Rothman Furniture claim your reward program and rebate

I SENT A COMPLAINT TO THE MISSOURI ATTORNEY General and have not received a response from Rothman Furniture.My story is the same as all the others concerning this matter .So in regards to this I have nothing more to add. I received the same service on this rebate as all the others which is none. I to was offered a small part of what I am due if I surrender my cards and pledge not to enter into any legal action that might latter happen. I will not surrender this easy. I entered in good faith withRothman payed them with my credit card and then they didn't fulfil their part of the deal. They tried to tell me that I entered into the agreement with Claim you groceries or gas but not with them. That isn't true I agreed to the offer with Rothman they choose to use My Free Travel to carry out their obligations . Since My Free Travel didn't do what they were contracted to do Rothman wants to hide behind this so as not to have to fulfil their obligation. What needs to be done is a class action law suit be taken against them. I would be willing to be a part of this.

My daughter and I each bought furniture expecting the gas and grocery rebates. We too recieved nothing. As far as we are concerned, Rothman can come get their furniture for a complete refund. I still have the original ad from Rothman furniture and copies of all receipts. We faithfully sent in receipts with proof of mailings. I intend to pursue this issue in Illinois as soon as possible. Please let me know what actions you have already taken. Perhaps a class action suit is in order. Thank you.

Rothman Furniture furniture rebates

Rothman Furniture offered a $500.00 rebate of gas or grocery cards if a specific dollar was spent at their store. If you spent over $1, 000.00 you were eligible for both rebates. After sending in the paperwork for both rebate programs the company closed. Rothman's then offered a new program with a new company. However, the rebate was now $600.00 for groceries and $600.00 for gas rebates after you paid $9.95 for each program to enroll. That company has also now gone out of business and Rothman's is offering next to nothing to get you to sign a release. This seems very unfair since many people have been saving receipts and sending then in for over or close to a year.

I AGREE ENTIRELY. LET'S GET A CLASS ACTION SUIT GOING. WE GOT HIT IN ILLINOIS WITH THE SAME SCAM. THANKS.

Rothman Furniture Gas and grocery rebate

We were enticed by the grocery and gas rebate promotion Rothman advertised for spending a certain amount on furniture. We were told that no negotiation of lower prices on furniture would be allowed by management during this special program because of the value being given to us by the rebate program. After we purchased furniture in may they changed the company to a new one because of complaints by consumers not receiving their rebate cards. Rothman's paid the 20.00 fee to register our claim and assured us that this company is reputable. Well it ha s been four months of mailing in receipts in accordance to the rules and nothing has been sent to us. We call and wait over an hour to talk to a human and they pull up the account and say it is being processed b. S. We have called Rothman's and get the run around about the program. They baited us in to their store with this program and then switched company's after we purchased the furniture sure smells fraudulent... Next step is to file complaint with mo attorney general's office about this sales scam.

I purchased a couch and love seat from Rothman Furniture in St. Peters Mo. I am very disatisfied with these items. I have no children living at home, and these two articles look terrible. They snag everytime you sit of them. These items are not even a year old, and they look just terrible. I dont even want company to see the couch or love seat, because they look so bad. I certainely dont want them to sit on them, because I know it will just damage these items more. The item # is E7515V32JC07561, style #E7515 V3, this is the Glenhaven Sofa. I also purched the Love Seat to match. I also purchased a coffee table and end table at the same time. I saved up a long time to purchase these items, and I must be honest, this is the first time I had ever purchased a new sofa and love seat. I am on disability, and can not afford to go out and buy a new set. I am very frustrated with these items.

UPDATE: Newest phone number for Steve Horwitz is [protected]. EXT 301 IS HIS DIRECT EXTENSION. He now runs Vacation Consultants International and is registerd in IL as a sexual offender with a minor.

Pittsfield Furniture in MA did the same thing to me. No lUck with BBB. Files a complaint with the MA Attorney Generals office. The furniture store only offered 50$ per $500 certifictate. I just filed a small claims suit against the store. We'll see how that goes.

I bought a Kirby vacuum for a lot of money and they gave me the $500 gas rebate as an incentive and I treated it like a discount of $500.00. I bought all my gas at Chevron, sent in my receipts and nothing has been returned. Calls in December to myfreetravel indicated trouble with the company and they said they were going to send out an e-mail outlining other options. Never received it. Now I call the number on the BBB site and it says, all claims of myfreetravel is being handled by Travel Consultants International; they provided a number which gave me voice prompts and a bogus e-mail and website. I can't find anything except LinkedIn about this supposed new company. What a scam. I feel bad for the retailers and marketers who are out a whole lot more than me.

I found out where there company operates from, 1641 Manor Oaks Drive in Plainfield IL. This is a residence which assumingly is owned owned by Steven Horwitz. He is also listed as a Sex Offender in Illinois at this residence.

Note: a class action has been filed in St. Louis County Court. The case is called Jones v. Rothman Furniture Stores, Inc. The case was filed by a law firm in Clayton, Butsch Simeri Fields.

Rothman is intentionally delaying the Class Action suit that has been filed so that it can send letters to consumers and "settle" for half the amount they really owe. Rothman has already sent out countless letters to consumers that were lied to, in hopes of avoiding court and not having to admit their mistake. Do not let Rothman off the hook this easy.
