I contacted Sprint in regards to a past due bill amount of $776 with them and I couldn't pay it right at that moment. So I was transferred to this "other dept" that would allow me to break the payments into three. I made the arrangements with that "dept" and thought that was the end of it. When the third payment was taken out of my account all under Sprint in my bank account I waited three days and the service was still not restored. So I called Sprint to see if there was an issue and I was informed that my last payment wasn't posted. I assured the Sprint CSR that the last payment was automatically deducted from my account on the agreed upon date. Then she told me that I needed to speak to "another dept" to clear it up. When I was transferred and the other CSR picked up the phone she wanted my account number so I gave her my phone Sprint number. Then she informed me that the number wouldn't work and wanted to know how my account was pulled up originally. I told her that it was two months ago and I have no idea how they would have pulled up the account. All the time I am starting to feel uneasy because am I not talking to Sprint? I did ask the CSR at that time and she informed me that they were a collection agency and the person that I had been dealing with was not in to make the posting. I informed her that I spoke to someone only once when I made the payments arrangements and I thought I was speaking to a Sprint representative. She told me that Sprint adjusted my account by $9 and a few cents and that was preventing my phone from being turned on. I had to pay the $9 first before service could be restored. I called Sprint back to make the payment and was informed that I still owed $299 and service would not be restored until that amount was paid. I told Sprint that I made the last payment and the amount was already removed from my account and they said that RMS hadn't posted it as yet. I called RMS back and got the rudest CSR I have ever dealt with. Not only was she not inclined to help but she was mocking me and wanted to know how I could make payment arrangements with someone when I didn't even know who they were. I told her Sprint transferred me to them and I stupidly assumed that they were Sprint. When I asked why my last payment wasn't yet applied I was told because it takes three days for them to post it to their system. When I asked why does it take three days she told me "because that's how long it takes and she had other clients to get to". I promptly hung up and waited a few minutes to call back, hoping to get a supervisor that could shed some light on when the amount would be posted, so I could have an idea when the service would be restored. The next CSR (Christine) was even ruder than the first and informed me that I had just called in and she wasn't transferring me to a supervisor before she knew what I wanted. When I explained to her that I didn't even know until now that they weren't Sprint and I was try to find out what the client confirmation number was so that I could provide it to sprint she informed me that "she wasn't going to go through the trouble of looking it up and it wouldn't do any good anyway. Plus if I had the service off for so long a few more days shouldn't matter and she had other customers to get to..." I just want to warn others what dealing with both Sprint and RMS is like. This is a nightmare and all they are doing is making a bad situation worse. All I set off to do was pay off my debt and restore my service.

I am being attacked by these people too. The person keeps changing and now they are calling from blocked numbers. I don't even know if I owe this debt. I negotiated a settlement and paid in within 30 days per the agreement. That person did not close the account and then months later they came after me again. When I asked a supervisor for documentation, I was told she could not send me any. They keep saying they sent it to me via email, but I have emails from 2 years ago, they are lying. I'm tired of being harassed. I have been threatened with jail, no garnishment. I would like to sue them for all of the anxiety!

I owed some debt to a college. I did not have the full funds available to pay so after not making a full payment for month I recieved a letter from these guys. I followed the instructions exactly, made an account online, and set up a payment plan for the next few months. After a few weeks I began to receive calls from them but am unable to answer because they call while I'm at work. I owed about 1500 and in a month I payed off 500 of it but they continued to call me leaving me a voicemail at times stating I néed to call back. When I finally had the time to call I dialed the number and after 2 rings it automatically hung up...I disled again and still the same thing. I looked thru my mail and found a number to call, same exact number, so same situation. I tried to login to their webpage to check my current payment status and it wouldn't allow me to login...I had written down the username and password so I knew it was correct...very shady...who did I give 500$ to?

These people just called me. When i told them that i was recording the conversation she became irate. I told her that in the state of Tennesse, (i know this from working in the leagal field for many years), that as long as one person in the conversation was aware that the conversation was being recorded, that i didn't have to ask her permission to record her. She began telling me that i was going to be arrested for a bill that I wasn't even aware of and know that it wasn't mine. I told her that for a professional she was acting like a 12 year old. she then began to tell me that she would send my "arrest warrant" to my home sheriff's dept and that i would be arrested by days end. so i told her that i was so happy that she said that because the conversation was recorded and she then terminated that call. these people are NUTS. i am sending a cease and decist letter as of today. Legally they HAVE to quit contacting you. I also have the phone conversation saved in my personal files.

I owe these people nothing. They are dialing the wrong number and are looking for someone else. It is beginning to get annoying and expensive on my cell phone. They use many different numbers and call at all times every single day of the week. I am not the deadbeat they are looking for. How in the world do I report these Omega RMS and their ### TACTICS?

They also deal with Waste Management Garbage Disposal. I paid the the bill to WM but there financial department is so disorganized they cashed the cheque but then they cannot locate where they charged the funds. We are talking about $170.00.
I showed the cheque being deducted from my account. I gave RM the cheque no and amount. Do you think they believed me (NO). Then they wanted me to send a copy of the cheque and Bank Statement. I think they should hire me but I told them no bloody way am I sending you any more info.
WM then turned the $170.00 over to RMS and I started getting call after call most of the time they would hang up.
Too boot calling my cel and long distance charged accruing. I blocked one number so they switch to another. Sleazy bunch of ###!

I never use my mother as a reference's she in her late sixties and lives on a fixed income. she will never get that money back. They really don't care ~ they call you Monday to Sunday all hours ! I've sent them letters and spoke with them that the Company (Verizon) reveresed the charges. Unfornately, both companies are not responding with each other at this moment and each other will not contact each other.
The RMS are unprofessional is so many way and has not learned the meaning of HARRASSMENT! I've even asked them kindly to stop contacting me and that didn't go over well & they still call more than 3x a day and right after the other. I've had to even block their #'s !

Debt collector named RMS. These are vulture collectors attempting to sucker people into paying out-of-date bills. They NEVER pay the original creditor. Their Better Business Bureau (BBB) record reflects poor business practices. Any payment to them is a waste of money-payments are NOT reflected on your credit record. Better approach is to demand they document the debt. Since they will not be able to do this, you will then be able to challenge any negative listing with the credit reporting bureaus who are required to delete unsubstantiated line items.

This collection is by far the worst, Ive dealt with. I called back not knowing what it was for & its due to Verizons error! I thought it was for Verizon 30 day guarantee if you dont like the service you can return and no obligation cause I guess Im in collections with not recieving any bills or letters from verizon or RMA. Ive even requested this from RMA & now going to write Verizon a letter. Well per conversation yesterday the lady told me theyve sent it and mail has not come back and to pay my bill. She was so rude! SHe also told me the service was for a laptop/ipad - funny I dont have one! She hung up on me and then when I called back she picked up the phone & hung it up. I called again and she never answered. NICE COLLECTION COMPANY & NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE ----- NOT! How dare them call me and treat someone like that !

I agree. I've never been treated worse over the phone. I informed them that the amount that I "owe" is incorrect and that I have proof of all of my payments from 2009. I calculated that I owe $68 and told them that I would pay it as soon as my paycheck came. The woman on the phone told me that the lowest she could bring my bill of $2, 400 to was $500. I told her that that was rediculous but she persisted. I finally agreed to pay the $500 if they would just leave me and my credit rating alone. She asked when I could pay it. I told her that I could make my first payment on it when my paycheck came. She then became irrate and told me that she would accept no less than $500 and that if I had wanted to make payments on it I should have arranged to do so when I recieved my letter 2 mos prior. I told her that I was a single mother and had no way of paying more that $100 per paycheck. She scoffed at me and told me that she had also been a single mother at one time and that she knew how much money I made and that I could easily afford it and had no other option. I told her that if she truly knew how much money I made she'd realize that I could do no more than $100 a paycheck. She started her rampage once more about my irresponsibility and how I should have taken care of things when I had the chance and I hung up completely enraged and disgusted! Again, as I said before, I have never been treated so poorly over the phone. I later talked to my sister who happens to be attending law school and she told me that I should cease all communication with them and that the woman had been trying to trick me because she could not negotiate a new "amount owed" without the consent of her client. According to a letter I got recently I'll be taken to court for the $2400 and will also be held accountable for legal fees. I absolutely hate those people. Its insane to me that this sort of harrassment could possibly be legal!

I agree with you all. I also got a phone call from these people at RMS. It seems as though all of the people working for them are "ghetto" if you get my point. They dont even speak proper English. Id have to say its more of a "slang" they are very lazy when it comes to looking up the so called information they have on you. With me it was sprint but, my bill is only $130.00 and when I called Sprint they told me my account would be "Just fine until April 2010"...well then why does this company have my info and why are they texting me when I dont even have texting on my phone...its charging me every time they text and when I call and ask them not to their comment on the phone is "too bad get over it and hang up the phone if you know whats good for you". These kind of empty threats are irritating to say the least not to mention the $130.00 they claim I owe them was paid online at Sprint more than two weeks ago. As far as Sprint in concerned I have "no bill" and they sent the information to this company on "accident"...so then why are they still calling and texting and harassing? As soon as they find out what my husband does for a living they tend to stop threatening over the phone. However, threats by any collection agency are a federal crime so I turned them in to their higher ups who spent 2 hours apologizing to me just before I also contacted the Better Business Bureau. You dont have to put up with these people and as soon as the words "do not ever call my house again' come out of your mouth they are supposed to cease all contact that way. Two women who work there at the [protected] number wont even give you the real names of the people who call you. Celia Anthony and Camay Clark have very bad attitude problems. They are supposed to answer your questions when you call them and instead all they do is bait you into horrid anger even when they know there is an error. When they do finally lose their jobs due to not following the FEDERAL Laws they are supposed to adhere to they will wonder why they cant pay their own bills...while my credit score will still be 730.

I agree, I have been dealing with RMS for 6 months on a $61 COD package charge that I supposedly did not pay - but if it was COD, how did I get the package without paying? But in the interest of preserving my near perfect credit score, I re-paid the $61 hoping that would make it go away. 6 months later they are still reporting it as unpaid on my credit report. ARRRRG!

As a business professional I would not utilize the services of this company. Their phone dialer has been calling my cell number for the past two days and just rings my phone and hangs up. I have no idea why this company is calling me. On most of the calls I am not even able to answer to determine why they are calling or to even indicate that they are calling a wrong number, because they hang up so quick. I have no debts and have no idea why they continue to call. I was able to get to the phone once on the first ring and heard a recording that said " we have an important phone call for you, please hold" I was placed on hold and a message came back and stated " thank you for calling, all represetatives are busy helping other clients, please continue to hol d".. and then the line was disconnected. I attempted to call the number back a few time to see what they want and whom they may be loooking for and received some strange message and was disconected. If this is truely a collection agency, this is not a business I would want to use to do my collecting, for the obvious reasons. What a shoddy way to do business and what a back image to give to the business community.
