Royal Administration Services Vehicle warranty

Royal Administration Services, Inc. (my extended vehicle warranty) denied my claim for repairs to my vehicle even though I was within the contract stating "required" maintenance to be done on the vehicle. Per the vehicle manual, there is "recommended" maintenance which was also taken care of. This has been an ongoing battle with them since 5/17/2023. I had to get my vehicle repaired as I have to be able to get to and from work whether or not they denied the repair. I accrued the cost of repairs and rental vehicle costs due to a false denial of service in the first place. This totaled out to $3,612.20. I am seeking reimbursement of these repairs and the five days reimbursement out of the full rental fees per my contract. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one was not available with no attempt to have one call me back either. Very disappointing and I would not recommend using this company for ANY warranty help.

Royal Administration Services Refuse to cover warranty items repaired

My car went in for repairs for a wheel hub and front axle shaft. Royal denied the items stating they were part of the suspension which is supposedly not covered under the warranty. The wheel bearing and axle shaft are rotary items that are part of the drive train. Rotary items are rotational and therefore not part of the suspension. This is the second time I have had a claim that Royal has refused to pay for a covered item. I, in good faith and on time, paid my premiums yet Royal refuses to hold up their part of the contract. This case will most likely end up in court as the cost for all repairs are almost $1,300! I could not and would not under any circumstances recommend this car extended warranty company. Stay far away from them. They refuse to cover any repairs and try to confuse or talk around not only the consumer but the the professional mechanics. My mechanic has already told me he is happy to accompany me to court on this matter. I couldn’t and wouldn’t even give this company a 1 star rating. They are rude and dismissive to customers and I was even hung up on by Pauline during the call to address this issue. I had no more success with the manager Henry. He just told me to email them. I don’t see this getting resolved any other way than in court. See you in front of the judge.

Desired outcome: I want the repairs covered by the warranty company, in good faith, honoring the contract they sold to me.

Royal Administration Services Stop harassing people!

Funny story, not really, which starts about 2 years ago. I started receiving letters in the mail with nothing else on the front except the words, final notice! Now when the average person sees something like this show up in your mail all kinds of thoughts go through your head. Is this the irs? Maybe a bill I missed! Then you open it up to find that someone is trying to sell you a car warranty service. With this, I got a little annoyed and threw the letter away. But wait, this adventure doesn't stop there! A month, later lo and behold another letter in the mail that states, final notice! Again, automatic reaction is, this could be the irs! Maybe a bill I missed! Then you open it up to find a nice pile of garbage about a car warranty. Then after about 5 or 6 of these I end up calling the number to try and stop the mail. That was a huge mistake because then I started receiving phone calls about my final notice! At that point you start getting frustrated due to the constant additional garbage in your mail and more phone calls, even though you are on the federal do not call list. Over the last two years when talking with these [censored] over the phone it has been extremely hard trying to find out who and where they are located, because by the time I actually get a hold of someone that I could talk to and ask these questions they would just hang up on me. Every time I would get a call, I would tell them to put me on the do not call list but the personnel I was able to talk with would hang up on me. So, all I had in hand at that time was a couple phone numbers that were calling and harassing me and no other information like business name or location to report to the fcc. Now, when you finally get to talk to someone and tell these guys over the phone to take you off the calling list you would think that would stop the calls right? Hell no. I still got the letters and still got the random phone calls. I run a small business and I need to be picking up my phone for current and potential customers. It has become a waste of time and money for me to continue to get these letters and phone calls. Anyway, as I digress. I started blocking the 800 numbers that were calling me and do you think that stopped them from calling me? Hell no, these guys are professional [censored]. They then started calling me from my local area code so I couldn't tell if it was an [censored] or a customer. I knew no matter what I was going to continue to get these phone calls and letters, so I dealt with it. Then finally, 2 days ago, I received a phone call as I was driving into work! Guess who it was, go on, guess. The warranty [censored] were back! Woo hoo! I was listening to the recording and you know how it goes. You have the option to talk to someone or get put on the, do not call list. Which as you know, doesn't work. I chose to talk with someone, again. I got a nice guy on the phone who seemed very excited to talk to me. He asked if I had received a letter in mail, I then muted my phone screamed out loud and threw up in my mouth a little bit. I told him, "yes, I received your letter". I then asked him, I have 3 cars and was wondering which vehicle was the letter was referring to. His crafty response was, the oldest one. Ya, you know he didn't know which vehicle. So I told him I had a 2017 q7 that needs a warranty on it. He walked me through the scram they offer and started asking me a few questions. Does my vehicle have any issues? Now, I know they are liars so I fibbed a bit of course also. I told him my vehicle is leaking oil all over the place and the check engine light is on but I have no idea what it is on for. After giving him this information I was waiting for him to tell me previous issues wouldn't be covered. He never said it! He stated that everything would be fine and if I pay over the phone now everything would work out. He threw a number at me, $3800 for 4 years. I said that for $3200 I could get an extended warranty at the dealership and if he could go any lower, I may consider it. He then passed me on to what he called some type of financial specialist. A young lady got on the phone and she stated she could go as low at $3079. Wow! What a deal! She said that she was standing by for my credit card information to begin this amazing warranty that was going to fix my already screwed up car. Wait, pause, what did she just say? Lets slow down and go over this real quick. So this random person on the phone wants my credit card information and I have no idea who, where or what they are. I told her there is no way I am giving her my credit card information over the phone to some random person and or business that I have no information about. I said I am going to need an invoice sent to my email so I can verify your information and business. She wouldn't do it! She kept saying, "its ok, the service will start instantly if you pay now over the phone." what the hell does that statement have to do with proving you are a legitimate business? I asked her how are they still in business? Do people actually pay for this crap over the phone without any information or proof of who they are? I figured obviously they were doing just fine, they were still calling me so that means there are dummies out there who are willing to give their credit card info over the phone to individuals they have no idea who or what they represent. At this point they were just trying to have me start a payment plan and to have me give them $100 bucks up front over the phone! I said no, I want to pay the amount in full, but before I do that, I will need an email from you with an invoice. She refused to do it and just kept repeating, "its ok, because the service will start instantly". Wtf! Ok, I tried to help her look at it a different way. I told her that this is like me calling your house and randomly asking for your credit card information. She doesn't know who I am and my response to her for being nervous, giving sensitive information over the phone is, "its ok, i'm a robot, give me money and your problems will go away". I told her I will not do business with anyone like this. If they wanted my money, they would have to give me more information about themselves. Finally, she gave me their business name and website! I couldn't believe it! 2 years of these [censored] harassing me, and I finally got their business name and website. I informed her of the harassment I have received from them and she said, "don't worry I will take you off our calling list". I told her, "no you won't", because I have asked them to do that for over a year! I hung up the phone and went to royaladmin.com. Now, I have heard scammers pretending to be a business that they are not, so I wanted to give these guys on this website the benefit of the doubt. I looked it over and they looked like a legit vehicle warranty service. I then noticed they were registered with the better business bureau. I started combing through all the complaints on their bbb webpage and then I knew instantly these guys are the [censored] that have been harassing me for years. I couldn't believe I finally, after all these years, finally found out who these [censored] where. This story is going to every webpage, every review website I can find, and last but not least, I finally get to report these [censored] to the fcc. Damn what a waste of my life, but if these guys can be stopped from harassing anyone else, then it is worth it.

Royal Administration Services car warranty

This company is a ripoff. My son has a warranty with this company and his car needs to be repaired. He took it to the Audi repair shop and they clearly are saying that the engine needs a cylinder block and cylinder wall. Curtis at Royal is saying that it is normal wear and tear. Charles at the Audi repair is clearly saying it is not wearvand tear. I have contacted a law firm for a class action suit.

Royal Administration Services Refund for cancellation of extended warranty #cfp001585 on 2006 saab 9/3.

M name is Diane Allen, 18611 Sagewood Dr, Dallas, TX 75252. On April 28th 2017 I verbally agreed to purchase an extended warranty on my 2006 Saab 9/3, vin # YS3FD49Y661138538 through Royal Administration Services with Auto Protection 1. I cancelled that contract, # CFP001585, in writing on May 25th. Letter of cancellation was sent to Royal Administration, Auto Protection 1 and PayLink Direct. At that time I had paid the original $180 and the first monthly payment of $180.00 paid to Paylink Direct. I spoke with Lindsey at Royal Administration Services several times and she said my payments would be refunded within 30 to 60 days. It has now been well over the 60 days and I have not received my refund and have had no correspondence from anyone since.

Royal Administration Services Warranty

My husband and I signed up both of our vehicles with this warranty company in December. First I think they may us one of those companies that help you delete negative reviews because after the way they just handled our claim I am amazed that this company has the high reviews that are shown. We, in part, made our decision to sign up with them as oppose to another company, based on reviews that we'd read. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I was told by my repair company that they denied my claim and made an excuse that the issue was pre-existing. My vehicle has been driven over a thousand miles with no issue since I purchased this warranty. It began to hesitate. I took it in and was told my timing belt was stretched. I spoke with a customer service rep from the company that used phrases like it "could have been preexisting" he said it "usually takes at least one thousand miles for an issue like this to occur" however when we signed up we had to report the mileage and my vehicle has been driven over 1300 miles since we signed up! Also, I called various service departments at well known car dealerships in the area. I've spoken with master mechanics etc... who all said this is a crock of bull and is an assumption. Also, all of the research I've done online states the contrary. It's one thing if this were true but to try to get out of paying the claim by stating that this could have been preexisting leads me to believe that this company is a SCAM. When dealing with a vehicle this statement could almost be used for anything. Unless you take your car apart and examine every piece before signing up anything could be said to be pre-existing. We've paid over 7, 000 for two warranties for nothing but an unethical company who is in the business of taking money and selling warranties but not covering you if you actually have a problem! SAVE YOUR MONEY... DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that she was busy and would have to call me back later. I spoke with them at 9 am this morning. No call back all day while I am without a vehicle. It doesn't seem like customers matter. I asked the rep for the corporate info and was told they are just one stand alone company. I asked about the owner, higher level manager etc... he said he couldn't give me any information and I just had to wait for a supervisor to call me which never happened.

We get their robo calls twice a day. Their sales pitch is vary false and they are not willing to give you a written contract in writing before you make the purchase. They promise 30-days cancellation, but according to my research this is very difficult.
They even threaten me with:" You car title has one strike on because you have already declined one extended warranty offer. Now, we are putting a second strike on your car title... so good luck selling your car." This is of course total BS.

Royal Administration Services Warranty

After selling me a worthless warranty this company wants to put an engine in my car that was in a major accident and have me pay 4800

I was sold a car by San Diego Auto Connection with an extended warranty that is a scam. My engine went bad before my first oil change was even due

I took my car to bmw of San diego I even paid for the tow once I verified bmw of San diego was an approved vendor which they are.

The warranty company Royal Admin had my engine tore down several times to get out of paying the claim and intended to not pay but also pass the costs of the tear down that bmw said was unnecessary and each time bmw told royal Admin the costs associated.

Royal Admin denied my claim initially before I was even due for an oil change and bmw said my oil levels were good

Royal Admin reviews the denial and reverses it slightly once realizing I am in the right only to try to pass the costs of their shady behavior over to me

Royal Admin doesn't care to do the right thing instead they are barely covering the costs the racked up and trying to make me paying close to 5k for an engine that was in a major accident and the car salvaged

Royal Administration Services Extended warranty scam ripoff

Beware of purchasing an auto warranty from CarChex!
I purchased an expensive CarChex/Royal Administration extended warranty policy for $3, 090.00 for a Silver Coverage. Since the purchase I have not had any issues with my BMW 328i 2007 since I take good care of it. However recently, the window regulator of my left rear window has been failing and my window is not going up. But since I purchased a warranty so that I wouldn’t have to worry for this type of failures I was confident that there was nothing to worry about. For reassurance, I went back to my contract agreement which states:
“2. GENERAL TERMS
The following General Terms are applicable at all times:

B. FAILURE OF COVERED COMPONENTS: We will pay or reimburse You for reasonable costs to repair or replace a Covered Component in the event of a Breakdown. Our amount of authorization may be based on the utilization of new parts, remanufactured parts, or replacement parts of like kind and quality.
C. APPROVAL OF COVERED REPAIRS: All Covered Repairs must receive prior authorization by the Administrator. The Administrator may be contacted at [protected].

3. COVERAGE
This Contract covers ONLY the components/parts listed below:
...
ELECTRICAL:Alternator, voltage regulator, starter motor, starter solenoid, ignition switch, front & rear wiper motors and switches, washer pump and switch, headlamp switch, turn signal switch, rear defroster switch, AC/heater blower speed switch, power window motors, regulators and switches, power door lock actuators and switches.”

Since the agreement was clear that it would cover the window regulator, I went and followed the instructions for a claim and brought my car to the shop. The next day, after the diagnosis, the shop called me to tell me that they received the authorization from the warranty which I thought was good news. However they added that there would be a ~$250 balance since the warranty would not cover the whole cost of the repair. My deductible is $100 and this is all I can afford right now. I got so shocked by the news that I decided to call the administrator to get a better understanding of the situation. When I called Royal, they said I had to talk to Carchex because they are the ones I had the contract/agreement with. When I called CarChex they said that Royal was the administrator they are the ones to negotiate with.
Both companies refused to let me talk to a supervisor and continued repeating that they will only cover a certain amount of hours for the job. They tried to make me understand that I should be directing my concerns to my shop instead for charging for more hours. Why would I need to have a warranty if I wanted to deal with the shop? Nowhere is it said in the agreement that a component replacement/repair would be covered to a certain limit. If I knew there was possibility that a covered repair would not cover fully the costs other (minus my deductible) I would have reassessed the need to have a warranty or reassessed where I would bring my car. Now that my car is already at the shop even if I would want to shop around and go to another place I would still have to pay for a $140 diagnosis fee so it would just not make any sense whatsoever.

I tried to negotiate with them saying that in the future I will not go to the same shop and would go to a cheaper one if I have to, and to please be considerate since it is my first time using the service. I even begged them! They started yelling at me as if they were the victim! Can you believe that? They continued repeating that there is nothing else that they will do and would not consider my case. Basically they continued refusing to resolve the situation with me.I am extremely frustrated and feel that I am being ripped off by them. I feel that they have the worst customer service ever and do not know that their client’s satisfaction should be their goal. They are clearly not aware of that. Therefore I would recommend anyone to stay away from them and not to make the same mistake I did. I have been doing research and seeking legal counsel. I prefer losing money through legal/resolution actions rather than letting this go... That is how disappointed I am.

This happened to us as well except for far worst and far more money was lost. I lost my job because of these people, my credit has since been trashed because of these people. We bought a 2005 Ford F-150 and got a 30 day warranty or 1, 000 miles. We drove the truck for 6 days and the engine started knocking. I followed the exact procedures as you did and this company just denied my claim and according to the dealership we needed a whole new engine that would cost us $8400.. We just bought the truck... They came out and denied the entire claim because they said the tires for 18" rimed tires and there should only be 17" rims on the truck so they refused to pay a dime for the truck. We are going to sue them and get together a class action law suit.. I really want to make these people pay for what they have done to me. We spent $12, 500 on this truck and got the warranty did everything in the correct order and yet they denied everything..!

Royal Administration Services Non-payment of extended warranty

Hi,

I purchased a 1700 extended warranty from what was three years ago People's Auto Insurance, and is not Royal Insurance Group. Not only do very few mechanics accept this type of insurance, but when I found one that did they refused to pay out.
I have a late 90s Ford Mustang, and when my car went into the shop the mechanic told me I needed a horn, instrument cluster, timing chain, gasket covers, a power steering pump and a new rack and pinion. Since the entire instrument cluster, including the odometer, horn, heat gauge, and battery gauge, is damaged, they not only refused to pay for the repairs, they also dropped my policy. Since the instrument cluster was broken, which includes the odometer, horn, battery gauge and oil gauge, they denied the claim because of the broken odometer. The car is a summer car, and my auto insurance only covers 3, 000 miles a year, a number I am far under. However, the damage to the instrument cluster, including the horn and odometer as well as the damage to gaskets and power steering pump was probably missed the first time by my mechanic during his original repairs. The mechanic showed the adjuster that the entire instrument cluster failed, not only the odometer. The insurance company is arguing that I have been driving around in a car with no horn or gauges since my last visit to the garage, which would be absolutely foolish and dangerous to do. They claimed they would send me a letter discussing returning a pro-rated amount of funds corresponding to how much was left on my insurance. There are many loopholes in this policy.

Royal Administration Services Extended warranty

I purschased an auto warranty for my Volvo XC90 from Royal Administration Services. After driving to PA for a family vacation my check engine light went on so I brought my Volvo to Karp Volvo to get the truck checked out. I was told by Frank at service that the angle gear in the transmission needed to be replace and the gas cap needed to be replaced. A call was then put into Royal and an inspector/adjustor would come and check the vehicle. My truck was inspected on July 25, 2011 by Mark (an independant inspector/adjustor) hired by Royal Admistration Services. Mark notified Larry at Royal about the things that needed to be replaced. The response that I got from Royal was that they wanted the transmission taken apart. Frank at Karp Volvo explained that you do not take apart Volvo transmissions. I then called Royal to see if I can resolve this matter but had to speak with serval people (Sarah, Craig, Sarah and Marie) getting VERY upset and angry I then asked to speak to the Supervisor. I was then put on the phone with Larry (after 7 hours of calling this company). Larry was VERY rude, talking over me and not letting me ask the questions that I wanted answers to, he just put the blame on myself and Karp Volvo. I then called Frank at Karp Volvo and explained to him that Larry the Supervisor at Royal was a very rude man and didn't get anywhere with this phone conversation. Frank then put a call into Royal and asked Larry to send out another inspecto/adjustor to take another look at my vehicle. On July28, 2011 another inspector/adjustor looked over my vehicle and wrote in his report what Mark the first inspector/adjustor wrote. Frank then called Larry at Royal to discuss my vehicle but Larry told Frank that Royal was not going to cover the work that needs to be done. I then checked my Vehicle Service Contract Declarations and saw that this work IS covered under my warranty. I then called to get a FULL refund because Royal is not performing the work that was promised under the warranty contract that I paid $2310.00 for. I was informed that I only be able to get a partial refund NOT a full refund.

Royal Administration Services Worst customer service ever

Car mechanic made claim aproximately at 9:00 am on 10/28 waiting for fax or phone call approval. Received call back at 5:15 pm stating not to touch car until inspector comes by the following day. Inspector comes by around 12:00 noon 10/29 and states not to still touch car until the company calls. I spend the whole day calling Royal Administration Services and requesting to speak with a supervisor and all I got was the round around with different excuses and the claim not being approved yet. In conclusion a repair of brake booster and door switches which could probably be solved in less than 4 hours has become over two day dilemma. Beware this company don't like to pay what they are responsible for.

Royal Administration Services - Extended warranty

I purchased an extended warranty for my vehicle from my auto sales company and now my car needs a new engine and they refuse to pay. I'ts been more than a month that they are giving myself and my auto repair shop a hard time. It will cost about $5000, and they are claiming the vehicle received extensive damaged and implied to the repair shop that we didnt give it the proper maintenance.

Royal Administration Services Telemarketing Harassment

I am constantly getting telemarketing calls from [protected] (home telephone and cell telephone). The message is "This is the second notice that your automobile's warranty is about to expire". I have called back the telephone number numerous times and I constantly get a "I am sorry, but your call cannot be completed at this time" message. I looked on the INternet to see what I could find out about this telephone number ab ffound the following Internet link: http://www.whocalled.us/lookup/2519478966. Obviously whoever this company is they are cause a lot of people a headache. Telemarketers and their auto-dialers are causing folks a lot of frustration. It worse, not that the economy has slowed down. They need to be regulated, and the telepone service providers need to take some responsibility for this.
