Robert Mallon Norwich Terrier

Approximiatly 2 1/2 years ago my sister Wendy Pandy bought a male Norwich Terrier from Robert Mallon. When she got the puppy home she was thrilled and fell in love quickly. A few days after the purchase the puppy was playing with her cat and she noticed a hernia. She took the puppy to the vet who deemed the puppy "unfit for sale". She tried to contact Robert and had a hard time getting him to return the call. When he finally got back to her he made it very hard for her to get a good date to return the puppy. She asked to meet part way, it was a 3 hour drive each way, and he refused. He told her if she put anything on line about him he would sue her. After words on both sides she gave up. She was toward the end of fight a 5yr long battle with breast cancer and the stress was not good for her. I decided to try to help and Robert Mallon would not return my calls so I decided to contact the sires owner. She was very nice and said she would try to help. A few days later she sent me an e-mail stating Robert told her to stay out of it. I posted a bad breeder complaint on line and now he is bashing a dead woman, shame on you Robert Mallon, she is a better person then you can ever be. Before she passed away we sat down and decided I would take her 7 dogs, breed them and the money was to go to her 18 year old son for collage. I sent 4 of the dogs to homes and kept 3. I decided to try to use his pup for breeding and if he passed on the genetic defect I would fix the problem and send them all to homes. As of now we have had 2 litters, 6 pups and no hernias, thank goodness. I am Holly Stellitano and I am a liscenced breeder. I know you need to take care of problems, puppies are a part of your family. New York Law states that a buyer has 14 days to go to the vet to get a good bill of health and 1 year for genetic issues. Robert Mallon is a back yard breeder and got away with selling a defective puppy. It is not the fact that there was a problem, they are living things and problems happen, it is the way he chose handle it. He posted that I got $4000 for the pups that is wrong, I got $2000 to $2500 each, I wish I got $4000 for them. his facts on this site are wrong. I also post ads on line how else do you sell pups without advertising? I take care of my own dogs and pups, when you plan to have puppies you dedicate your life to them not ask the neighbor to take care of them, even if they are a nurse. I am so upset that you have the nerve to bash a person that can not defend themselves because they are dead. Shame on you Robert shame on you. People fall in love with puppies as soon as they get them home if not before and if there is a problem you need to rectify it and make the buyer happy even if you think the cat did it.

My sister purchased a male Norwich Terrier from Robert Mallonn with full AKC reg. Robert knew he was going to be used for breeding. When she got home she let the puppy play with a cat and they had a good time. She took Milo to a vet within a week and found a small hernia. The vet filled out a "not fit for sale" certificate and Wendy called Robert about...
