Ruby Tuesday cleanliness and stale odor of the restaurant

The women's bathroom was disgusting and smelled like urine and dead animal. I waned to shower after being in there for two minutes! The restaurant did not smell much better and was filthy everywhere you looked. The employees all looked like they just rolled out of bed. Location 1212 Saxon Blvd Orange City Fl 32763

Ruby Tuesday horrible food, below par service

Friday evening my girlfriend and I went to the local Ruby Tuesdays before going to the movies as we often do. We each ordered the steak and lobster meal. Hers was the Asiago peppercorn (medium), grilled brussel sprouts, and something else. I ordered the sirloin(medium), grilled sprouts, and a loaded baked potato. After a ridiculously long wait when we did finally get our food, it was garbage. Both of our steaks were tiny, and cremated to the consistency of boot leather. The lobster tails were quite minuscule, and the "loaded " potato was luke warm, and not loaded. the few shreds of cheese of barely melted cheese were just enough to add insult to injury. I asked our waitress to please bring me butter, and sour cream for the potato, and melted butter for our tails. This never did come our way. What did come was the check. Because of the hurry that we were in, and just trying to leave with a smile on our faces, I just paid it. We visit that restaurant often, and have both noticed that the food is NOT where it used to be. I am very disappointed. I really hope that they once again care about the quality of the food, and the customer like they used to.

Ruby Tuesday condition of female restroom

On Oct 24 at Destiny USA, Syracuse, NY I had lunch at the restaurant, after which I used the restroom. Afterwards I used the facilities. The smell of STALE urine was stifling.

I spoke with the manager, a female, who reasonably 'politely' said they were cleaned every morning. (It was lunch hour - we arrived at 11:10). I told her that I thought a real deep cleaning was essential. Her attitude was such that I felt, "Just another complaining patron".

As I was leaving she said to a waitress, "What does she expect in a 30 year old bathroom!"

I have been in 100 year old bathrooms that do not smell of stale urine! I consider this manager to be not worthy of her salary and should learn how to do her job.

Incidentally, I also had a bad experience with tainted salmon there a couple of years ago. I can sort of understand this, but not the attitude of your employee.

Ruby Tuesday appearance at entrance

This evening my family and I enjoyed a delicious meal at this Ruby Tuesday Restaurant on Excalibur Road in Bowie, Maryland. The service was awesome and the food was great. But upon going in the
restaurant we discussed if we wanted to proceed or not. The outside
trash can was full and the trash was all around the bottom, the entrance doors was filthy. The restaurant was not that busy at that time and there was employees standing around that could have made
sure that the area was presentable...I suggest that you follow up with the manager of the store on this, because maybe others had been and
saw the presentation and left...Maybe that's why the business was not that busy on a Friday evening.

Ruby Tuesday food service and allergies

I have visitedntwo Ruby Tueday restaurants in the Indianapolis area in July and Augusr 2015. In each case I explained that I was allergic to garliac and wanted to make sure what I ordered did not contain any garlic product. The menu in the restaurant indicated one steak dinner tat did not say anything about garlic and our waitress did check for me. When the steak came out there was a big dab of butter in the middle. I dipped my finger in the butter and tqsted it and it had a strong taste of garlic. When I told the waitress I coild aot eat the steak she checked with the kitchen and they said they didn't check the ingrediants that they mixed with the butter, before they served it. They did replace the steak but I had to take it to go.
The second visit I was even more careful about cheking with the waiter about ingrediants but he must have ignored my inquiry, because he brought ribs that had a rub on them that was full of garlic. I took one bite
and realized the mistake that the waiter had made because I had ordeted barbeque sauce ribs, but by then the damage was done and I became extremely ill.
Does Ruby Tuesday not train their staff about food allergies or do they just not care about possible lawsuits for gross negligence? In both cases I told the waitress and waiter I could not have garlic and in both cases I was still served food with garlic on or in it.
You can rest assured I will not be eatting at any more Ruby Tuesday retaurants because of the lack of care they have about their customers well being.

Ruby Tuesday poor service

While on vacation from Ireland, we visited Ruby Tuesdays in Knoxville. The hostess greeted us with a mouthful of food, we obviously walked in on her break, it was 9pm and they closed at 10. She was very pleasant and seated us immediately so we overlooked the mouthful of food. Our waitress on the other hand we couldn't overlook. She was inattentive, shabby and uninterested in serving us. We had shrimp fondue for starter which was very nice, while we were trying to order dinner she was arranging silverware for setup the next day. She took our order and delivered it to our table but did not come back until the end to produce the bill. Only then did she smile and wish us a good nigh (of course because it was tip time) I will not be visiting this place again, nor will I be recommending it to anyone I know. Ruby Tuesdays...you let me down

Ruby Tuesday poor service, long wait, no help from manager

We waited over one hour and 15 minutes for our meal and complained to the manager who basically just apologized, mentioning the fact that he was aware we had waited over an hour. He did not offer a discount or free meal...nothing that was satisfying for a very distraught customer. I will NEVER return to this location again and will not recommend them.

Ruby Tuesday infestation

In Columbia, SC the Ruby Tuesdays on Devine Street to be exact had poor customer service. My party and I called a headed to make sure that we would still have time to enjoy our food seeing that were about to close at 10 and it was already after 9. The young lady on the phone told us that they weren't shutting down the grill and closing until 10, leaving the expression it was okay to come. The bartender was rude while explaining to the manager how inconsiderate we were for coming in so close to closing time right infront of where we were sitting as if she wanted us to hear. I ignored it and proceeded to look the menu over. As I'm looking over the menu a huge waterbug; yes, WATERBUG flies and lands on me briefly. As we began to look around they were everywhere on the walls, the ceilings, and floors. It was disgusting seeing how many there were. This Ruby Tuesdays should be SHUT DOWN not only for their poor customer but filth of the establishment.

I'm a southern girl, we go to our local RT often enough to know what to expect. today Sun. June 14, 2015, ten of us went to RT # 4661 in Milledgeville Ga. I got the crab dinner. I was very disappointed, what I got looked like they took one crab cake divided it into two and mashed it flat, and it was burnt with no flavor. Having lived in Charleston, S. C., A port city, and I know what a crab cake should look like and taste. It should not look like a small, l over done pancake burnt and dried out. that is too much money to pay for nothing. I could not send it back because my husband does not like since an employee spit in the in this same restaurant. It took us awhile to start coming back. listen to this, I had a crab cake last year from this restaurant. the crab cake I got was not this hot mess. is there no standard set for all of the RT. if you do not have satisfied customers, you don't have a business. that's another reason not to eat out. you could make up in volume by lowering your prices you would have more customers, I've seen it in action. Good food, good prices, in a good place. don't forget our hard working employees. that's your new slogan. example- we had a seafood restaurant 30 ml from us, they always had a line. people did not really complain- you know why? you left there so satisfied every time. every time. I've never went there and seen otherwise.. volume, the food did not even come on plates, but platters. what you got was worth the price. you know what their downfall was? changing location instead of expanding the one they were in. they had the space. we could not find them, they were in a bad location, behind another business. And we miss them to this day. don't dismiss complaint's see if their is a pattern. make unannounced visits. hold management accountable. revisit, improve customer service. maybe they in-house class to help encourage. visit and order food, look at serve, check food, go with a party so you cold check multiple dishes. there are a lot of ways to help your customers by improving product, and service.

Ruby Tuesday bad service

Extremely slow service in a restaurant that was less than half occupied at dinner time. Biscuits were "in the oven", waitress ignored our booth in lieu of others who came after us, asked for a box to go but was ultimately delivered by the manager who just happened to be walking by, not sure what happened to our waitress who was originally asked for a box.

This all seems just griping but along with other features of our dinner it all accumulated to anger. We eat in this restaurant on a fairly regular occasion and have never had this bad of treatment. Will say the food was very good.

We spent almost 1 1/2 hours having dinner with minimal other customers. Something was wrong.

Ruby Tuesday bad reputation

The Worst Place of Service and employment. I've tried to apply at Ruby Tuesdays located in Kapolei, HI numerous of times and Was always told to return another day because of some type of excuse and I was told two different stories to when I could come in and get a in person interview, prepared and all four times in a role within a week and a half period I was always told to come back another day. All these four times I've tried to apply, NONE of thy EMPLOYEES had ever GIVEN A SMILE AT THE KAPOLEI, HAWAII LOCATION! Sadly I didn't take names down and NO manager seemed like they were available to speak with. There lost because I was a GREAT person that Ruby Tuesdays could of hired with more then entry level qualifications but since I was never given that chance to even take my application I will now contact UPPER MANAGEMENT in regards of this Ruby Tuesdays and how HORIBBLE their service is.

Ruby Tuesday horrible attitude and bad services

My husband and I went to Ruby Tuesday, but it was the worst experience. The waitress had bad perfume and my asthma started, and when we asked her to move, she refused and started to behave really bad. She pointed at me and laughed, so I went out and waited in the car. It was really horrible, so I wanted to warn other people not to visit this place and share your views about this company.

Ruby Tuesday dissatisfied with the concern in the quality of the food

I Had the worst experience ever at Ruby Tuesday, July 20th., I took a date to rudy tuesday thinking we would have a wonderful Sunday dinner, dead wrong! the first warning sign that I ignore, was that the parking lot was empty. Once we were seated, we ordered.second red flag! They were out of salmon, ok so we ordered tilapia...so as we waiting for our food. We decided to make a salad, NO TURKEY, NO BACON BITS, & NO NUTS...really! Not to mention the foog when it came out... omg! the fish taste like it had been soaking it salt. The bad endin was, , NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT!
NEVER WILL I EAT THERE AGAIN...

Ruby Tuesday employees and food

I walked inside ruby tuesdays at 8 o'clock. Did not take long to seat us. However, our waiter took longer than normal to come to our table. Once he asked us our drinks we waited 30 mins before he came back with them. Next he took our order and we waited 45 minutes exactly for our food. He walked past our table multiple times without stopping to make sure we were fine while we waiting on our food. Finally our food came and it was not what I look forward to, so I changed my food and asked for something different. Now I had to wait about 45 minutes. Sadly, I was not patient enough after the first 30 minutes and my date had already completed his plate so I walked up to the manager. I told her about my complaint but sadly she acted nonchalant and did nothing. Finally once my waiter came back I told him I did not want the plate and asked for my recipes. I waited another 20 minutes for that. Then waited another 15 minutes for them to return with my credit card. Worst experience of my life! I would like a call and response to my complaint please.

"Amanda C" at the beckley, wv Ruby Tuesday location was so high I could hardly understand her when she spoke to me. On top of that, she reeked of marijuana! This is supposed to be a family restaurant & it's run by drug dealers & drug addicts. I will not be returning.

Ruby Tuesday poor management

I will never eat at this restaurant again. I went in this past sunday June 2, 2013 and I have to say this was the worst brunch experience I have ever had. The back of the house were so loud and vulgar that I decided to take my family elsewhere. We sat just on the other side of the wall from the aisle where the servers were and could hear everything. The fact that a manager was standing by the computer where the food comes out really upset me because he said not one thing to them about the noise. Do you really run a restaurant like this? It's no wonder their parking lot is always empty. This is not the first time that I have heard about the cooks here, but it will definitely be the last time I eat here.

Ruby Tuesday poor service/terrible food

I received a coupon in the mail and thought we would go out to eat with another couple before a night out of bowling. We ordered an appetizer and a steak with baked potato, French fries, salad . The next entree was the broccoli chicken pasta and the gumbo and chicken fresco with baked squash and our son had the kids pasta Alfredo. 1st the waitress forgot the French fries until after the steak was gone, both pasta were dry and lack of sauce that it was like eating dry pasta and my son didn't eat but 2 bites and that's his favorite, my baked squash was not cooked, the gumbo was the only dish that was pleasing. The waitress never brought us our appetizer and we had to ask other waitresses to get more drink refills. I was so dissatisfied with both the service but the quality and quantity of food for the price that both of us couples and son left angry and disappointed... We will never waste our money eating there again. I will go to Texas Roadhouse to get a steak and chicken and at least there I know it he portions are good, service is awesome and the food is awesome. Because I will let people know if they are thinking about going to Ruby Tuesdays to save there money, it's overpriced and bad service...

Went in to order takeout told to sit a bar. 20 minutes no one acknowledged me at all. I left and went to Applebees. You have competition it seems you would try harder.

They got all 3 meals wrong and overcharged for one. The manager refused to visit a nearby complaining table so we didn't try. Won't go back.

I have to agree with the others here. You tell your son to be dishonest. If you had plans to take him outside to eat why would you order a meal for him. No wonder he only took a few bites he was not hungry. You already fed him.

@Alaskan4ever, Shame on you! I see you won't get any sympathy here from any body here. When you get your food and something is missing say so right then and there, don't wait until you're done with your meal. If the food doesn't taste good call the waitress over and tell her RIGHT THEN AND THERE! Sounds as if you were looking for a free meal before you went to that particular restaurant. You didn't say whether the restaurant was busy or not. I bet you left a really dinky tip too, huh? And another thing---you knew your son had eaten BEFORE you went out--why would you order a big meal for him? The gall of it all.

I also told him he was to go straight to his room after school for the next week and straight to bed after supper. Not that that is any of your business, but at nine he should know better than to be stupid and say something out loud when I don't want it overheard.

My son was angry because I asked him to tell the waitress that he did not like the food so we could get it for free. He was very stupid and said it out loud so the waitress could hear that he was full because he already had two hot dogs and a soda an hour before we took him to the restaurant. Since the waitress knew this was the truth I could not get her to take his meal off the bill. When he asked her to take it home I told her to throw it out. So because he was stupid enough to say this out loud I told him he would not be allowed to bowl because he disobeyed me.

Ruby Tuesday service is terrible

This has to be the worst managed restaurant I've ever visited. The service is slow and the staff are incompetent. There were so many complaints from customers from not getting silverware, taking so long to give order and then food taking a long time. It was distracting listening to all the tables complaining and requesting the manager. I did not check the reviews prior but now see the hundreds of complaints about this Ruby Tuesday, I can't believe nothing has been done to correct how this place is managed and get better staff. I give this place a F- for customer service.

We were long time customers on Ruby Tuesday Alexandra, VA location. For the last several years we have noticed many changes in staff and Managers and food, and not for the better. We gave them three chances in the last month hoping thy could serve a meal correctly. The last my wife's steak was well done not medium as we asked. They served two smashed and lousy tasting biscuits. they used to at least give us four for two people and tasted much better. I ordered the Chef's Cut steak which was smaller then the steak and shrimp combo my wife had. I know what it should look like as that's what I normally order. The Salad Bar only has old lettuce not fresh, no romaine. The server didn't even bring us set ups of knife & fork, we had to take them from another table. The Manager is always somewhere else never out making sure people are happy. The server's have no training and if they do this one failed on several counts. So we will not be back and return to the Outback which has trained servers, and consistent food.

Ruby Tuesday disgusting and intolerable bartender

Visited a1a Bellair Plaza Ruby Tuesday today at 1.00 pm. Had the worse service at the bar. The bartender was battered with a black eye, an not to her ability. Order lunch an that was over charged due to a 2.00 miss take. Had 6 beers ordered 3 more never charged. Order a glass ice got a glass of water. The other girl ordered a beer an was charged 8.00 for the coors lite that was 2.00. Now we will go to the restrooms, that were filthy. There was a towel wrapped around the pipes an a bucket to catch the water. The tiles are an floor are disgusting. I am a bartender of 34 years an my friend is a bar owner in volusia county. We do not service our our patrons in this way, an we are not corp. I will turn them in to the health dept. Disgusting!

SHy dont you shut your hole. Anyways more to this story my friend and i went together and we were drunk so we were hiting on the black eye lady. Remind you we were drunk at the time and had no idea what we was doing. So they threaened to call police on us because we were making her feel uncomforatble. if her husband or boy friend gave her the black eye she deserved it because she is real rude. I asked for her phone number and that is when she got rude with us. She said she was married i said i don't care just one date with us then she got rude.

Ruby Tuesday lousy food service & bad management

Lousy food service & bad management: This restaurant, needs to be put out of it's misery, and go out of business! The food is poorly cooked (mostly just stale or reheated & not served fresh), Ruby Tuesday also badly mistreats their minority employees; often firing them without reason, or using racial slurs towards them, and always forcing them to work in the back of the kitchen.. My experience eating there was a nightmare, the waitresses all have attitude problems, and the management are incompetent. I definately would NOT recommend to others to eat at Ruby Tuesday in Aiken!

Ruby Tuesday didn't honor coupon

My son and I went to ruby tuesday with a coupon for lunch. We presented it to the hostess and server before we ordered. The food and service weren't bad even though she forgot our biscuits. I paid cash and then realized that the server never took off the coupon. She and the manager discussed it and refused to take off $4 for the meals as advertised. They said nothing could be done after the bill was closed out. But I could come back tomorrow and use it. Question: why would I come back if you screwed me over? I filed a complaint with corporate (August 27th, 2012) and still have not heard back. My next complaint will go the the better business bureau. Very poor customer service.
