Rural King wood pellets

this message is in reguards to the connellsville/Dunbar Pa store. This has been going on since mid November. Now it is the first week in December and I have been able to purchase wood pellets once. Very Very bad store management or order forecasting. Ive wasted several trips to the store to keep hearing the same thing, SOLD OUT. Hummm... Begining of winter cant keep pellets in for more than a few days. Obvious answer! Quit losing thousands of dollars and get somebody to run your store who has just the slightest bit of forecasting talent. Its wasting our time as customers and giving franchise a bad name. loyalty will only go so far, and several others and myself are not going to give many more chances. I never complain about anything but i felt that coorperate needs to know before they loose local ties. Richard Hart. [protected]@live.com

Rural King service

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Ordered Nov 10, priority shipping, told on 15th it shipped on 13th, then told on the 20th it didn't and was going Fed Ex that day. I cancelled the order right then, and was told to reject the package, which I did and a refund would be forthcoming. When I called back on the 30th because I still don't have the refund, was told they had to wait for package to return and issue an RMA. Still no refund from them, but PayPal returned my money after I filed a dispute with them. Every call is a different excuse. NEVER order from this place.

Rural King loading skid onto trucks

11 / 28 / 17 I was at Rural King and picked up two skids of feed period when signing the load out I was informed it was used to give credit to the worker loading me. While loading my truck, the elderly gentleman on the fork truck stepped on the gas and rammed my tailgate. So hard it buckled the tailgate. Ask to see a manager, the assistant manager informed me he wasn't there. Said he would be there Thursday and she would have him call me. Never received a call. The assistant manager informed me that when signing the load out, it's released Rural King of liability. My problem is when you have inadequate help loading and my problem is when you have inadequate help loading and they ran into my truck that there is a problem. My truck is a newer one ton truck. My insurance is $1, 000 deductible. So I have to eat this cost because of your help or your equipment. Doesn't make much sense to me hope other people beware

Rural King customer service

I went to the decatur IN rural king over the weekend I noticed a manager named Kim to be very unhelpful because she was more concerned about the man she was walking with. I noticed she was making everyone else work and not herself. I don't find it fair that I was asked to leave at closing time even though I had a shopping cart of merchandise while the man she was walking with was able to stay past closing time.

II will not go to Vandalia rural King again. The employees are not properly trained to respond to customers and they do not seem to care about serving customers. They really enjoy standing in cubical around registers and visiting with each other. I waited 15 minutes to check out two weeks ago in the evening and I never got an answer about a big buddy heater hose from them, so I did not purchase from them. No one was interested in waiting on me so I finally left. Yesterday I stood at counter to check out about ten minutes and when cashier came forward she told me to step back so another customer could get checked out. I could not believe this. I left cart where it was with about forty dollars of things in it.Rest assured, I will not shop at any Rural King again and I will tell my friends about this store. I think jon should watch employees better

Rural King setting associates up to fail.

I currently work for Rural King store number 74. From the time I've started I've noticed the lacking in training and giving associates proper tools to do thier jobs. Our bathroom is one example, an outside company should be hired to clean it because they have proper training and the proper tools however this store puts it on the loaders and cashier's with the only tools is those brown paper towels that spread matter not soak it and the glass cleaner used to wipe counters is what's provided to clean. The popcorn machine pump now has to be hand dipped by the cashier's and they're expected to keep up with customer service while destroying thier clothes. The fan that keeps the service desk cool is broken and even if it weren't they've blocked the air flow. There are very few raises and no one is fully trained because the rules change with each manager, the lack of communication makes this store less efficient than it could be. The loaders are expected to take out trash late at night after store closes and they're off the clock. I've only been here 3 months but it's obvious that this store does not care about it's associates and unhappy associates means a poorly run store.

Rural King wrong poulan pro synthetic oil

I orered 2 3.2 oz. bottles of Poulan Pro Synthetic Oil and paid 7.90 for express shipping [which was more than the 2 items cost] 2 weeks later I emailed them about where it was and they replied the store was out of stock and they would send it to another store. 4 days later it came and was not what I ordered. Poulan Pro Semi Synthetic Oil. Maybe it would be ok but, I'm not a 2 cycle engineer and just don't know. I emailed them and told them about it and said I would write it off as a learning experience not to buy from them again and I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of sending it back. Their reply was sorry, if you want, call this number so we can help you. I'm not calling. I found it on Amazom cheaper and free shipping with Prime.

Rural King employees

I just want to say I have been disappointed the past few times I have been in Rural King in Farmington Missouri. On of the employees there by the name of Ashley is such a rude person. Listening to the way she talks to other employees and to customers is just down right awful. I don't know how they can keep someone like that working there. I know if I was an employee there I would not stay there having to deal with someone like her. I think the main people need to watch her and watch how she does things.

Rural King how an employer treats customer and employees

There is a girl named Ashley at the Farmington Missouri store that is terrible to her employees and customers. I have see her walk around doing nothing and making all the others do stuff while she talks to whoever is around. There will be lines of people and she will not go help the other employees. She has another employee that lives with her named Abby that she gives special privilege to. She is very unfair with things and I don't think she should be an CSM at all. I know of a few people who have already quit that place because of her and a few more of the good workers are about to leave there. Something needs to be done.

Rural King they treat customers and employees horrible

I went into Rural King in Farmington MO to buy a few thing's in Pet's and feed. There is a girl there who I always go to bc she is super friendly and knowledgeable. When I asked for her another employee with a gun vest on told me she was fired. I was shocked at how rude this girl was and how she seemed to get joy out of telling me this. Well I went and loaded up my cart bc I didn't have time to go anywhere else. As I was shopping there was a group of employee's standing around talking, I heard them talking about Jen the gal I asked for. They were all bragging about how they got her fired and how they were so proud of getting employee's to file complaints against her and how her daughter came in faking being sick. I called a friend of mine who knows her and she said that Jens daughter had a heart attack AT RURAL KING and they fired her for missing work while her daughter was in ICU! I went in line to pay for my items and stood in line for more then 20 minutes. I heard the girls up front call for a mgr and some short girl with purple hair, the girl with gun vest and another girl in plain clothes got on radio and was very rude when replying then started talking about getting one of the girls in service desk fired next. I left my cart sit right where I was and walked out! I hope Rural King goes out of business and I will never step foot in there again! I thought family center was bad but this place is worse! I forgot to mention they have an infestation of mice and mites in feed. Food for both humans and animals is expired and while walking I saw 3 different mice running around and over an inch of mites on feed bags! Disgusting for a newer store but not shocked based on mgmt and employee's behavior. BOYCOTT RURAL KING not union or union built and WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE!

Rural King suzie, hp.

In September I submitted a resume about a job interest I have been looking for being a minor. I then followed up with weeks and have turned in everything that was required from me to them. I got my 1st interview through the phone and everything seemed as it was going as planned until Susie, did not put my background check in, until about 1-2 weeks ago. I called once a week now, every single week following up to now. She says there was a change in the head manager, and that they now have something going on with hours. I was promised job and would love to work the company of Rural King. Since the beginning of it coming to Parkersburg ; I was very interested in working with the company. When going into the store I asked if they were hiring, and they did say they were hiring 16 years old and I then out my application in. I am very confused on what my next steps should be. I got told I was forsure hired for working with the company and would love to start. I just have been now going on 2 months of waiting for someone to take the next steps with me. I would love to hear feed-back because I myself do not know the next steps to take. I was told today that there was a chance I would have to wait 3 more weeks to even be called in for orientation.

Rural King complaining on employee

And employee named Jodi is one of our customer service desk clerks and is a rather rude employee to customers amd other employees.She is sleeping around with certain staff members on and off the job some being with management.Few employees have caught her using drugs on the clock and on premises.one of her co workers at the desk has seen her deal drugs on site and even shown up to work drunk and smelled of alcohol.something needs to be done with her working her making it very uncomfortable and not a good workplace

Rural King customer service and policies

I put 1300.00 down on a rifle (layaway). My background check was delayed for 7 days. When it came back k it was still on delay. The law states if it does come back in 3 day period then the store may or my not sell the item to me. I DON'T have a problem with that but...I was told that their policy was to wait 30 days and re run the the fib check. I asked for my money back and was told all returns over 500.00 had to go through the Illinois office . I NEVER purchased the 1300.00 rifle and am waiting the 2 weeks for my money...I'm an NRA life member and very active in local NRA activities. I will be writing the magazine and telling all the members about Rural Kings customer service. I contacted the district manager and he wouldn't even call me back... thanks Rural king

Rural King whole store

Me and my family were shopping at the one in kokomo, in and we got some cat liter that was on shelve for it said $9.99 and so we said ok well we went to pay for it it rang up 11.99 we said no it was 9.99 then they rang for a price check being rude about it and arguing with us being loud about it and the guy said its not 9.99 its 13.99 well we got off paying 11.99 but i went back there to check prices myself and there was no tag at all anymore and he had his price changer device in his hang but in all and all there was no tag that said 9.99, 11.99 or 13.99 so they know they messed up they just wanted to make us look stupid all and all never shopping there again if all they do is be rude with there customers and be loud making us look stupid i can care less about the price just the customer service there will never bring me back there

Rural King checkouts and lack of management

only been 2 checkout lines at the rural king in st clairsville, and one of them is the service desk. the girl at the service desk is answering all calls and taking care of customers, I asked her where her help was and where were the managers, she didn't know, I looked around the store and asked but could no find any, that is great service, awesome, make customers wait for 15 to 20 minutes for checkout, awesome, great customer relations, I think i will drive the extra distance and got to tractor supply

Rural King broadheads

My son found a set of broadsheets he wanted..which was on the shelf with a lock on them.. $40.00/We told the cashier that was working in that department and he said that someone borrowed the key and hadn't brought it back yet. He said he would page them and get the key..we waited for half an hour and no one showed up..We went on up front to pay for what we did get (should of put the stuff back) the cashier wanted to know if we found everything all right and when I proceeded to tell her what happened she was like oh well..Really my time is valuable as well and I'm sure my money will spend elsewheres..Thank you

Rural King harassment from a store employee

Twice I have had to return back to the Rural King store located in Morganton NC, as the cashier forgot to remove the security tag. I live 80+ miles away or a dive of over an hour and half away. I entered the store (8/15/17) and headed straight to the customer service desk, located in the front of the store and explained my issue with receipt of purchase in hand. The nice rep removed the security tag and was in the process of handing me my purchase (shirt) back when I interjected to say- there's another shirt I would like to purchase if it's still here and I need the use the restroom after a long drive. I then asked whether I needed to leave my shirt with her at the front desk or take it with me. She replied "you can take it with you"; I smiled and walked away. A few days prior to todays visit, I called to inform them that I had purchased the shirt and the cashier had missed to remove the security alarm tag. I was told to bring the merchandise back, along with my receipt. Upon walking to the back of the store in seach of the other shirt I had seen several days before, which was of course gone. I proceed to the restroom, but was stopped or rather yelled at by a man cleaning to STOP! I stopped and explained to him that the shirt had already been purchased by me, showing him the receipt, but he continued to yell at me. Here is my complaint - I am/was wearing, not only boots purchased at Rural King, but a shirt and a belt, all of which belong to ME. Should I have just taken my clothes off and left them too outside the door, in addition to, the shirt in my bag? It's the same difference, as ALL are my property and no longer Rural King's - my purchases and my property. The employee was rude and harassing. I went straight to the customer service desk and asked to speak to the manager, but to no avail. I am requesting an official apology from Morganton's store manager, plus the employee (Tim) as well. I, without any doubt whatsoever, know NOT to take Rural King's merchandise into the restroom, but what I lack to understand is why the harassment over me taking my OWN property into the restroom. If (Tim) has an issue or didn't quite understand the situation then WHY didn't he call for a manager or even security to avoid conflict? Should patrons not enter into Rural King wearing previous purchased clothing? In any regard, I was violated through means of verbal abuse and the lack of acknowledgment from the store manager to properly handle the situation. By the way, a person held my shirt withing the small hallway outside the restroom door, but no apologies were offered from anyone at Rural King. I hope someone of authority will read this, take it to heart and make changes in training employees to remove the security alarm tags AND call for a manager if a situation arises that is quite not understood so a proper resolution can be evolved ILO Conflict.

Rural King gun purchase

On July 12 2017 I purchased a 357 revolver from store #87. My background check was delayed. I checked periodically on the status and was informed that after 30 days it will be ran again and I should recieve the gun. Today marks 30 days. I went back to run another background check, by the advice of an employee. I was delayed again. I have a Ccw permit for the state of Ohio and have nothing in my background that would prohibit me. I have purchased guns on two different occasions since 2013 and the longest I've had to wait was 7 days. I understand policy and that it is not a personal issue but I watched three individuals purchase weapons and walk out same day. I looked up federal law and there's nothing I'm doing that would stop me from receiving the gun.
I feel I am being discriminated against because of my ethnicity and would like to make a formal complaint. The FBI only needs 25 days to run a complete investigation and I am currently on day 30. I feel that this issue needs to be addressed and I don't think blaming the FBI is a reasonable explanation.

Rural King tool chest

Ok try to keep it short. A month or so back. My wife and kids are at your St. Clairsville Oh store. We shop their at lot. One we love the prices, and products. Well that day two - three workers was not helpful a d rurd. And she didn't get everything needed. So the management of the store called we talked. Very nice and really helped us out. And assistant manager. Helped when we got to the store. Now we got a tool chest that's what they helped us on. And on 8-5-17 picked up the tool chest they loaded. Now next day unloading there's a big dent in the box and the lock doesn't work on the bottom. I don't want something for free. But if I pay good hard work money for it . It should work and not be dented up.

Rural King lack of management customer service

While shopping at the Muncie Rural King #25 on Sunday (7-16) I noticed when we walked in that the front was flooded with employees standing around chatting and laughing with each other while there were approximately 5-6 people in each of the two (2) lanes that were open, but I assumed this would resolve organically. While shopping my husband and myself had several questions about where certain items were and/or pricing of items, and we were unable to find an employee to assist us. As such, we left the store without making several major purchases. We did however purchase a few small items and when we went to the registers there was only one lane open and 5-6 employees (including managers) standing around joking with each other. When I approached a male manager he told me that he does not run a register and I would just have to wait in line. I asked if he could find someone to open a register and he rolled his eyes at me and walked away. Again, there were several employees standing around joking with each other and ignoring the customers, and the managers did nothing to remedy this situation.
If this is the way the Muncie store is managed, then I promise you I will never shop at that store again. I have been a loyal customer of Rural King and have gone out of my way to shop at this store, but I will shop at TSC from this point due to the lack of appropriate management within the Muncie Rural King store.
I feel like it is important for someone about the local store level to know how that store is operated.

Rural King customer service

I went to rural king in monticello indiana to get 3 big bags a chicken feed...i got a shopping cart because there was no flat carts. I got to feed and i was looking around for help and didnt see anyone. So i walked the whole store and still noone in site except 2 cashiers which were busy. I was so mad i lifted 3 bags in cart and pushed to register. I got waited on and she wasnt even very nice and answered the phone and ignored me and another girl finished transaction. Didnt even ask me if i need help! So i pushed the cart out and still no Help! I lifted them again into my car! Very poor service at this store! If i could i wouldn't shop here!

My girlfriend was just hurt in your effingham Illinois location we were in checkout and there was an associate in front of us with a chainsaw and dropped it and hit her on the face she's in the er vomiting and experiencing extreme neck pain!
