Over the past year they have aggressively been pursuing our company for what they claim is a past due balance of $566.04 with Advantx.com. We have never hired / done work with Advantx.com and pay all of our invoices net 32 days, if not sooner. We have a Dunn and Bradstreet rating of 3A1. This company has a pattern when calling of refusing to provide back...

Receivables Performance Management / RPM Payments Harrassing phone calls, rude employees, fraudulent claims

No address or other information is available about this company. They call our house several times a day, at all hours, claiming that they are a collections agency that works for First Premier bank. Though we have never owed any money to this bank, and though our credit ratings are excellent, they claim we owe them an undisclosed amount of money, and insist that we give up personal information over the phone such as my husband's social security number. The staff members who call are rude, sometimes swearing if challenged.

For the last year we have continued to get calls from this collection company called RPM. They are attempting to collect on some MCI bill of about $250 for an Atlanta number/account, they have no information, will provide no information and can't tell me anything so that i could help them resolved their issue. I am in Dallas and not in Atlanta for over 10...

Receivables Performance Management / RPM Payments Harrasing calls.

Continually calling my phone number. My credit is excellent, and I have no debts. I have no idea why these people call. I no longer answer their calls.

RPM has been calling me sometimes twice a day. Never leave a message. So, One day I called them back and I was transfered 4 times to 4 different people (neither of them knew what was going on). They wanted me to tell them my information about me. I told them they called me they should arleady have this information. Finally I got the ### of them and hung up. Somehow they have gotten my cell phone number so I set my cell phone to no one can call my cell phone unless they are in my address book.
They kept telling me i have been ignoring letters that were sent. I have NEVER received any letters from them. I have never even heard of them up until two weeks ago

I also have been getting harrassing phone calls from this company, in fact, as we speak, I have gotten 3 calls from them within the last hour. They never leave a message on the answering machine, in fact, the only way I could kno who they were was to call the number back from my caller ID. I got a message saying that all of their representatives were "currently busy", imagine that, I'm sure they were not busy harrassing other people. Anyway, if anyone knows of a way to stop this insanity, please let me know. Thanx

RPM is harrassing me as well over a Fraudulent charge on my JC Penney account.

Someone at JCP knew the debt to be fraudulent because they never bothered to try and collect it themselves and JCP also changed my mailing address without my knowledge or consent, to ensure I would not dispute the fraudulent charges.

Everytime RPM calls we tell them to validate the debt in wrting and that we will not agree to anything unless they can prove that it is our debt.

Written demands for Debt validation have been sent to them as well as JC Penney's.

Its been 2 weeks since the first call and still no validation of debt. Since we believe them to be fraudulent charges - they are not going to be able to validate the debt.

When first contacted I was told I had "ignored" numerous mailings, when in fact they were using an incorrect address provided by the original creditor and those were all returned by the post office as "UNDELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED".
They knew I was not receiving them, but chose to use the "YOU IGNORED" lie.

One rep called and spoke to my husband who is not on the account and told him that he spoke to me and I told him to call my husband to arrange for payment. Another LIE and violation of FDCPA laws. I never spoke to this rep and will be filing charges when against them.

I plan on working directly with JC Penney on this matter as this is a fraudulent bill they attempted to hide from me, then sold as a bad debt and damaged my credit rating.

I have filed formal complaints against JC Penney's with the
Federal Trade Commission, TX State Attorney Generals and the US Postal Service (mail fraud)

Receivables Performance Management / RPM Payments Unauthorized debits

About two and a 1/2 months ago, a guy from rpm who had been continuously calling, told me he would give me a settlement on an old Verizon bill but I had to make a one time payment then and there. The orig amount I owed was over$300. He offered to settle for $200. I made a $50. And agreed to send in $25/month thereafter. Today, two months later, I see that those sob's took $56.00 out of my account "unauthorized!" Should you receive a deal like that, use an e-check! Good luck to all my fellow debtors!

A few weeks ago, RPM called me and asked would like to settle a credit card debt for a one time payment of $300.00. So, I agreed to it and we set up a date and time to take the money. I have a check that is deposit into my checking account every two weeks. This morning I went to the the automatic teller and I could not withdraw any money from my account. I went inside the bank and talked to the bank manager and she pulled up my account. Thirdly, she that RPM took all of my mony which was $600.00. The teller called them and asked why did you take all of the money instead of the amount that was agreed upon. In the meantime, I talked to the woman and she said that is what we do. Then to add insult to injury, she said at least you got it paid off. I was fumming because she knew that she was wrong, but of course, she will not admit to that. I learned a very valuable lesson not to authorize anyone to into your account.

Receivables Performance Management / RPM Payments Fraud and scam!

This company started calling my office about 10 days ago claiming that there was a Verizon bill from four years ago that my business hadn't paid. The sum was over $1, 000. I asked how could I have a Verizon bill that hadn't been paid when we were a Verizon client this whole time and we'd never received a past due bill from Verizon, or a call from Verizon.

Then, I said to just send the Verizon bill and we'd pay it, no problem. They told me that they couldn't send the bill as the account had been turned over to them. I said to send a bill, and we'd be happy to pay it. Since then, my Operations Manager and I have spoken to 10 persons from RPM. They leave different telephone numbers, and are all extremely abusive and nasty.

They told me they were going to indicate a refusal to pay on my credit rating. They did have the last four digits of my personal SS#. When I called and asked for a mailing address so I could have my attorney send them a letter, they slapped me on hold for numerous minutes, then a man named Donell got on the line and started screaming at me that he didn't have to give me a street address (evidently they only have a P.O. #). He asked my attorney's name, so I told him. Then he started screaming that he would call my attorney. I told him to go ahead and do that while he continued to scream at me.

They wanted my debit card # to pay the bill, wouldn't accept a check, didn't have an address, didn't have a copy of the bill. They're a total scam. Do not pay these people.

RPM called me from [protected] and wouldn't answer any questions, then hung up. Seems like fraud rather than legitimate debt collection.

These people kept calling my mother saying she owed medical bills when we have free government insurance. They would not leave us alone and were very disgusting and rude. We were definitely being harassed. I plan on making a report against these people. My mother allready paid 150 dollars and now they are calling again asking for more money. Sick [censor].
