Roger Sachs / To many commercials on TV

1 116 PlazoletaCA, United States Review updated:

Much to many commercials on TV. The Discovery channel and A&E are terrible. Results in changing channels. Are they stupid or think we are stupid. That is why most people are switching to cable movies and non cable methods-- Tivo.
Is there a government site that we can complain to.?
Thank You,
Roger Sachs

I agree too many Commercials on T V & They are so much Louder than the show Iam watching that I have to mute them, Change the Channel Or Leave the room. They should just allow People to Watch whatever is on All the way through then show the Commercials So that I can do other things while they are on.Most of the Commercials they Show are things I would Never Buy Anyway, Like Total Gym, Auto Insurance & Viagra!

I totaly agree with that. And what I don't understand is why the ads are as long as the show it self. I watch alot of the history and discovery channels but am getting tired of changing the channel to avoid seeing or hearing the auto ads, VERY ANNOYING to the point where my finger is always on the channel button just wating. History channel says for example watch a full hour of axmen. But in all reality there's lucky to be a half hour of the show itself, and the rest ads.
I am concidering canceling my cable company and just watching tv via my Nintendo Wii with Netflix. It's great I watch tv shows, movies and even the weather threw it.

I am so darn tired of all the commercials! We pay for cable tv. I was better off streaming at least there was fewer commercials. I thought that when cable came out the idea was pay for tv and NO commercials!
