Contacted Rival about a hairline fracture in the middle of the base of our crock. Upon contacting customer service, we were informed that the 'date code' of our crock did not place our crock pot in the warranty period. How long did it sit on the shelf before we bought it? They appreciate our business but have not resolved our issue...they won't be appreciating any future business from us unless they can resolve this issue!
