I signed up with Safe Home Security more than a year ago. My service with Guardian had a few months to go so they waited till then to take over. The only thing they did was install 3 batteries and broke one sensor and didn't tell me that they did. I called them to repair my system because of two false alarms and they said I didn't have a monthly service agreement ($9.99) so it would be better to sign up for that to save me service calls etc. I agreed to start the service agreement and they attempted to make a service appointment . They soon called back and said their technition was not going to be in the area and "HE" would call and make an appointment. This NEVER happened. I called and called NEVER got to talk to anyone ! Suddenly my bill was reimbursed for the $ 9.99 service plan and they started billing the $ 29.99 again. I finally talked to a gentleman (and I use the term very loosely ) and told him due to this I wanted to cancel my agreement due to their lack of fulfilling their agreement and He said he would have to talk to the accounts manager and have him call me back... YEA RIGHT ! It is nearly impossible to call them and get any thing accomplished . I'm paying for a security system for 9 months that is completely inoperable and useless ! THEY cancelled my service agreement NOT me so they breached their own contract . They should have followed thru with making good their service agreement ...but they DON'T. I am consulting my attorney to file a suit and contacting the BBB to report their dirty tactics. I hereby am requesting a full refund for the last 9 months of service payment and CANCELLATION OF MY SERVICE effective immediately ! 7/10/2017 I am now disabled and cannot afford to make payments for a useless system.

Safe Home Security DOES NOT keep their end of the contract and their "repairmen" are liars! My system hasn't worked at very minimum the last two years and every time I've called to get service repair, they say they'll be in contact with me to schedule a time. That never happened until this Summer when the repairman would call me and tell me that he was going to be arriving at my house in 15 minutes or that he'd be in the area for the next 30 minutes without any prior notice so that I can arrange time off work. However, what the repairman was documenting with Safe Home Security was that he had confirmed the appointment and that customer was not home when he arrived. Safe Home Security does NOTHING to protect their customers, but are loyal at collecting the monthly dues AND a $37/month late charge if you refuse to pay them until they get your unit fixed. Today, I called to talk about the lack of repair to the nonworking unit before paying them what is due. I was told that Safe Home Security had upgraded their system and that I would need new equipment and that it would be an additional $12/month, but they "understood my frustration with my unit not working, so they were only going to charge me $5/month." What?! I had had enough and decided to cancel my service, rather than to keep dealing with their RIP OFF service. I was charged an early termination fee of $1828.50 for a service I had working for about a year. I'd rather eat the $1828.50 than to allow them to continue charging me for a darn service they are not providing and they ARE aware they are NOT providing it. SAFE HOME SECURITY = RIP OFF. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Installed a system in September and found out that my building (work) sold and I had to vacate as they were tearing down the building. I called SHS and told them the situation, they said no problem they would come and remove the system and relocate it to another address. I gave them a 5 week notice, talked to "John" a couple of times he sent a new address contract and had me sign he said I couldn't get out of the contract unless I paid the unpaid months which totaled 3200.00 with a month notice letter. When I didn't hear back from him after I signed it I called to see when they were coming to take it out He said it was scheduled for the 29th of January (Friday)I said ok and reminded him that that was the last day as I wouldn't be there past the 1st of February (Monday) the day came and went with no one showing up. I tried to call the 30th and the lady said the company that does the installs do not work weekends and she would get back to me on Monday. I again explained they are tearing the building down and I wouldn't be there. I heard nothing on Monday, called Wednesday and was sent to Johns voice mail. today is no over so tomorrow will be calling again(friday) I feel they violated the contract when they didn't hold up to the uninstall/reinstall agreement.
