person. When someone does finally come on the line, they put you back on hold again and again while they "check the details of your account". ATT won't even talk to me because I don't use them for service, though sage says the lines belong to ATT. I have been calling now for four hours while waiting yet again on hold with sage. At least I have plenty of time to write this review while I wait...

I must let consumers know that during this age of technology, Sage telecom charged us an additional month of service because they could not port a phone number for 30 days! What a scam...

Run for the hills please! Terrible customer service no one understands anything everyone acts like they don't understand English never will I ever deal with this company.

I have been trying to set up our voicemail. When I dial our phone number - with or without area code- I get a very nice woman in Canada. Call forwarding is not on.

Ok. just found by my friends that he has been calling me for days. so I called my house phone from his, it rang, got vm, retrieved voicemail and apparently it has not been working for days. I tried cs again. still not answer. I am being forced to fill out they customer form with an automatic reply message stating someone will call me in 1 -2 days. how can they call me? my phone does not work!
All I want to talk to a real live person.

(phone only) my bill was due yesterday 11/21/2014. I got up today 11/22/2014 to call in to make payment and they already had my service shut off. so I got online, set up an online account, and made payment. I had to go to friend's house to use their phone to call them and can not get thru. I was on hold for over almost two hours. so I fill out the contact us form and it states 1-2 business for someone to get back to me. so I am going to be without my phone for days. avoid them they don't answer! I had to call as a new customer to talk to a real person, which was useless.
I read all thru their tos/agreement and nowhere does it state service would be turned off by the eob of the due date. it doers state they have to send out a letter before disconnecting the service.
Avoid them unless you like to get it up the "whazu".

We had terrible problems with Sage. If you have a service line problem it will never get fixed. We canceled our service due to a problem in the main line that interrupted our service. We contacted them several times and the problem was fixed for a couple of hours and then was there again. We finally canceled the service altogether because it was not usable. They kept billing us every month even though the service was cancelled.
Forget trying to get anybody on the phone with this company. They avoid you like the plague if you have a service or billing problem.
Avoid this company if at all possible!
