I just realized that RIO Resources has taken a total of 390$ out of my account. That is just from a 100$ loan that I had requested months ago. Not only did I pay them back, but it was for the full amount plus the fees the very next week. Now it is time to not only contact my bank, but I am sure that there are places that one can go to to report them.

I am in a collection agency called account receivable management of florida. The number i have to rio resources aka mte financial is 1-866-246-0157. I hope you get in touch. I am dealing with the amount they sent to this agency. I believe if more complaints come about these companies can be shut down.

Good luck

I took out a pay day loan with an online agency, part of MTE Financial. I paid back the loan plus the interest. The other day I saw an unauthorized amount of $140 taken from my checking account, so I went to my bank and blocked any more $ from being withdrawn. I just got an email from some Recovery Services dept (part of MTE Financial) stating I need to contact them for payment or they will report me. This is freud! I never authorized any other transactions other than 4 Payments of $90 to pay what was owed. There seems to be a lot of others people being debited the same amount and complaining. What do we do now?!

I took out a loan for $300 and was told that $90 would be taken the first pay period, then the loan would automatically be paid on the following pay period (a deduction of $390). I was never sent any document to e-mail them that I authorize any of these deductions. I've had 4 deductions for $90, 1 for $140 and now I believe I had a deduction for $125 this week. The numbers are now getting so random and I'm very nervous about what to do, cannot find contact information and have read A LOT of bad press about them. Yikes! This is scary!

I have taken out several loans through CashAdvance "MTE Financial Services." I am on a fixed income and have had no problems, they took out ONLY what they were authorized to. Although the signht that I pulled my loans through isn't there no more I personally have had nothing but good experience with MTE.

I have used them on two different occasions and have not had any trouble. As to Allisons comment, after a certain number of renewals, they start taking out a pay down of $50, plus the $90 interest. Sometimes the interest amount is reduced as well.
All I can say is pay it off as soon as possible and avoid using them. It may help in the very short term, but it will cost you so much more in the long run.

They are a total rip off, I took out a 200 loan, and they have debited a total of 795 dollars. Even with interest and refinace charges, that is still too much money. I am closing my account today and I will be reporting them to the BBB. They don't even have a legitimate contact number. They change their company name every other month.

I have just filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's office about their questionable loan practices. I suggest all the people who feel as negatively as I do about them should write up statements and share them with the others. You have more strength when you can show you are not the only one.
In my case, I am dealing with a situation similar to that of Allison (see above). The only possible difference, I have nothing showing I approved the loan. I spoke with someone today only because I stopped payment on $625.00 in payments. Now they claim I owe them over $850 because I did so.

For those of you who have not had any problems, God bless but for the majority who have, they need to be stopped. There are predatory lending law for Banks and Mortgages ther should be one for payday loan services.

Anyone who want a copy of the statement, just let me know.

Oh the number they called me from is 1-800-992-9482.

A couple years ago I got a $200 loan from pay day loans & they said the put the $ into my acct but, they never did. Then, they started deducting the $35 payment/fee from my acct. I closed the acct & washed my hands w/ them. They suck.
