my contract was up with them, i called to revise the new contract for a lesser amount per month (dropped the maintainance fees), they sent me the new contract, I signed it sent it back and yet month by month the continued to bill me for the original contract. calls, calls just did not help. I just stopped paying hoping they will discontinue my service. Last week my wife received a phone call from a man calling fron Safe Home Security (caller id) saying he was an attorney and is planning to take us to court for the amount of $1, 200.00 +/- . Let them, i have a copy of the revised contract and all of you behind me.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I wish I had seen this website before I fell victim to the same scam. How can these people still be in business? Did you ever speak with the Federal Trade Commission or any other organization? Have you ever gotten out of the contract? Were you able to cancel in October 2015?
I totally agree. This is the worst, most deceitful company I have ever dealt with. My mother-in-law had a contract with them. She passed away nearly a year ago. We called to cancel and they said we could not. We explained that she was deceased and that the contract was with her. they said it did not matter. They wanted to charge an exorbitant price to cancel, so we were strong-armed into to keeping it. They said the contract would be up in October 2015. My husband called to cancel and was told that the contract was not up until October 2016. In October 2016 it would most likely not be up until October 2017. What a rip-off! They should be forced out of business!
I had a security contract with a local NH company on property in NH. It was a 1 yr contract subject to cancellation at the anniversary. I was notified by Safe Home Sec. that they had bought the service. When I notified them that I wanted to cancel the contract, they said I had signed a 3 yr contract and sent me a copy of it. The signature on the contract was not mine and I notified the company that I had never seen the contract and certainly had not signed it. I continued to get bills and harassing phone calls. My attorney called their collections officer on numerous occasions without satisfaction, and was unable to be connected to someone in authority in the company. The bills with interest and late fees continue. Because they have filed this "unpaid bill" with the credit reporting agencies, I have just been notified that my credit card line has been reduced.

US..THEY ARE THE MOST AWFUL PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH..BATTERIES FOR SYSTEM WHICH I HAVE SERVICE CONTACT,
I PAID RADIO SHACK $27.00 EACH. THEY CAME MY HOUSE 6 MTHS
AGO AND SAID I HAD SOME THINGS THAT HAD BEEN RECALLED,
THE SERVICE PERSON WAS THE ONLY NICE THING ABOUT THIS
COMPANY..I HAVE ONE YEAR 3/25/10 LEFT ON THIS CONTRACK
I WOULD HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ALL OF US OUT...
