old and out to date postings should be taken off the internet. i was going in one of your stores and a couple of guys were coming out just a complaining. one guy said to me dont buy anything from them. he didnt know me and i didnt know him. so i asked why and he proceeded with his rant. he seen the cost of something on the internet and he drove to the nearest store to buy the product. only to find out it was an out dated posting and that price was no longer good. so the price i seen was on the internet too so i figured that was probably no good so i turned and left also. thanks ron gamble

Rural King arrow commander chd1030 shed 10'x30'

I am not a very happy customer. I have just started using Rural King products after we moved to an area that had a store nearby. I was looking for a shed to used for my boat and noticed the one mentioned above for $900 and some odd dollars. I knew this was a great deal because these sheds run around $1900 usually. I assumed it was a clearance price. I purchased it, putting it on my credit card. I saw the Visa transaction on my online banking site and waited for its arrival.
When I purchased it I was told that I would get a confirmation email. I waited but none arrived. I finally called after several days and was told that the shed had been placed on back order and that it would not arrive at my home until July or so (this was around 6-8 weeks later at the time). I was asked if I still wanted it with the wait being so long and I said, "Yes, of course." I waited and I noticed that my credit card statement that arrived in the mail did not have the shed transaction on it. I thought it could be because of the wait.
I called your customer service line and was told that the whole transaction had been cancelled. I asked why was I told that I could wait before by email but now, on the phone, I am being told the whole purchase is null and void. The man on the phone said that Rural King ran out of the sheds that were being sold online at that price, and that once it was realized there weren't enough the transaction was voided followed by an email being sent out notifying people what happened. I told him I never received an email and still haven't received one regarding this cancellation. He said that it was sent, but that simply is not true. I have few emails sent to the email account I have on file with your company.
I let this go but then asked him why wouldn't Rural King honor the deal we made online--- when the new shipment arrives just send it along? He said that Rural King wasn't sure when they would receive another shipment of these particular sheds. I knew now what had happened. I knew that I was being played for a fool. I knew that Rural King most likely owns a web site not programmed up to speed and it allows multiple sales of a product they don't have enough of. Instead of honoring these sales Rural King plays it quiet and waits for people to grow discouraged forgetting the whole matter.
I don't know how I could be told by one representative that I will be getting a back ordered shed, but then the one on the phone tells me I am basically out of luck. I don't like to be told by your man on the phone that you may not be getting in any more sheds knowing full well you would be. Your site sells them right now for $1, 623.99 down from $2, 319.99 once you add it to your cart. When I was looking they were around $1, 950 and when you added it to your cart it dropped to around $925.
I like your store but I refuse to go back into it until this is taken care of. I would like the shed I purchased to be back on the table at the sale price that I purchased it at. I want to say it was roughly $925, plus $206 for shipping. I could be off a few dollars. I can get my bank to send me all transactions on my Visa if you require proof. I debated on pushing this any further but after talking to my father-in-law he was adamant that I reach out and give Rural King a chance to make this right. Thank you.

Rural King mower canopy

When I ordered the canopy for my new lawnmower there was never a weight of the product mentioned. I recvd the order and the box was so heavy and bulky that it was hard to pick up and move. I got a scale and it was around 48lbs. I pulled out the plastic canopy part but nothing else and realized it was way too heavy to put up high on a zero turn mower and mow slopes like I have. It would be very unstable and certainly not safe for my daughter and wife who actually use the mower.
Contacted Rural King and asked about the weight, the lady did not know and could not find the weight. She had to call the manufacturer and ask. I told the lady It was too heavy for my mower and needed to return. They did not help with the return. It was so heavy that it was going to cost $65 to ship back and I used my Fed Ex account and it was reduced a little.

They recvd the merchandise and I finally got a credit which was the original price minus 20% + the shipping of the unit to me in the first place. I have never heard of this. Why would they charge the shipping to me of the product plus 20%?
The product was returned in the original package (box) and was never unpacked and I paid the freight back. I had to absorb 20% of the cost and the shipping to me + the freight back to them when they purposely leave the weight of the product off of the technical description, because had I seen that weight, I would not have ordered.

The cust service was VERY RUDE and EXTREMELY SHORT with me and unrelenting, so I turned to my bank card for help. Out of a $207 charge, it has cost me $95 and I still had to buy another style for $307 (not from them) making my cost $402, which only weighs 30lbs, a big difference in the center of gravity for the mower.
WILL NEVER BUY FROM RURAL KING AGAIN.

Rural King customer service on a air conditioner return

I bought a air conditioner on the 11 installed it and it didn't even work, we had it uninstalled and repackaged, we went to rural King in owensboro where purchased on the 15 and the ladies Janet and Brittany at customer service argued with me about how we had returned it on the day after purchased, if so I said how do I have the a/c and the receipt, they where very unprofessional at their job, and I still haven't got my refund on my air conditioner that I have paid 300.00 for and it don't even work

Rural King customer service, wait time

Last several times getting feed at Rural King, I've had to wait unreasonably long for help loading on to cart, then wait again for loader help after checkout. This week, after returning to front desk to get someone to help in that department, I waited and no one came. I loaded the bags onto my cart, and now my back is hurting from twisting with the weight of the feed.
I will shop in the future at our local co-op where you simply back up to the dock, go to the desk and pay for your order and they load it.

Rural King bedford, indiana store

The air conditioner is not working in the Bedford, Indiana Store.
It is miserable in there for the employees let alone the customers.
If you would replace the air conditioners you would have less call ins. No one wants to work in that heat!
Customers would increase in volume and they would stay in the store longer and buy more. No one wants to shop in that heat!
Replacing the air conditioners would pay for themselves in no time.

Rural King mower

Purchased a 3000 Husquvarna and bought extended warranty, I will never use the year I bought had to take it in 4 times manager of the Tiffin Ohio store informed my husband that they found nothing wrong with mower, he even lied to us saying his mechanic mowed 2 hours with it, well it has an hour meter and it was a half hour. SO after driving 71 miles one way to take mower in 4 times cause we enjoy wasting gas money and time with 4 unmowed acres to dink around and get it back messed up worse then when we took it in. I originally called the store we bought it at and was told we had to take it there well Husqvarna has a 3 year warranty and after 4th time and manager being ridiculous I called husqvarna and they told me I could take it right here in town we live in. It was in shop 3 weeks and today we got it back, the gasket seal was bad, carburetor was full of dirt from this and muffler was bad, and pulleys for driver arms were over tightened. The guys at local shop were knowledgeable and did a great job first try to fix it. We bought our mower in Tiffin as at time was closet to were we lived, now we live the distance away but if they were good at fixing what I bought from them wouldnt mind the drive but insulting us because you and your staff are incompetent at your Tiffin, Ohio RURAL KING is not acceptable and believe me we tell everyone we know in Findlay Ohio and also Lima Ohio to steer clear of Rural king unless you enjoy a 3000 yard ornament

We took are lower in to get a part out on and the Mower Man said a twenty min fix, kept it two weeks, said he had to order a part, a week later said it was fix we went and paid for it, and Mower two days with it, and it stop, had it looked at Man lied, he didn't even put a part on, Rural King said was having problems with him, have called them, Six times said they would get us a part and a gift card, Still no one will give us a part of even talk to us says they will take care of this, will never go back there, it's in Muncie Ind! Next call is channel six news, We are both handicap Shame on Rural King

Rural King chicks and rabbit

We bought a beautiful black female rabbit. The sign said the rabbit had papers; the sales person and the front desk staff could not find the papers. The rabbit was sold to them by a young lady. I was told to call back the following day. The manager would have the name of the seller and the papers. I called and spoke with the manager, she did not know where the papers were, I asked if she could give me the name of the person who brought the rabbit in. She was not comfortable doing that, so I asked if she could call the person and obtain the information for me. I called back the next day and was told they did not have the name of the seller, but the seller would need to come in to get her payment for the rabbit. I have not heard anything for a week. The store bought a rabbit from an individual, the rabbit has a tattoo, it is is advertised as having pedigree papers and the store can not find the name or the phone number of the rabbit seller who doesn't receive payment until the rabbit is sold. Who does their invoicing? I was buying a rabbit for a grandchild to show in 4-H. How does this get fixed? We bought the rabbit on May 26th and the store does not have any information on the seller or the rabbit and it is now June 21st.

We also bought 12 Cornish meat chicks that somehow grew into Leghorns! They are of no value for our 4-H meat pen project! They are going to reimburse us for those, but it was to late for them to correct the error.

It was a bad day at Rural King!

I brought some rabbits in for them to sell 5 and I bought them in two weeks before mother's day and still haven't seen any check in the mail for the rabbits and its 06/06/2022. They said I should get one before it had been a month after taking them in. I called a week ago to tell them I didn't get one and they said they would call back and still haven't heard anything. Plus I asked them if I should get a paper or something saying I sold them to them and they said no we just send you a check at your address. Seems odd and like I said still no check.

Rural King falling in parking lot in ohio - liability claim denied not good

I fell in a rural king parking in march 2018 after a heavy snowfall with advisories all of ohio into indiana. I made an incident report there with 3 employees, slipped and fell forward landing on left knee, bruising, bleeding, hard to walk. One of the employees told the other 2 at my vehicle to watch out for the hole in the parking lot and not fall. Your insurance co. Denied my claim. I had to go to the doctor, was off work 2 days and went thru the hassel of getting this info for your claims company and still denied. I called the company in ar they are rude, won't reexamine my claim even thou I stated to them hole in parking lot covered with snow and ice. I will never shop there again. This is not right at all. You know you can win with a liability co in ar. Rural king is al fault!

Rural King a rule that doesn't make sense...

I purchased a fire arm from you all... I double clicked on the computer and I got flagged because I double clicked by mistake...So then I was told that I could not purchase any
more fire arms from any Rural King., .. still trying to figure out wat type of rule that is... Bought a fire arm from u guys...but couldn't buy another one... nice store insanely crazy rule...to be band from buying a fire arm because of a mistake come on...

Rural King rk 19 tractor

Bought a new rk 19 tractor in ashland kentucky a pin that helps raise and lower the blades is missing.
My husband has tried many times to have this part delivered to him! He's getting the run around for the last 5 days! I myself have filled out many complaint forms and no one cares!
If this problem isn't fixed i'm loading the tractor up on a trailer and sit in the parking lot at rural king and tell everyone how they treat their customers!

Rural King my paycheck is wrong!

I was told by a manager when I get paid I don't get paid for the two weeks I just worked but the two weeks beforehand. I had to leave for a king to do 24 hour care with my grandmother at home, I quit May 19th 2017 on a Thursday the Tuesday after I had got paid therefore from what I was told I should be getting another paycheck today June 5th 2017 I called in was told I will be getting $12 and some odd sense. That doesn't make sense because before I get paid after I quit I had a total of 4 days which was 22 hours $8 an hour therefore multiply that before taxes that should be $176, yet somehow I'm only getting $12 and some odd sense. I would like I would like to get this situation figured out I have no job doing 24-hour care for my grandmother with no money therefore also no gas if I have to go to the store and get necessities then my grandmother needs no one else in my family will help me out. Rural King is my favorite store it always has been but for some reason I feel like I'm getting screwed over if you could please get back with me as soon as possible that would be great, good day.

Rural King chickens

We bought all of the Cornish Cross chickens being sold at the time and they aren't eating and growing like they should. We found out we actually got leghorns. We called and complained and we were told they didn't give us the wrong chickens but we actually got told they are leghorns so we wasted 2months (as shown) of feed on leghorns not Cornish cross and now we can't keep them. These are not 2minth old Cornish cross, they should be much bigger. These are 2lbs and should be atleast 6lbs

Rural King flowers

I bought several flowers this year from Rural King, planted them according to instructions, and most of them were dead within 48 hours. I bought the right soil to plant them in, I water them per instructions, and I couldn't bring any of them back to life. One of the plants I bought was a pink hydrangea and it died by the next morning...went back to rural King to see if they had anymore and all of the ones left were dead as well. It's really a shame to spend the money I spent only to realize it was a waste.

Rural King customer service/products

This is the second day that my husband has had to go to rural king in effingham illinois after work. He has medication he needs to take but can't because he has gotten stuck at the store both nights due to pure neglegence on rural king's part. We work hard for our money and have just moved to an area approx. 30 mins away and needed a mower then a trailer to haul it home on; so therefore it is a couple thousand dollar transaction. He has spent a total of 4 hours in the last two days at your store in effingham. Last night was due to the "state" website going down (sorry, not my problem) and all he got was an apology for a several thousand dollar transaction and no money knocked off the total cost for his time wasted or troubles with your technology/co partners. He was told he would get a call when they were ready for the mower to be picked up, well it was not ready upon arrival today. He had to wait for a couple of other mowers to be taken apart for our brand new mower to work? No this is not how something is supposed to work when you purchase a brand new item from a store. I hope this will work when he gets home because this is already ridiculous, I am so glad we did not buy the $11, 000 dollar tractor like we had talked about and will not be purchasing it from rural king unless we are at least reimbursed for our time spent in the store and no a rebate card doesn't count! This is ridiculous! Is this how customers are treated no matter how much money is spent at your store? I will have you know we priced two other stores including tsc in newton, il, and our local walmart store who price matches... We went with rural king because of the financing options and the warranty that was included with products. I am very upset as I attempted to call the effingham store and it rang for a solid 2 minutes, so I hung up to try again in case of phone issues, and the phone was taken off the hook! So I called a customer service phone number I found on google, spend 8 minutes on hold then was told the only way to contact customer service was through email. Imagine how furious I am, I am friends with people in many states that have rural kings as well as sister companies and I will tell them how horrible of an experience I had as well as post on every swap site and social media site if this is not made right some how. Also keep in mind we will need to purchase a tractor (and a trailer to haul said tractor) home from the store and if this is not made right we will spend double the money somewhere else in our area that is just up the road a few minutes instead of the 30 minute drive to your store. I expect a phone call from a manager asap [protected]

Rural King online crazy cow boot order

My complaint is the same as most every one else. Said in stock so I ordered the boots and now going on three weeks still no boots. It still says in stock online. They sent an email and said they are out of stock. Bad bad company. If it is out of stock state this online so other's will not be frustrated as I am. Many complaints all with the same issues even on BBB website.

Rural King manager

I was in the Sweetwater Rural King early Tuesday morning. I was in the clothing. I had asked a young lady for help and she explained to me she was off the clock. Understandable. As I walked away I heard I'm assuming, a manager tell her "we don't pay you to stand around and talk" she then laughed and stated it was time for her to leave and he replied "then leave"

I found it to be very rude! Does your employees not get to shop? Or do what they want on their times off? I work in HR for my company and if I heard a manager speak to another employ on the floor in front of customers that way they would be wrote up. Unacceptable.

Rural King red bird soft peppermint 46 oz. package

There's really a stale kind of taste to the candy and I'm really disappointed in the amount of crushed pieces and alot of the wrappers are busted open with candy all crushed up in the bottom of the bag.. It was my first online order with your company and probably my last... I'm disabled and my wife has stage 4 uterus, lung, and brain cancer, so she has alot of problems trying to find food she can eat and those peppermints are something that soothes her stomach when she gets sick from chemo. We order almost everything online since she got sick in December. We actually use to buy alot of clothes and other items from the Greenville, Ohio location when we were able to travel easier but with my disability and her sickness all our strength is used to go to medical appointments. Its just disappointing to get something that seems like it was thrown around with no concern to the fact that someone will be purchasing the item.. I guess we'll just get them from the redbird website from now on and everything else from Walmart

Rural King manager complaint

My name is David Fuller and I was in Rural King in Winchester Kentucky Wednesday 3-21-18 between the hours of 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. I was stopped at the front registers by the manager whose name was Gus and he accused me of stealing and made me empty my pockets and raise my shirt in front of all the employees and customers. It was very humiliating and it was not the correct procedure. I was not in there to steal I simply went in there to buy some things but I decided not to because I had a puppy in the car. So I was just going to come back. I did no wrong he simply stop me because I stepped over the chain blocking the pathway between the registers and immediately started accusing me. I will be calling to talk to someone at corporate tomorrow about the situation my lawyer told me that would be the best thing to do for the first step.

Rural King rule king credit card

The credit card email that I had received said apply and receive 7% off your first purchase. I received my credit card went to the store this Saturday made our first purchase spent $755 and bought a generator. When I looked online I had seen that my credit card did not have a discount on it after talking to many different people on the phone and given many numbers I was told to call the store where we purchased the generator. It was supposed to have been taken off at the register I did not know that and neither did The person at the register. After calling speaking to the manager the only thing they can do is give me a 10% off my next purchase This will be nothing because we have no plans on purchasing anything large if I would've got the rebate it would've been $53 off ! I feel like since they said they could not fix anything with that purchase which I do not understand because they could've just took all that off of my receipt reran it all with the 7% or gave us a $50 gift card! This is the reason I applied for the card

Harvest Card rewards change and I have tried to find merchants list who participate on gas and dining and etc. to no avail ! Don't like not getting 5% at RK anymore ! Where is this information available so that I know where to buy my fuel and etc. ?
