Ruby Tuesday Unemployment

I was an employee of ruby tuesday for a year and a half. Every day i worked, i had to walk four miles to and from the building, rain sleet or snow. I have a two year old daughter and a ten month old son. Management was nice enough to tell me that they were locking the doors for good THE DAY they did it. So thanks for putting my family in jeoprody ruby tuesday. I hope you run your bussiness into the ground, you heartless, low life, good for nothing, money hungry pigs. Karma has its way of catching up with people. You will get yours one day. You shouldn't have the right to pull the rug out from under that many people the way you did. So for whoever may read this, think twice before you apply to ruby tuesday.

I agree I work for Ruby tuesdays as well, and Im a college student. Recently I asked a co-worker to look at a project I was doing, that was in their field of study. I was promptly told even thought we were both off the clock and the restaurant was empty that their was no way we could be sitting at a booth in the back doing our homework. What a way to treat your employee's Yah some family atmosphere ###s!

Ruby Tuesday food, manager rudness

Dec. 27th, ate at Ruby Tuesday. Ordered fried shrimp over penne pasta in a parmasian sauce with marietta sauce. I was served this dish with cajun seasoning. I put a whole shrimp in my mouth and it set me on fire. I held ice in my mouth for long time. My husband called the waiter and told him about it. He said he was sorry, giggled, and offered me another plate. I said no, I couldn't eat it anyway. I asked for tissue because the food was extremely hot and my nose was running as a consequence. The manager came and told me the dish I ordered said spicy and seasoned. I checked the menu and she had lied. I called her back and she insisted that I hadd ordered the hot dish. How did she know when she didn;t take my order. I told her to take it off of my bill. She brought me the food to me in a take out. I refused it. She charged my husband for his food and did nothing to make it up such as giving us a food gift certificate. We were treated rudly by the manager and laughed at by the waiter. She lied to me, then told me I got what I had ordered.

Ruby Tuesday unacceptable service

We've have dined at this restaurant several times and will not returned because of a bad experience we had last night. We were seated at our table of 4 to enjoy a casual dinner for the evening and it took the waitress over 15 minutes to even take our drink order, didn't introduce herself or smile. Then after taken care of or drink order, she service's other tables that arrived after with there food before we received our drinks and then we received our appetizers. We than asked for the MOD Manger on duty, which we were told would be right out, which the MOD never showed. We commented why, and was told she didn't want to come out of the back room. Then we asked what the MOD Manger on duty's name was we were giving Brittney, without a last name, when asked what her last name was, the hostess stated she didn't know. Then I approached the bartender he was a wonderful enough person to give us her last name and he was also a wonderful waiter before. Her name was Brittney Garland and for a MOD Manger on Duty not to appear at a table of customer when there is a restaurant with only 10 to 12 table with 4 server's attended to the tables this problem should not have occurred. This is unacceptable! I've waited table in the past and enjoyed my position very much. This waitress and MOD should not be in this industry at ALL! This is a disgraced to your industry. I am appalled with this situation. I'm a semi retired gentleman and I will no longer step foot in this restaurant every again in my life time, also the place that I semi retired from is IBM which is a big customer service industry company along with other avenues that will here about this location and will not fund your establishment every again.

Thank you for the disgrace of RUBY TUESDAY and the disgrace that we endure at this location, You should be ashamed for running a restaurant, that doesn't even match a drive thru restaurant.

On Wednesday June 27th, 2012, My husband and I went to Ruby Tuesdays in Va.Beach, Va on Newtown Rd. When we went the we waited several minutes to be acknowledged. The welcomer said she would be right back and went and waited on a table. After a few mintues she came back .I said we would like a table for 2 people. She told me there would be a waiting time, Its was at 6:15pm dinner time. I asked her if we could just go sit at the table and look at the menu. She told me no because they only had 2 servers and they were busy helping other customers. they were probably 8 tables with people at them ...no big groups...My husband has a sore foot from surgery and could stand without it hurting I felt like they really didnt want our business . And we sure want to be somewhere we wont wanted.I just wanted you to know how your costumers are being treated.

Ruby Tuesday awful experience

So on Sunday evening me, my girlfriend, and my mother went to go get something to eat at Ruby Tuesday. The restaurant was very nice looking and the booth was very comfortable. the wait staff was nice and made us feel comfortable. I ordered shrimp, a baked potato and some vegetables. My mother got a small steak and baked potato, and finally my girlfriend got a shrimp pasta type dish that had tomatoes on top of the nodles and shrimp. So after about 15 minutes we got our food and began to eat. My meal was very good and my mothers steak was cooked to her liking but, my girlfriends dinner is another story entirely.

She began to eat her pasta, intentionally avoiding her tomatoes because she doesn't like them which is a good thing. After about 5 minutes my girlfriend asked me if little white and black things were moving in her pasta. sure enough the tomatoes were COVERED in tiny maggot, worm like things moving around. We immediately asked a waitress nearby who wasn't our waitress to look at it. We said that she had worms in her meal and the waitress looked like she didn't believe it at first; until she took a close look. She then ran off into the kitchen without saying anything. Well My mother and I were really grossed out and could not eat anymore. About twenty minutes later the manager came back up and apologized and said that the cooks were disassembling the make table to look for the problem. Our meal was free but the most disturbing thing is that the hostess was still seating customers! The store should of been shut down. I will never eat there again and I wish i had called the health department. It was one of the most disgusting, foul, experience I have ever had eating out.

[censor] Dawniette!
I was a bartender at Ruby Tuesday in the Riverchase Galleria. On December 23 2003 I slipped on some ice that was spilled on the floor and fractured my back. I was taken out on a stretcher. The manager assured me they would pay for the all that had to be done at the hospital. The first of the year being so close and the manager wanting his bonus for having an accident free year decided to wait until after the first of the year to file the claim, so when their insurance went to pay they see two separate dates for the accident, and refused to pay for the $45, 000 in back surgery I had to have. On top of that I could not even get my pay for the 6 months I was out of work. Talk about dishonesty.

The last two times a friend and myself visited the Ruby Tuesday in Athens Ohio was a very bad experience. We arrived they seated us and it took the server over twenty minutes both times to come and wait on us. The poorest form of service I have ever had. Needless to say the second time we got up after waiting twenty minutes and left. The first time the waiter stayed in the kitchen worrying more about what was going on in there instead of taking care of his customers. Need less to say we will not be patronizing this place for a long time, maybe not until they replace the help they have with good workers. I could see it happening maybe once but not two times in a row within a two week period we have always eaten at this restaraunt at least once per week but not any more. APril Burke

I recently ate at the Brewer, ME Ruby Tuesday, on Sept. 24, 2009. I was eating my salad and discovered a hard, sharp object in my mouth, which turned out to be a piece of glass.
Upon alerting the server, who alerted her supervisor, I was given a $3.00 discount on my salad. My whole bill was around $9.99 and $3.00 was deducted for the salad. I didn't cut my mouth, but I am still wondering if I swallowed smaller pieces and didn't know it.

I was visiting a Ruby Tuesday in Orangeburg, SC on June 14, 2009 and had a very unhappy experience myself. I ordered lobster and one was about the side of a shrimp and soft not a good sign for lobster and the other two were fried I did not order fried lobster. My husband had clam chowder with a film on the top. the service was terrible. my daughter ordered soup and it was disgussing she did not eat much. When we werre seated we had no fork, or knives on the table and no one seemed to care about how the table looked. It was a sunday and I was no happy. I asked to speak to the manager she gave us a discount on the food ok but I would have like them to do more. I'm a loyal customer of Ruby Tuesday and I will not recommend this one to any of my family in Orangeburg, SC. I have gone to the Ruby Tuesday in Charlotte, Salibury & Concord and never had this problem.
I will consider going to any Ruby Tuesday in the future.

On Nov. 1, 2008, my brother in law and I visited the Ruby Tuesdays #3767 in Knoxville Tenn. We ordered Rib-eye steaks one rare and one medium well. After 10 minutes we were told that they only had one Rib-eye steak. I asked that it be prepared for my brother in law and it was suggested that I receive a serloin. On the menu the Rib-eye was $14.99 and the serloin was $12.99. When the meal was delivered the Rib-eye was well done (not to his request) and the serloin was rare( not to my request). Then they prepared two serloins cooked correctly but they were not good. When the bill was given to us the price for the serloins were $17.99 each and the manager said that they had three classes of serloins. He reduced the bill by $4.00 but the damage was done. We came for a Rib-eye, was given something less, and charged more. Needless to say not a good experience at all. We have been going to this restaurant several times in the last 6 months but with this service and the apparent costs for mistakes I am not eager to return.
I would appreciate a reply.
Thank yoiu,
Russ Sluder

Ruby Tuesday bad service

There is a mentally ill general manager at ruby teusdays that hats kids, and enjoys yelling and screaming at good employees, and causing the best worker to leave, she has not made apologies, to the employee, and this is not the only employee that has left because of her, apparently ruby teusdays condones this kind of behavior and rewards the dispicable employees, and takes advantage of the good ones, do not go there.

I was fired from Ruby Tuesday after five years because someone complained that they were cold. I told a manager I had a table complaining and he didn't go talk to them. They called corporate and now I am done. I went to corporate and nobody cares. Ruby tuesday does not care about their employees.

Ruby Tuesday moral damages

On Sunday December 23, 2007 my family and I had lunch at Ruby Tuesday Restaurant. When the waitress brought the food out, she carelessly spilled gravy on the $3, 000 coat that I was wearing, and thus completely damaged it. The waitress did not apologize or show any concern. We promptly called the manager (Mike) who simply provided a business card and indicated that he would be calling us with details about compensation by December 28 at the latest. Unfortunately, Mike never returned the call. We called Mike again on January 1 and he indicated that he will try to reach the support center once again and report back to us. It is now January 3 and Mike has not called back. I just got off the phone with him (I called) and he informed us that he is unable to reach the center in Tennessee.

Unfortunately, it appears that this restaurant has no concern for its customers and is not willing to amicably resolve the problem. We will be pursuing legal means and will demand maximum compensation that will cover the coat as well as all moral damages, inconveniences and legal fees.

Lighten up dude. Why would a person of your class be caught dead in Ruby T's? If you can afford a set of 5 grand threads, assuming the shirt, tie, pants, socks, ect. are worth another 2 grand then man-up and spend a Jeffer$on and chill. Please don't sue me! JMHO. Les

Ruby Tuesday bad service and attitude

Let me start by saying my husband has previously eaten at Ruby Tuesday twice and had no problems. But about 5 weeks ago we were on our way to Orlando, Fla from Alabama and we stopped in Gainesville at a mall to walk around. The Ruby Tuesday at the mall was not busy, it was around 8pm, the hostess sat us down then we didn't see our waiter for over 5 min. Now I have waitressed for 16 years so I do tend to be picky but I also can be more understanding when someone is busy. But anyway he finally came over and was all attitude, sighing when my husband ask what kind of beers they had on tap, telling him he could not have a certain beer in a large glass. Then we ordered burgers and 38 min later after no refills on our drinks no sign of our server or anyone elses, we received our overcooked and cold burgers and fries then he sighed again when my husband asked for a refill. I wanted to complain then but my husband is the quiet non-complaining type so we paid the bill, left no tip and I said I was never going to Ruby's again well.. 2 weeks ago we went to Oak Mntn. St Park in northern Alabama and stopped in just outside of the park at a Ruby's, my husband thought I should give them another chance. Now our waiter was very nice but the food was bad and the menu had about 8 beers listed that I guess cannot be served in Alabama. So why do they have them on the menu? I was so sick of saying a name and the waiter saying "We can't carry that" that after the third try I just asked him what do you carry?! Ok, then yesterday(Father's day) we were coming home from Biloxi and my husband wanted to eat at aRuby's in Saraland, AL where he has had good food before. I did not want to but it was dad's day so in we go. We stood at the door behind 7 other people and I could see into the bar where there were 2 tables with people and about 5 waiters standing around towards the back with about 3 waitress. There was no hostess and after 8 min.(I timed it)a waitress came over and asked us all including the 6 people now behind us if we had been waited on? She went and got the hostess from the back and we were finally seated. There were 6 other tables in the dining room so they were not busy I could still see a bunch of the help screwing around in the back. Over 5 minutes later the hostess came over and said she was not our server but she would get our drinks, this was said with no smile. My husband ordered a beer of course no thanks to the hostess who didn't know what they served and rolled her eyes when asked, and he ordered a martini because him and I were going to share it, I had never had one and I don't normally drink. I also ordered a ice tea. Minutes later the bartender came to our table and informed us that we could not order TWO ALCOHOLIC drinks at one table, WHAT? My husband said fine but I was extremely upset and wanted to leave right then. We waited(I actually timed it on my watch)11 minutes and still had not seen a server or our drinks so finally we walked out. BAD SERVICE, BAD ATTITUDES, HORRIBLE FATHER'S DAY EXPIERENCE! That was the very last straw and I will NEVER step foot in any Ruby Tuesdays' again.

On another note we went to O'charleys and it was wonderful all the way around.

I was at your Thomasville NC restaurant and was served by Lawanna. I must say she was very attentive, knew the dishes well, and made me laugh.

This is what a person in this field should be like with every customer.

Thank you Lawanna 😊

On 01/26/19 my family went to our local Ruby Tuesday. We had a party of 10 with 3 separate tickets . We all paid the tickets given us, I thought mine seemed a bit high for 3 adult meals and 3 non alcohol drinks. looked at my bill at home and was charged for 2 ($5.00) alcohol drinks that I did order. it took a long time for our food no pork chop

I am a bartender and just so you do know, in many states you can not serve one person 2 alcoholic drinks at one time. Your server probably thought your husband was ordering both for himself. Even sharing the martini while drinking a beer could result in a hefty fine for the server, bartender, and company itself if the Liquor Control Board was around. So actually, the bartender acted correctly in refusing to serve both beverages. Y0u would think that, you, being in the service industry yourself in the past would not be so quick to judge others. Everyone has bad days, were they are not themselves and have a hard time being as peppy and friendly as they should be. Cut them some slack. You dont know what kind of day that person just had. Leaving no tip is plain rude, I dont care how poor the service. I have been in the service industry for 5 years, 11 less than yourself and I would never do that.
