Safeway service from cashier at andronico's safeway san francisco, ca 94122

On May 1st at 4:10pm Andronico's/Safeway was rude and insulting to me while cashing out at 4:00 PM at Funston Store, San Francisco, I feel cashier should not have said anything if I smile or not it not their business and they should do their job and interfere in m business. Safeway customer service counter

The lady working the customer service counter on Sunday April 29 at about 430pm was the rudest meanest most disgruntled employee I've probably ever had the pleasure of helping me in my life! The man in front of me was being very nice and easy going and I could tell she was rude then.. when I got there no smile no welcome I smiled and said hi barely receiving a "what can I help you with" what I was there for was something she was unable to help with however I was not angry or rude I was smiling and had my 3 year old son with me. Avoid their customer service desk by any means possible as having this unhappy "customer service" lady serve you is bound to only ruin your day

Safeway employee and store reset

Referring to your store in Conifer Colorado, , I have shopped here for years, , the reset is terrible for a mountain community, , I went to get eggs, , what a small selection, only the expensive eggs were available, , same with a lot of items, very small space, we live where you need to travel to the store only once a week not every day like in the city . You cannot run to the store everyday, , The other issue is the lady on Self Check out, Sandy, , unbelievable, She stands there with a wad of gum chewing like a trucker and then drinking water and checking her cell phone, , this isn't the first second or third time, , she definitely has attitude, , she walks away and who knows where, I have had to stand there and wait, and for what, she seems to have nothing else to do as she doesn't help any of the checkers, your lines are long is the only reason I go to self check.. I am really getting annoyed with a lot of things, , I think those poor checkers bagging and checking and trying to keep up should have a reward, but I don't think you appreciate the job they do for you, , and you expect more, , rant over

Safeway illegible receipt

To whom it may concern

I would like express my anger about a disservice received at your Safeway Store on 3380 Lancaster Dr in Salem Oregon 97305.

My name is Peter Arteaga, Safeway Club Number [protected]

It happened on Saturday April 29th around 6 pm

I was handed a totally illegible receipt. I requested a new print out as I will have to turn in the receipt for reimbursement. The check out personal (named Jeffrey) was already aware that his printer was insufficient and told me that that had happened already and that there was nothing he could do about it. He then printed out a second one for me that was as bad as the first one. Then he told me in a rather unpleasant way that there was nothing else he could do and that I would have to check with his supervisor at customer service. I queued up at the indicated place and when it was my turn the employee/supervisor informed me that the only thing he could do was to cancel one by one all my purchases and to reimburse the money. Unfortunately I was under time pressure and had to leave. The purchases were necessary and I didn't have time to "go shopping again" as I needed the food for the next day early to prepare a formal breakfast for a fellow professor at my job. So I had to swallow my pride and leave without a proper receipt. I can provide you with pictures of the receipt if desired.

I was surprised and quite annoyed about the unprofessional handling of the situation. I have been a customer for quite some time and I do appreciate the overall great service I have received at Safeway stores so far. I don't mind minor glitches and I can understand that employees can have a bad day, too. This though is a different case as both employees were well aware of the problem and didn't do anything about it. The customers following me received equally illegible receipts. I noticed that other check out stations were not manned and seemingly available. It seems to be a clear case of intentionally providing a disservice.

I would like to politely ask you to see if through my Safeway membership number you could provide me with a valid and legible receipt. Please don't send me anything else.

Overall I'm grateful for the good service I usually receive and I intend to continue shopping with Safeway, so thank you, but please help me out on this one.

Safeway plastic bag recycle

I went to the Safeway on San Antonio Rd in Mountain View Ca and was upset to find out they had removed their plastic bag recycling bins. Recycling these bags is crucial to the environment and Safeway had a responsibility to provide this service. I have a feeling a lot more of these plastics will wind up in the landfill now. Please restore this service!

Safeway very rude black employees / seeming racial harassment by blacks against asian customer at safeway.

This incidents happened at the safeway located at 2851 Del Paso Rd, Sacramento, CA 95835 on 4-22-2018 and at same location few months ago.

Complaints: black employees are discriminating Asian /american customers in the form of refusing service or looking down on with an arrogant attitude because I am an American Korea living in U.S for last 35 years who experienced these ugly incidents twice at this location.

Request for action to be taken against black employees at this location.

: Educate all of those black employees with following contents.

1. all customers should be equally treated with same serving mind.
2. All blacks in past were discriminated by whites and blacks always complain how the whites hurt blacks by refusing service at many places in past U.S history.
Because of such ugly history in America, the descendants of black slaves should not discriminate other races for whatever reasons.
3. Please have each of black employees to recite above statements in front of the store manager.

Incidents:

today: where it happened: it is where you can order sandwiches or foods or chicken made by Safeway. As soon as you walk into the store and you can find it left side. I talked to a group manager who was an Asian American regarding the incident.

what happened: I was going to buy 8 piece chicken but there was one white man talking to a black employee and was ordering his food and both of them walked a few feet away to where a cash register was located. and I was just standing looking at those chicken pieces that I was going to order waiting for her coming back to where I was standing after her serving the other man. and I was able to hear the black lady talking to the white customer and I thought the woman would come to me and get my order but suddenly I realized that there was no talk and the woman was not seen at the cash register, and I looked around and found her hiding inside the other space that was 5-6 feet away from the cash register doing something.
She knew I was standing there and waiting to be served.
I walked up to the cash register side to talk to her and asked her why she disappeared and not taking my order. At my charge she came out of that place and yelled at me with some unrecognizable excuses.
I felt this black woman did not want to serve me for some reason. that is what I felt. If she needed some time for other important cores, then she should at least come to me and tell that she would be back soon.

Second incident : 3-4 months ago . the incident location was at Starbucks.
it was around 6 am on Sat and there was only one young black girl working at the Starbucks. I was standing behind a white guy and when his turn came he approached the girl and I heard her saying " Good morning".
and when my turn came and approached her but she just stared at me till I opened my mouth for an order. I felt this young black girl ( she looked like a college girl ) was not willing to serve me at that place. Is "Good morning " only for a white guy? What in the world black girl becomes so arrogant that she even refuse to say " good morning " to me who is Korean american. I thought black should not complain about "black life matter" since they even do not know how to say good morning to other non-white customer. I called a store manager and complained of what happened and how I felt insulted by her discriminatory behavior. I do not how the manager dealt with her due to my compliant but the same incident I experienced indicates that he did not educate other black employees at all . I do believe that this kind of attitude must be much rampant among black employees at this safeway store. This should be corrected and stopped immediately.
I do not want to make a report of this type of ugly incident. We humans should keep a decency and integrity toward each other.
but somehow some blacks feel that they can serve white folks with respect while looking down on other races and refuse to serve them. I think this is most stupid attitude. Since when blacks have become so arrogant enough to look down on other races. These black employees at the Safeway store should know what is going on in the world .

I would like to ask the HR of Saveway to educate these black emplolyees at this location with my complaints.

Safeway salad mix I purchased that was recalled

Hello!

I am reaching out as a frustrated customer. I have spent thousands shopping at Safeway and the customer service dept locally is short, rude, accusatory, and disrespectful. This has occurred on several occasions. However, I am writing because I bought a salad mix pack for $5 at Safeway on 4/16. Then I realized later that afternoon when I stopped back in that all of those mixes had been pulled with signs up regarding the cdc recall on romaine lettuce. I went online and reviewed the cdc information and reviewed my package and it said all mixes that contained romaine. On April 20th, I already son to take it back with the receipt. He stated that customer service was extremely rude and refused to take it back. She snapped at him, asking where in it does it have romaine...it was The FIRST ingredient. How can your company refuse to return a recall from the cdc? The box was sealed, never opened and hadn't expired yet. Besides, I have been aomg-standing customer who spent $135 Just on that one day and it has now became an issue of integrity with your company.

Safeway no tillamook mudslide ice cream

My local grocery store is Safeway on Graham Hill Rd in Felton, CA. They are out of Tillamook Mudslide ice cream more times than they have it. This is the 3rd time in a row I've gone grocery shopping there and with the ice cream on my list and it was still out.

Oddly enough Nob Hill in Scotts Valley never seems to have a problem. Does Tillamook discriminate against Safeway or do your store just not pay attention to their inventory?

Safeway service at 2109 336th federal way washington

Hello, I typically am not one for complaints, but the service I received from the employee named Pepper was just ridiculous and rude.
She would not honor my just4u app pricing on Post cereals. The deal was $1.69 for any Post cereals sized 8.9 to 13.8 oz. There was no stipulation on which cereal it could be so long as it is a Post product. When I got to the register, and realized the price hadn't adjusted, I mentioned it to Pepper and she instantly started disagreeing with me, saying that I was wrong, so I showed her the ad in my app. Rather than deliver excellent customer service and read the ad, she wouldn't even look at it, and said that she couldn't give me the price. She even left her check stand to go to the cereal isle to say that the tags said $4.29. I tried explaining that the tag isn't the same as the app but she would not even listen to me. I was very frustrated by this point, and just left the store without purchasing any of the items I had in my bags. I am very disgusted with her terrible customer service, or lack thereof I should say. I have been a loyal customer for a long time and feel I should be reconciled in some way, and I really hope Pepper is reminded what it means to be in customer service. Safeway the security at minnesota ave in dc 20019 / discrimination

I was on my way heading in the Safeway at 9:50 and the store close at 10pm and the security have stop me and told me I couldn't come in and they lock doors before time and send a i knew my rights I ask for supervisor to be a pointed to me he didn't so since I knew my rights that's why I have a video records that he discriminated agents me by not letting me in.

Safeway farmers own milk

Guys, supply seems to be a major problem on a regular basis. Safeway in Wendouree, Vic. tell me they've complained to management for months, to no effect.
They receive less than bottles only 2 or 3 times per week & have have had many complaints.
I obtained 2 x 2L containers only, at 10.45 Friday instead of the 12L I wanted

Safeway cashier is too rude

Usually, I shop at the Safeway at 2855 E Manoa Rd Honolulu, HI 96822. Yesterday 8 PM Dark-skinned middle-aged woman cashier at that store was very rude and I am almost I can't stand her. I want to get $10 roll of 25 cents. This cashier didn't want to answer my request, She turned to speak with my companion. Telling him to help me translate 25 cents is a quarter, ask me to add please in front of the request. However, I have already said Could you help me... I have never seen such a shameful cashier. I feel sorry for Safeway to have such an employee.

Safeway service desk-"ronnie"

I have a Western Union account, but forgot the phone number I used to sign up with. When I went to the service desk, a woman named "Ronnie" helped me. When the number I gave her did not work, she sighed and explained she couldn't help without the number. When I asked if she would check a second number-she sighed and said she was trying to get to LUNCH!
I know this woman has worked there a long time and I have never had a problem with her myself-but today with her telling me-a customer-that I was delaying her lunch...! She had no smile, she just seemed annoyed that I was delaying her lunch.
I have been in the service industry for over thirty years and I was Stunned that this women, that I have watched working for the last 10+ years, would even say those words to me! She needs a wake up call and I need an apology.
I want to know that this woman has been spoken to about telling customers that their lunch is more important than the customer in front of them! Or maybe Safeway needs to look at their Customer Service training.

Safeway service

Cashier at Mill Valley, CA store

Eventhough I was buying 3 bags of fresh vegetables, the cashier, a short, fat, Hispanic woman shouted out, "Wow! That's a LOT of icecream" since I had also include 2 small boxes of WEIGHT WATCHER low fat ice milk bars.

Everyone in 3 lines turned around and STARED at me and my items. It was humliating! I don't ever want to buy anything at Safeway. I'm not comfortable shopping at your stores!

Safeway pharmacy staffing

The pharmacy at the Frank Lloyd Wright Safeway in Scottsdale is habitually understaffed. This is not only inconvenient for the customers, it greatly increases the risk of a medical error. If I am forced to move my pharmacy business to another retailer, not only does my pharmacy business go away, so does the handful of things I pick up every week when I get my prescriptions. I will also consider a complaint to a government authority such as HHS, OCR, or ONC. Please staff you pharmacy properly.

Safeway service

I have shopped at your Placerville, CA Safeway store for over 14 years, and Safeway in the SF Bay Area for 20 years before Placerville. Lately, the Customer Service in Placerville has gone so down hill... Today, we went in on a Sunday morning to do our weeks worth of shopping. Upon trying to check out with our full basket, there was 1 lane open and a VERY long line. The other line that was open was the 15 or less, which we could not use as we had a full basket. So we waited for Self Checkout.

Your self check registers are outdated and malfunction. It won't let me move items into a bag (as I can do at Savemart or Walmart). Once you put them down they have to stay. But today, the machine was very sensitive - saying "unknown item in bagging area" or "something removed from bagging area" when we had not touched it. We had to wait for the employee to clear the error at least 8 times in our 5 minute checking out process. We were very frustrated with it, but also your employee Tina was frustrated. You had so few lines open that self - check was slammed. Tina was so busy trying to help everyone with their error messages etc... that by the final time we asked her to clear something she gave us attitude - as if we had done something wrong. We said "hey, we don't need the attitude here" and her reply was "you have not seen my attitude yet..." My husband wanted to walk away and leave our basket sitting there half checked out, but I persisted we just get it and go.

We will now go elsewhere for our groceries, after most of a lifetime at shopping at Safeway. If you had more lines open, there would not be so much frustration. If your machines worked well or were updated with more efficient software (like Walmart and Savemart) there would not be such frustration.

We were the customer and don't think Tina should take her frustrations out on us. We were nothing but polite until her attitude flared. I would like to hear back from you to tell me what can be done. Thank you.

Safeway bakery

Hello My name is Aimee, I ordered a Chocolate Monster High Cake for my daughter's birthday on 4/10/18 for it to be ready 4/11/2018 at 5pm. When I arrived 4/11/2018 to pick up my order the cake was made but the decoration of Monster High figures were not on. I asked for them and they said they were out of stock. My cake looked like a Halloween Cake. As you know the cake is one of the main items in a Birthday Party. The gentleman did discount 5 dollars but I honestly didn't want the cake anymore. But how am I going to have no cake for my daughter's birthday party. I am upset that no one called me and communicated that they were out of stock, so couldn't change the decoration choice. Everyone questioned the cake and I had to explain my intention was Monster High not Holloween. I am disappointed that my daughter's cake turned out the way it did. My daughter only turns 9 once and I wanted to surprise her with her favorite characters on her favorite flavor of cake. Please contact me with any question my email is [protected]@yahoo.com.

Safeway waiting in line

Hello, I regularly shop at the Safeway at 815 Canyon Del Rey Blvd, Del Rey Oaks, CA 93940. I also shop at our Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods. The majority of the times I have been to that Safeway there are very long lines to checkout. Employees at that store seem very rude and I am almost to the point that I will completely stop shopping there because of it. There is no reason I should have to wait 10-15 minutes in line at a grocery store. This seems like a gross mismanagement of labor as I am sure that 1-2 extra employees on staff would solve this problem.

Safeway products out of stock and lack of checkers at busiest times and electric cart.

For about the last year, since they got a different manager, the days or way they stock has changed, every time I shop and I mean 100% of the time, one or more products, I am looking for, usually more are out of stock and this is in every department with exception of the small Deli I seldom use and the pharmacy. Most on sale products are empty very shortly after sale starts.
I have shopped here for well over 30 years and this is far the worst it has ever been.
Next is checkout, there are never enough checkers at the busiest time of day like from 3 to 7pm. I wish I had a picture, but I will explain as best I can. There is one 15 or less item check stand which many times has 6-7 people backed up with generally two other check stands open with 4-5 sometimes 6 people waiting. Very occasionally they will open one more and it sure makes a difference. The end caps are so close to checkout people have to line up down the isles, which makes it hard for other shoppers and impossible to get from one isle to the next without going back down that isle. This is especially tough with the electric cart, which leads to my 3rd issue. There is one (1) electric cart, there needs to be at least two, it is a small town, but sometimes people can't shop or have to wait. It is also located on a ramp well away from the door making it hard for some people to even get to. They should be on level floor and very close to the door!
I've probably said more than enough, just got irritated enough to say it all at once.

Safeway customer service

A manager that works at safeway on 4th & king st.in san francisco ca keeps profiling me every time I shop here. I am very offended & something needs to be done about this. This is the second altercation I have had with this manager & would like something done about this. This is unfair to me & my experience. I'm not sure what this guy name is but I put pictures below of the person who keeps doing this to me.
