Shell rude employees

The employees are lazy and rude. They will help a man behind you before they will pump gas for a women. They also
encourage the male drivers to cut off and block the female drivers at the pump. One employee won't give you gas without
writing down your license plate - even after you give him a credit card and are a local that goes there often.
Today the employee was laughing and talking about me to the young man who cut me off. I have left without getting
gas several times because of the employees rudeness. Today I cut my credit card and took it into the manager and told her I
wouldn't be back.

Shell skip - extremely rude employee

I am a regular customer who has been coming to this store for months. I needed quarters because my apt flooded so after working two jobs I went here and "skip" helped me. I was so thankful he was willing to give me quarters for my 3 dollars. I thanked him profusely but when I walked out the door I realized he had only given me 2.50. I normally would not care but I am a broke college student and needed to clean my soaked blanket! I went back in and he immediately became defensive and laughed and seemed offended. I was very polite and even called him "sir". He then asked me for the quarters so I gave them to him. He rudely threw back my 3 dollars and said, "here's your three dollars back!". I was stunned and horrified at his rudeness. I have a dying grandfather and a drenched apt! Just a reminder that we never know what people are going through and how important it is to be kind to people. Never go to this shell and if ed the manager has any sense he'll fire skip.

On November 19, 2017 I received a call from Shell Oil stating I was two months behind in payments. Even though my November statement showed no back balance on it.

I knew this not to be true, I had to give Shell my bank number and they took out $10 for minimum payment. Shell representative gave me a fax number to submit a copy showing where my payments had cleared the bank.

I did not hear anything from Shell Oil. I finally had to call them on the November 30, 2017 and checked on my balance. My account was still not corrected, I talked to a Shell representative who stated they could not read my fax.

I enlarged my fax and resent again. I received my latest bill on November 30, 2017. Shell had increased my interest rate to 33.+%. Shell's little idiot message stated I had done this.

I have sent Shell a letter stating I will pay the last two charges on the card and nothing more. I will be reporting this to the credit bureaus with copies of my payments that have cleared the bank. I have decided to cancel my Shell Oil card.

Do not do business with Shell Oil they have horrible accounting practices and try to con you out of additional monies.

Complaints board had sent a message to help me to claim shell award. Dr Chris Duke who is the claim agent was nominated by Complaints board. This man was identified by the security officers at the gate but the receptionist denied Dr Chris identity. His telephone line is not working. I want to know how to contact the claim agent and receive my award.

July 25, 2017 My husband filled his diesel tank. Truck started running rough. Spent $54 in Santa Fe. Problem corrected for a few miles, but then started again. He had to stop every few miles to clean the fuel filter. Problem stopped when fuel was used up and he refilled the tank.

Shell unclean

My 2 daughters and grandaughter went to this station on Friday Sept 17th to use the restroom and that place stunk so bad we had to hold our breath and try not to touch anything. My oldest daughter is in a wheel chair so we didn't have time to find someplace cleaner. I told the clerk his bathroom was very unsanitary and he just looked at me with no comment. I think this place needs to be looked at and made to clean it up. It's too nasty to use.

Shell one extremely rude/racist employee

I have been a paying customer at this gas station for almost 6 years and have never had problems with them until this year and the problems (twice in the past month) have been from the same employee. I use gift cards at stores sometimes instead of money because its more convenient but there is one employee that just started working there that thinks because a BLACK MAN has a giftcard, it must be stolen. (by the way my father gave me the card ###!) This guy at the register acts impatient has a rude tone of voice and an overall ### attitude. The first time this happened was in august i was given a card with a 50 dollar balance, went to make a purchase, and then when he saw the giftcard his demeanor changed, I then swiped the card to only to be rudely told that it was declined (a flat out ###ing lie). Just today i was given another card with a 75 dollar balance. i used it at the chevron gas station and it worked just fine. Later in the night i went to the shell to make a purchase and was greeted by this same ### and told that my card (which now has a 70 dollar balance) was declined. I do not believe this is a coincidence just some racist arab piece of ### trying to give me a hard time. Well guess what? you just lost a whole lot of paying customers and will not receive another damn penny from me. I refuse to spend MY money in an establishment that is racist.

Shell rude & pretends not to understand english

Monday at this Shell station is normally 10 cents off per gallon of diesel. I had accumulated more than 200 points on my Giant Card which should give me an extra 20 cents off per gallon. I had a gift card with $7 remaining and used it first expecting to be able to continue my purchase with my credit card. When the pump stopped, I attempted to insert my credit card; nothing happened. I walked into the clerk and tried to explain. He kept telling me to go back out and hang up the nozzle; I left my card with him. He had said the first time, he could give me the credit when I hung it up and came back in. Then he began to argue with me and couldn't do anything. I lost approximately $4.50 in diesel fuel savings tonight because the clerk was ignorant of how to explain the program and/or how to use the equipment at his fingertips. I asked for the owner and he says tomorrow morning. I took a picture of the pump and my receipts.

Two weeks ago when I went to this station, one of the diesel pumps auto-shutoff did not work. I went in to explain it to him. Again I was ignored and he mutters something about the "company". He did nothing to come out and clean up the fuel which had spilled on the ground.

Perhaps you should go back and READ my points over again before you go calling me stupid. Where did I say it was gas and what am I supposed to use to clean it up when the station isn't complying with the law and providing the materials for that purpose?

Shell Worthless service

On July 23, 2010 I tried to pay my bill online for the first time. I enetered all of my account information and recieved a confirmation number for my $4.36 payment. On August 2nd I recieved notice in the mail that the account number enetered was incorrect. I was unable to pay my bill online or by phone due to a 60 day hold on my account. When I spoke with Keith, a supervisor at Shell Credit card processing, he told me there would be nothing he could do to reverse the $49.00 charge that was on my account due to a returned check fee (there was no returened check- only an online ayment that did not go through). I now owe them an extra $49 over a $4 balance. This is unacceptable to me and I have closed my account. I believe their online billing practices to be exorbitant and unfair.

Shell clerk locks the door

On three separate nights between 10;30-10:48 the door is locked and No attendant in site. most nights I wait for her to come from the back, but tonightthere were already 2 other customers waiting . needless to say I no longer want to wait, i will be getting my gas down the street. did I mention the nights she is open amd on the cell phone.

Shell getting fake sms and mails

I have recived the sms as well as mail that I have won the 2010-uk-shell-oil&gas-internatinal-mobile-draw-, they want some personal details to be send. I send all the details required by the sender. Now after sending them all the details they sent a winning certificate, whcin is commonly available on the wbesite I found while searching...
They ask to pay arond india rs.24, 000/- before sending the winning draft to us to pay some tri county experess-the coureier company...

They think we dont not the courier charges to send a parcel...

How ever it seems idealy a fake scams to a way of fooling poor people, playing with their emotions...

Thank god! I dind't pay a single penny to them... Never will I pay...
Unlesss its real...

My only request to all the people who recived the similar mail...
Pls. Dont send any money to them...
Unless they send you the demand draft of the winning award... You see..in front of your eyes...

few days back i had received a message that i have won rs.250000 in your mobile draw of shell petroleum company it was like this in our mobile draw 2010 your number has been awarded rs.250000 and to collect your money please contact us via mail and the website was shellpetroleum.[protected]@live.com... So if this is true then i request you to pay the amount liable to pay and if this message is fake then close down your company.

Shell faulty shut-off valve on pump

On June 12, 2010, after filling our car with gasoline, the pump shut-off valve failed to work. Gallons of gasoline spilled out of the nozzle while we desperately tried to get the valve unstuck. There was gas all over the ground and the car, and gas had splashed on our clothes and shoes. The attendant at least spread an absorbent material on the ground, but never bagged the nozzle nor placed an out of order sign on the pump. We asked for a refund on our credit card for the gas that spilled because of the faulty valve. It amounted to at least a $20 overcharge. This was denied us because "it was our fault" for letting the gas spill. We insisted that the attendant let us talk to the supervisor who wasn't there at the time. The attendant tried to get the supervisor on the phone but the supervisor wouldn't answer his cell phone. Since we were traveling and needed to get on home in another state, we left frustrated by the fact that another person or persons would likely have the same thing happen to them. The pump needed to be shut down and repaired. It would have been nice to get a "sorry, " if not a refund, for the mess and danger we went through.

if you were standing right there and could not get the pump to stop they shouldnt charge you. if you put the pump on 'auto piolet' and walked away then yes, it is your fault. You are never to leave a pump unattended

Shell theft

My employee and I went into the Shell Gas Station on Broadway to get him some change for working for me. The Clerk didn't gave me my change back. The Lady behind me seen it and spoke up at which point I didn't think anything of it. We went outside and realized she was right. We confronted the Clerk and she began to laugh at us, waveing a Ten dollar bill in our face. Im in the process of sueing now. Oh, she gave us a fake reciept

If you're ever in that predicament again and find yourself short changed at a cashier, call the owner and the police, and request a drawer count be taken. I suppose there's nothing to stop the clerk from stuffing the money into their pocket but nowadays, most gas stations have a video camera that will show the ower and police exactly what really happened.

I had a Costco purchase a few months ago where I paid some in cash and the rest in debit card. When I checked the receipt the cash of the transaction was $100 short of what I handed her. She swore up and down she didn't make a mistake. I politely said I might be mistaken, but for my own peace of mind could she and a manager please do a drawer count at end of shift and to call me if she was over. Sure enough they called me the next morning. I knew it was an honest mistake. If I had sensed it was intentional I would have demanded a drawer count and review of video by Loss Prevention. If management were uncooperative, I'd have called the police and filed a report, which gives the police access to the tapes.

Shell not premium fuel

Im certain they are selling regular fuel from their premium dispensers. I have a cadillac that requires premium fuel, and when i put regular fuel in it has to ### the timing so much that it starts quitting at stop lights and lurching at low speeds.

On may 23, 2010, i was on empty, put 40.07 of PREMIUM fuel in, and less than a block from the gas station my "service emissions system" warning came on, check engine light came on, and started lurching under 50kph, when i was nearing my destination that evening it QUIT at 50kph as i was leaving the freeway in the south end of calgary.

I fixed this by adding OCTANE BOOSTER, to make up for the difference in octane, which reduces pinging in high compression motors, which if was sufficient, would not have been needed to compensate by ###ing the timing in my car so much it began quitting on freeways!

This happened previously when i put in midgrade fuel at a small fas gas station, but by simply topping up my tank with premium at a petro canada, my codes cleared within hours and the car began behaving normally.

Im looking for more ways to lodge a complaint, really, who knows if they are getting what they pay for at the pumps. Anyone else have a vehicle that tells them its not premium? This is an eye opener

Shell upfront fee to sell or rent

When I purchased my timeshare through Shell Vacation they told me they could resell it to their other members at any time. They told me it would hold the value and it would be no problem to resell it if I needed or wanted to. They also told me they could rent it to other members later and again they would take care of that. I held it for about a year and wanted to sell it. Shell told me they did not do that at all and referred me to Resort Solutions. I paid an upfront fee that they told me was good until it told no matter how long it took. It has been three years now and it has not sold, has not been rented, and in fact they have done nothing to get it sold. They did however send me repeated emails asking for more money to re-list it. I refused and now I'm in limbo. Also, Shell keeps increasing my annual maintenance fees, which they originally told me would never happen. They do not apply my payments correctly and I can't get them to fix the billing. At this point I have a worthless timeshare that I can't seem to do anything with and that includes getting my money back. If any attorneys are out there filing a class action lawsuit against either company I would like to be a part of it. They took advantage of me, lied to me, misled me every step of the way and refuse to make good on it!

Thanks so much for the information on renting. I tried to rent it through the agency Shell recommended but they never got it rented. So, I am out the original money to purchase, annual maint. fees and the fee to this company to sell or rent it and they did nothing. I appreciate you recommending my timeshare to rent. I hope I can at least do that because the fees just keep going up, another thing they told me would never happen. They are just a bunch of liars.

Dont rent throught Agency, I did this mistake too. They called us and offer to rent our timeshare, we paid them for service, they never rent no one week. AFTER all those mistakes I find the way to rent myself with NO "middle" part. That web site is pretty good, where I put my advertisement. People just send you offer over e-mail and you rent your weeks yourself. I was afraid about payments (fraud cheque or so) but one of my "quest" explained to me how I can accept payment with no risk - with PayPal account.
Little bit homework save me now some money, but still I paid 2 times for AGENCY and SELLER. Total lost ~2500.00 not including the timeshare price, as you can quess.

Hi, Lisa... I think not only you get in trouble with timeshare, all of us who bough "very valuable" timeshare lost money and still loosing.
We bough Sol Melia timeshare, the same story like yours. When we called back and told them we don't want to, they said we can not do anything about it. We had phone conversation over and over. No chances you can win! They prepared for all your arguments and questions.
What we do - we rent our timeshare ourself. Every week [protected], at least we can get some amount back. And we don't pay money for that service. We rent on web site Vacation Timeshare and rentals. We have our timeshare for 2 years, I rented 2 weeks allready, and I have people asking me to rent every month or so.
I know it's not the money what we lost, but atleast some "candy". So pity, that every day people still getting to this "timashare" ###, we learn from our mistakes, I know that, but as much we put complaints less people will loose ... Still, it's sad because we already lost. I will recommend you to rent you vacation weeks, at least you will cover your maintenance every year. It's not so hard, when somebody will be interested to get your weeks, go through PayPal, order for them hotel, accept payment, giver them confirmation letter for that week (Head Office will send to you VOUCHER for GUEST) It's how I do, some people teach me how to accept payment with PayPal (I never did this before), it's possible to figure out even for us (older generation).
Good luck, just think that so many people did the same - THEY purchase TIMESHARE. Now we have to figure out how to fix this problem.

Shell manager's bullying and chauvinistic attitude

Went to Dee's JKF Shell Station on Beach Street in Bloomfield, NJ this morning. Asked for a full tank of regular gas and gave the attendant my credit card. When my tank was full, he asked me for my card. I said I had given it to him already. He checks his pockets, his office, etc., and said he did not have it. He asked me for my card again. I told him that I had given it to him.(getting nervous now - I was the only female at the gas station and he apparently lost my credit card!). He insisted that I did not give him my card and I said that I had given him my card. He treated me like an idiot, telling me to look in my purse - I show him my wallet where i keep my card and the slot was empty. I told him that if he did not find my card, I could not pay for my gas. He wanted my home phone number - I said no (after all, he had no name tag or id badge and had just lost my credit card!). The manager came over and was snarky with me right from the start. Gave me a left-handed sarcastic apology - totally made me feel like I was the problem, instead of his careless attendant. Totally chauvinistic and bullying manner from the gas station manager, Frank, who identified himself as a Bloomfield fireman - was that supposed to intimidate me? So, I called my husband, who called our bank and he also called the Bloomfield Police because if the card was given to someone else, it could lead to credit card fraud, id theft - kind of serious, but Frank the Fireman was annoyed with ME the entire time. My husband came with his card to pay for the gas, the officer showed up, still Frank is sticking his face into my car window, giving me a hard time, bullying me, telling me I had an attitude and then accusing me of trying to leave without paying for the gas. The Bloomfield Police Officer was Right In Front of My Car - I did not try to leave and husband was standing Right Next to the Bloomfield Police Officer with His Credit Card! If Frank the Bloomfield Fireman, had bothered to even try to be a little bit understanding, I wouldn't be writing this, but he continued to bully me, demanding payment for the gas and acting like a total ***. He lost my credit card, I have to wait 10 days for a new one, I missed an important meeting at work and was late for work, and all he cares about is telling me about how is he is a Bloomfield Fireman -- still trying to scare Me with that? He has Zero Customer Service Skills. If all you need is gas, I suppose you could go there, but if you want to be treated like a human being, go somewhere else! Do Not Patronize Frank, the manager of Dee's JKF Shell on Beach Street in Bloomfield. Oh, did I mention that Frank is a Bloomfield Fireman? That should help!

Shell Broke my windshield and refuse to take responsibility

I recently had my car fixed at the Menlo-Atherton Shell Service Station at 1400 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, CA, 94025. Phone Number: [protected]. I had a bad experience there due to lying and mistreatment by the staff there. They had my car for a total of about 2.5 days. The first time on Tuesday, April 27th for about 8 hours. I picked it up after I was told it was all fixed. However, the same problem that I brought it in for and was told was fixed happened again the next day. So I brought it back. This was not the part that was so awful. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they made a mistake. So I paid to have something else fixed the second time. I went to pick it up on Friday, April 30th. It was at this time that I noticed, right away, that there was a new crack in my windshield. I can say with 100% certainty that this crack was definitely not there when I took the car in on the Wednesday before, the 28th. They had called and asked permission to drive it Thursday night to make sure the problem didn't happen again. They claimed that the they only drove it up and down the street a few times. I don't believe this to be the case, but shame on me for not marking down the exact mileage before I brought it in. Basically when I showed them the crack they pretended like they had no idea and this was the first they had seen of it. It was Tony that I was dealing with at this time. Then the supposed "boss", Dan, told me there is no way for me to prove it wasn't already there when I brought the car in and therefore they don't have to take responsibility for it. This kind of blatant disrespect and awful service to customers is a travesty. They are legally responsible.

Shell faulty shut off on pump

Filling up my tank tonight to be surprised by gas spilling from my car the ground because the shut off valve didn't trip on the pump (once my tank was full). I went inside to tell the attendant, but his response was of confusion because he doesn't speak English well enough to understand what I was trying to tell him. I even brought him outside to my car to have him tell me that everything was okay with the pump. Even after I showed him the pool of gasoline on the ground, he still couldn't comprehend that something was the matter and the pump needed to be bagged. Not going to Shell again: I'll drive home on an empty tank next time!

Good Afternoon my name is Roland Goetz from South Africa.I was recently contacted to say that I had won a joint Facebook /RDS Lottery, I was even sent a certificate which I will try to attach.
I was asked to pay handling fees to the tune of $7000.00. How this came about was that I got a FB Messenger from a friend on FB Andrew Jennings to say that he had received R300, 000.00 and that he had seen my name on the list and gave me the link to Lisa Ann Margie the claims agent for RDS and Facebook head of deliveries. Well a few things did not add up. Mr. Jennings who is a friend ( who I know ) sent me some personal details in this text that did not add up to the Andrew Jennings that I know? Plus the urgency for me to send the handling fee struck me as odd? My Email address is rolandcedricgoetz@gmail.com I have put them off about sending the money was to say that I am in Luanda Angola waiting for my Work Visa which is true, and I could not internet bank them that amount as it was above my Internet limit, and would have to Visit my ABSA SA, Bank in Westville Durban to send the total funds required.
