The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Purchased a Roots leather Milano bag which was $400.00 and approximately 3 months later the stitching started coming apart. Roots will not replace the bag and even worst it'll take 4 to 5 weeks to have it repaired. The customer service manager won't acknowledge that the stitching is defective as she only reads from her policy manuel and keeps repeating her answer that the stitching just came undone and this can be repaired at this repair centre in Toronto. Very poor customer service and Roots won't stand behind there products. I have 3 Roots bags and I won't be buying a 4th. I'm a very unhappy customer and won't be shopping at Roots again.

I once had two bags where the latches came loose as an overseas customer in the summer of 2014. I spoke to the customer service. They take a very hardline with customers - I was a visitor leaving Toronto but the manager did not care only follow her stringent rules. They just lose customers with their attitude to defective products. -their handbags are very very overpriced for the rough finishing techniques used!
