Purchased rug never shows up
Who knows if an order from this company will ever show up or not.
I ordered two rugs from his company. One came within a week and was great. The other rug never showed up for a month with no correspondence. When I called they said maybe the label fell off in the warehouse. Two days later they emailed me a cancellation and gave me my money back. If I hadn't called, I would've been waiting indefinitely.
They already sold my rug due to their own error.
So… If you want to cheap rug, try out this website. You make it something great or you might get nothing. My advice, don't waste your time.
Pattern of not fulfilling confirmed shipped orders
Twice in the past few months I placed an order for 2 clearance sale rugs, twice the orders were confirmed, including emails confirming that the orders were shipped. The orders were not shipped. No one contacted me other than to review my satisfaction with the rugs. I called last week and was told I would receive a follow up phone call that same day. I did not hear back. Today, Heather V. tried to justify this by saying that status of items on the website are not maintained (as if that is ok) and that I should somehow have known this and called when ordering online to verify that items being advertised as available on the website are actually available. Not getting confirmed and paid for and so called shipped orders is MY fault per Heather. Really? Also, Heather said she doesn't care if I give them a bad review. Well Heather, I believe you and your company don't care that they poor business practices.
Area rugs
My wife and i ordered 2 area rugs of the same style in different sizes. One rug was delivered fine and the larger rug sat in a waiting for pick up status from federal express. A dozen phone calls and many e-mails unanswered i asked for a supervisor and received the voice mail of the representative who was helping us, heather. They always start out helpful but when you ask them to call their delivery department instead of e-mailing, they become belligerent and put the customer on hold status for 15 minutes. I found out by calling them again that the larger rug was no longer being shipped indefinitely, what does that mean, the rug was no longer going to be shipped and it required me to call and find out that the rug i do have is now going back. To my surprise they wrote for a return at my expense. Surprise...No individual should do business with rugs usa and they are incompetent and thieves. I was required to pay in full from date of order and they have the money for a rug never going to be delivered. That is poor business practices, be careful.

I am complaining about the service
I am about to call my credit card company to report a fraudulent claim! my order is ws1168481! if you do not refund my full purchase amount now I will be forced to report the claim! you sell me 2 products that go together! you send the one product that is of no use to me! you did not ask if that was okay! I want my credit card to be credited for the full amount of my purchase!
Extremely slow delivery
I have ordered a rug from www.rugsusa.com and they said I'll get it within two weeks, but it actually took them over two months to deliver my order. All that time I was trying to get my order cancelled but they refused and said that was impossible. I was sick of waiting and wanted to order from another place but first of all I had to get my money back. Finally my rug arrived after two months of waiting. I will not buy from this website again, they are highly unprofessional and shipping takes too long!
Sold me an item they didn't have, still waiting on my refund!
Ordered my rug on 4/22, $200 and over a week later it was still listed as processing. I inquired, received a response that they were checking with the vendor then 10 minutes later I received a cancellation email then shortly following that a refund request email. I promptly called and spoke to Nicole M. and she just said yes we cancelled it, sorry for your luck and now I have to wait up to 7 business days for their credit department to send the refund to my bank, today is day 5 and still nothing has been done, they are just waiting until the last minute to do the right thing and something they should have done immediately. How is this legal, they obviously sold something they did not have and until I notified them they did nothing to reach out to me. Horrible horrible experience!
rug return
I need to return a rug. I was on hold twice for well over an hour and both times disconnected. I then dialed option one for sales. Finally spoke with someone. They said you have to call in to request a return. They said they would send me an email. That took 24 hours. I wanted to purchase a return label from them. You have to order that online and then wait for them to send it to you. They only give you a 7 day window to return once the return is authorized. You can't talk to anyone unless you have a min of 30 min to stay on hold, and yes they will disconnect you! The WORST customer service I have ever encountered.
Rugs were the wrong size
Problem description: We ordered 2 rugs from this merchant. They were the wrong size. We decided to return them which was within compliance with their policy. We received a return authorization number for each rug (after asking 3 times). The return authorization email gave the following instructions: ----------------- Thank you for shopping with House Accents / Rugs USA, we are sorry that you are unhappy with your purchase. We attached the proper RA numbers to each rug, drove to the above address and left them with 2 friendly employees who assured us that we were doing the right thing. We even took a photo of the rugs, dock, and employee (JUST IN CASE). We received an email back stating that 1. there were no employees at the warehouse (there was no other business at that address) 2. There were no rugs with return authorization numbers (they were clearly marked) 3. That we were not supposed to drop them off ourselves so even if they do find them Rugs USA will only give us 75% of our purchase price. We will be taking further action to recoup 100% of our funds. BUYER BEWARE.
Faulty Advertising
They provide a price for the rugs online and when you go and add it to you cart, they increase the price. I tried it on multiple computers and even took a screen shot of the price change and sent it to them. They said they "changed" the price as I was checking out and refused to honor the original listed price.
Company calls itself Rugs USA, and yet they are not in the USA. There is no mention of the fact that when you order from them, you will find a foreign transaction charge on your credit card. That fee is fairly hefty. They should not be allowed to hide this from customers.
Terrible quality and customer service
I am completely disappointed with the quality, customer service, and all around purchase. I was initially so excited about my purchase and received many compliments. 30 days after my purchase I tried to clean a dirt spot with a simple rug cleaner that I have been using for years and the dye in the carpet ran together. I submitted a complaint through their website (since customer service is only available 9-5 and the wait time was over 30 min) asking to do an even exchange and I was emailed several days later to tell me that I was 15 days past my return date policy and there was nothing they could do. When we eventually got them on the phone and they were unbelievably rude and unapologetic. They told us it was our fault for not professionally cleaning our rug! So I need to get my rug- something we walk on every day- professionally cleaned when it gets a small dirt stain? This just tells me that this company does not stand behind the quality of their product. Afterwards we wrote a bad review for our purchase and 5 minutes later they erased it off their website. Unbelievably disappointed. Waste of $400.

Poor customer service - slow refund
I placed an order on May 11, 2014 for a rug for my soon-to-be-born granddaughter. By May 20, I was contacting Rugs USA for the statu s of my order as I had not received a confirming email from them. Finally on May 21 I received this email
"There was a system error where this item was marked as more than one available and allowed this order to be approved and processed. Since we are unable to fulfill, this item has automatically been cancelled. A full
credit for this item has been submitted to your account. Please allow 3 - 7 business days for the refund to fully post on your account. Once the transaction has been completed on our end you will be notified via email to
confirm your refund was issued. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and want to thank you for your continued patience in this matter."
Today is July 6. I have send numerous emails in the ensuing 2 months requesting my refund and to date I have not received my refund. This is unconscionable and the poorest customer service I have ever encountered. Do not buy from Rugs USA. They lie, cheat and steal.

Difficult to get refund
Please do not buy anything from the company www.rugsusa.com and return it as it will be extremely frustrating to get your money back for a refund. Though they mention the words Easy Returns on their website, it is far from true. I had placed order#WS565473 on1/3/2014 through www.rugsusa.com for Area Rug Color: Black Size 5’2”x7’4” SKU:[protected]-52074 and paid via my PayPal account a Total Price: $41.80 (Free Shipping). The item was sent and reached on 1/8/2014, but since the item didnot meet quality expectation, I requested a return authorization. For the Return ID # 98941, I was granted a return authorization via email by [protected]@rugsusa.com on 1/27/2014 by a person named Mandi. The return authorization number for the item: RA #RugsUSA-WS565473-[protected] for the SKU# [protected]-52074 was given. I was given 7 days to return the item to the return address which was given as HomeDynamix, 1 Carol Place, Moonachie, NJ 07074. The item was returned via UPS ground with a tracking number 1Z0669330316080368. This tracking number was conveyed to [protected]@rugsusa.com on02/06/2014 and it was seen that the Area Rug Item was delivered on 02/03/2014at 11:00 AM to Moonachie, NJ and signed by Torres at the dock. On02/11/2014, I sent a reminder via email that the refund of $41.80 is due and that Mandi or Anybody Else who can take action should process it. On02/14/2014, I again sent an email saying that I am waiting for them to credit$41.80 to my PayPal account since it was over ten days that the Area Rug had reached them on February 3, 2014. I requested for prompt action. On 02/20/2014, I sent an email stating that I do not understand why my email messages are being ignored and that it is over 15 days since the Area Rug had reached them on February 3, 2014. On 02/28/2014, I tried to call the two numbers [CustomerCare [protected] or [protected] (M-F 10:00 am – 5:30 pm)] at around noon and no one picked up either of the two numbers. I went back online to the account status and filled in the tracking number of the return so that they would get an automatic alert. On 03/01/2014, I received an email from a person named Tina Arroyo that my refund has been submitted. The email stated that I should allow3-7 business days for the refund to fully post on my account. It also stated that once the transaction has been completed on their end, I will be notifiedvia email to confirm my refund was issued. After waiting patiently for 7business days, I wrote back to them asking them to revisit the refundprocessing to take action so that there is no unnecessary delay in getting therefund. There was no response to it. More than 15 business days elapsed andthere was no sign of the refund! So I submitted a complaint on 03/21/2014 tothe Better Business Bureau through their website www.bbb.organd was assigned the compliant ID: 9979104 by www.trenton.bbb.org. I got an email from BBB that my complaint hadbeen sent to the business for their response. When I was in the process of preparing the complaint and when I searched for the business’s address what Igot had some discrepancies. The addresswas correct. However the telephonenumber [protected] that came up was different from the one I had on myrecord for customer care which was [protected] or [protected] (M-F 10:00 am –5:30 pm). Of course, I had tried to callboth these numbers on 2/28/2014 at around noon and no one picked up either ofthe two numbers. So maybe the telephone number recorded with BBB 201-807-0111is correct – that is what I thought. Also the website www.homedynamix.comwas not the one where I did my transactions. It is www.rugsusa.com throughwhich I had placed my order. Also allcorrespondence that I got from them came from [protected]@rugsusa.com.Probably, the company operated online through two different websites. But I thought I should mention this to BBBand hence sent an email to them. In the meantime, BBB got a response from a person named Adam on behalf of HomeDynamix. He stated that he does not understand why Home Dynamix is being brought in on this because they were a wholesale manufacturer and distributor, and do not sell tothe public. He said that since the transactions were all done through RugsUSA.com, he wanted BBB to remove their name from this claim or have this claim removed from their record. When BBB made me aware of this response from the business through an email, they said that it has come to their attention that a different company should handle my dispute. So BBB suggested that I submit a separate complaint so that they may forward it to the appropriate company. I replied through an email that the reason why Home Dynamix appears in the complaint is for two reasons – 1) When the Area Rug was received, the address of the sender did not say RugsUSA. The sender’s address printed in the top left corner read as: HomeDynamix, 1 Carol Place, Moonachie, NJ 07074 and 2) When I requested to return the item, the RMA (Return Mailing Address) was given to me again as HomeDynamix, 1 Carol Place, Moonachie, NJ 07074. In any case, on 04/04/2014 I submitted a separate complaint again to the Better Business Bureau through their website www.bbb.org against RugsUSA.com, 106 E. Jericho Turnpike, Mineola, NY 11501, Tel: [protected] and this time was assigned the compliant ID: 9998423 by www.newyork.bbb.org. I got an email from BBB on 04/07/2014 that my complaint had been sent to the business for their response. On 04/10/2014, BBB got a response from the business that was forwarded to me and it stated as follows: “I received the order and saw the pay pal transaction was not completed. I went ahead and resubmit the refund. The transaction confirmation number is86L29693B52585824. Pay pal should update within 24/48 hrs and reflect the funds. We apologize for the delay.” Thus, on 04/11/2014 which is over two months since RugsUSA received the returned area rug, I finally got the refund of $41.80 after so much of hassle and frustration. I would probably never have got my refund if I had not pursued this matter and not submitted a complaint to BBB.

They refused to honor a $150.00 gift certificate that had no expiration date printed on it by just saying it had expired. Even though, as I mentioned there was NO expiration date mentioned on it. Very disappointing!
Poor return process
Ordered a rug online from RugsUSA. It arrived in the wrong color, the website was incorrect. When called customer service they acknowledged error and contacted manufacturer for return prepaid shipping. Two weeks later and MANY phone calls still waiting for return information. Rug was an unsightly Christmas decoration in the hallway, 9x13. I don't want to do business with them again. Last call they have changed their story (and apparently their account notes) saying that return shipment info was available since last week even though they told me, repeatedly, it wasn't and now, magically, I don't need a label! FedEx will just come pick it up, we'll see.

Takes Your Money and NEVER Delivers
Do not purchase from Rugs USA, they are fraudulent and scammers. When you purchase an item they instantly take your money, but they never send your item. They have worthless customer service that never answers their phones, emails or chats. When you are lucky enough to get ahold of them they tell you lies about UPS losing your items and they give you fake UPS tracking numbers that never work. It has been 1 month and I have yet to receive my rug. I have filed with the Better Business Bureau and after complaining so many times on Rugs Usa facebook page they blocked me. Everyone has a right to know how worthless this company is! If you do a google search for Rugs USA complaints, you will see that they do this often to people and the Better Business Bureau rates them at a C. Do not buy their lies!
Wrong item, horrible customer service
Rugs USA ships the wrong items and offers HORRIBLE customer service. Consider yourself lucky if you actually get the item you ordered. I ordered a rug on 12/23/10, after calling the second time approx. 3 weeks later, then they indicate the rug is on back order. Well on 1/28/11 a rug arrives, but it is the entirely wrong item not just a color issue. I spent hours putting in calls to customer service, and was actually hung up on many occasions. I had to hound them for a week just to get an authorization for a return shipping label and had to figure out how to fit an 11 ft rug into my car to take it back to UPS myself. I was told that the correct rug would be shippped out once the other one was in transit. Well, a week (2/11/11) after I sent back the wrong rug, I called again to see if they had shipped out the item that I actually ordered. No customer service indicated they had not fixed the item numbers that were wrong in their system (this is two weeks after they knew the numbers were wrong) and if I wanted them to place another order for the item, I would just get the wrong rug again until they actually fixed their website. They told me to call back Monday to see if the numbers were fixed so I could try again to put in my order. Well, I had enough so I requested a refund and ordered the rug from somebody else! If they wanted my business they would have gone above and beyond to fix their screw up! Now, hopefully I will actually get the refund.
this is the best website. i had the same problem happen to me and they issued a pick-up. Call them and speak to the supervisor and she will issue if for you.
Don't buy from them
They are horrible! The beige leather shag rug didn't look like photo- it wasn't plush- it was a bunch of scrap leather of extreme different lengths and it shed 15-20 pieces a day! Not only did they not answer my repeated phone and email messages, when I did send them pictures they denied my request to send it back after months of me trying to contact someone!
I filed a complaint with BBB and they basically lied and said that they settled with me, which they absolutely did not! So I paid over $100 for a piece of trash!
No good crooks! Terrible service! Don't buy from them!
item was never delivered
We needed a new rug for our living room and we decided to go to RUGS USA since they had what looked like a great promotion - if you bought a rug you'd get a runner and another small area rug for free.
The website looked professional and the name had "USA" in it so it promised world class quality.
Instead, we got swindled. We got 1 rug of the 3 they promised. They never delivered the 2 additional rugs included in the promotion. They did email us to say 'they were out of stock' on one of the promotional rugs and asked if we still wanted the other one. We said yes. We never received the other 2 rugs. We called them directly 4 times over 2 months and gave them a chance to rectify the situation. We asked to speak to the managers. We asked for a callback. We were repeatedly told 'they are not available'.
After 4 months we gave them a final call and left voicemail requesting a callback and we never got one.
I won't tell you not to buy from RUGS USA.
I'm just writing this to let others know that RUGS USA gave us a bait and switch.
And that when we complained to them directly, they refused to speak to us.
And that it's my opinion that any company that treats its customers this way doesn't deserve to have "USA" in their name.
They should be forced to remove "USA" from their name.
If you ask me what I think their new domain name should be, I will tell you it's my opinion that they should register www.crappyservicerugs.com or www.wewilltakeyourmoneyandrunrugs.com.
I will continue to have this opinion about the company and tell everyone I know about my experience until (if ever) it is rectified.

Original complaint:
I ordered 2 rugs from Rugs USA between 9/14/09. I was sent 2 rugs, only one rug was what I ordered it wasn't even the correct item number. I called Rugs USA and informed them of their mistake, originally I had ordered 108TC57-609, they sent me 108TC67-609. I contacted them on 9/18-9/19. They told me they would send UPS labels, pick the rug up and send me the right rug. I contacted them again the following week because they still had not sent had the rug picked up. UPS picked up the rug on or before the 10th of October. I waited approximately 6 weeks, I had to call them twice for status, to receive what was supposed to be the correct rug. The delivered the replacement rug on the 11/19 or 11/20. I looked at the label and it was the same rug I had returned. I called Rugs USA on the same date I received the rug and asked for a refund on the rug. They said they would refund my money and have UPS pick up the rug. I waited approximately 1 week and UPS still hadn't picked up the rug nor did I get a refund - Rugs USA told me on the phone that the refund would take 5-10 days to post. I called back to check 11/23-11/24 because the rug had not been picked up and there was no refund to my Paypal account. The man I spoke with said I had to wait 10 days to see the refund. On 11/27 or 11/30 I called again because I had still not seen the refund and the rug still hadn’t been picked up. They assured me they would take care of it. I had to leave the country on the 12/4 and just returned. I just checked my Paypal account and STILL they have not refunded my money. The rug STILL has not been picked up. Rugs USA purposefully sent me a product I did not want and are trying to force me to purchase an item I did not order by not refunded my money and not picking up the rug. The original order number for this transaction was WS103144.

Slow delivery and charged for their error
RUGSUSA: I waited over 4 weeks for delivery of one rug and two carpet pads. Couldn't contact them by phone; no answer. Their "Live Chat" did not exist. E-mailed them 4 times, no answer. After 5 attempts, finally a customer rep answered the phone. When the pads were finally delivered, one of them was apparently the wrong size. I did not realize this. Also, this so-called pad was no more than a thin sheet of non-skid material, less impressive than shelf lining available at Walmart. I cut it to fit and placed it under my rug in the kitchen which I was finally able to use after a 4 week wait. Three weeks later, I receive an e-mail from RUGSUSA to tell me that the "pad" was the wrong size and since I had opened the package, the company was going to bill me an additional $20. Thanks for the service; I guess their e-mail works fine when they want some more money. I will never use this company again.
Wrong rug, won't ship return label
I really wish I would of looked up the complaints on RUGS USA before purchasing! You are all correct! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER service. I am sick of hearing "we are sorry for your inconvenience!" They shipped me the wrong wrong a week ago. I've been on the phone twice, 25 min. the first time on hold, 14 the next and 4 online chats, at least 5 emails back and forth. I was told the first day that I called that they would simply send a UPS shipping label to me via email, I would send it and then wait another week and my rug would be there!
Okay, no big deal right, things happen, mix ups etc. Well, a day passes, still no email of the shipping label. Then I find out it takes them 2-4 business days to send out a label via email! How crazy is that! We all know it doesn't take THAT long!
So, here I am a week has passed now and I still do not have an email with a shipping label. Though when I talked via chat with them today they commented that I SHOULD get the label today! SHOULD! So it's been 4 hours since then, still not shipping label!
Someone said it right, I was charged very quickly, but just am not getting much action from them! Horrible company and absurd customer service!
Though the price was right, the service sucks!
