Rio Bravo Reversal review: Tubal reversal done wrong 91

I came in April of 2022 with my spouse. I didn’t have any complications or problems. I’m white & speak English my spouse is Mexican & speaks both so that definitely was a plus. Because some of the nurses only spoke Spanish. So when we had questions or when the nurse came in he was able to let me know what they were saying or doing. I haven’t got pregnant yet. I actually just went in to have a HSG test (march) & the dr told me that everything looks great & whoever did the tubal reversal did a good job! Next week will be a year since I had the procedure done. I am 41 now & it definitely would be a blessing to be pregnant & have a baby again! I definitely recommend this place. They will take good care of you while you’re there. I’m so thankful that I chose this location & to know everything went so well & now just praying that it happens!

I went to Rio Bravo for my tubal reversal in August 2020 . I had essure . The doctors were excellent. The nurses did a very good job taking care of me. I went to Rio Bravo alone and they made sure I was safe. The doctors and nurses listened to all of my concerns. The hospital was clean. My epidural was done perfectly. I highly recommend Rio Bravo. They treated me like family and I will always be grateful to them for their kindness. I have no complaints .

Has anyone had this surgery recently? and used the shuttle service you can purchase from McAllen Tx? Im very interested in getting this surgery done before the end of the year but would like to know a few things before hand.

I had my reversal in Dec2012. I did not conceive so I did 2 HSG they both showed blocked tubes. Then I had a tubal reversal repair surgery Jan2017. My doctor showed me photos at my post OPP of my tubes before and after. The pictures showed that the stitching was all messed up and they used the wrong stitches. Rio Bravo Tubal Reversal is just a thief and a liar and they should be made to give us our money back for malpractice.

I have been looking into this for years and this doctor seems to have prices that make it affordable. I would be nervous going by myself for this procedure. Does anyone know what test to do before hand and what questions to ask? I have a TL almost 16 years ago and my HCG levels are still good from last blood work I had done. What is the actual success rate? My tubes just had clamps put on, no cutting or burning of my tubes. I AM PLAINING ON GOING TO RIO BRAVO TO HAVE MY SURGERY IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR. I HAVE DONE ALOT OF RESEARCH ON DR. PEREZ AS WELL AS BEING IN FORUMS AND I HAVE HEARD ALOT OF GREAT SUCCESS STORIES. I just had mine done this year... So far morning I'm hoping and praying that we get blessed if we don't well it worth every penny knowing that my husband and I tried and did everything we could. Is it a bad idea to go to rio bravo?

It is amazing to see all the success stories, it gives me hope. I also see a lot of bad experiences, although can't you have miscarriages and have a tubal pregnancy with any dr even in the U.S. ? I recall my mother always going to Mexico for dental work and never having a problem. I also see that they have a payment plan which many dr.'s don't provide unless they check your credit . I believe if it is God's will you will become pregnant regardless of where you go to have the procedure. If many woman are still going to him today and still have success stories than obviously he is doing something right. I plan on having my procedure done this coming year and I'm going to leave it in God's hands. Bless you all who are about to have or have already had the procedure done .

Hi there, I have just scheduled my TR for upcoming month of Feb 2016. Gods will everything is going to be okay. I call the doctor a lot and he does answer his phone and answers all the questions you have. Kathy is something else, SHE IS SO AWESOME! She does answer all you emails quickly. I have looking over this for 4 years now. I was married and wanted to have a child with him, God decided and we divorced. Now, I am married to a GODLY man I am sure this is what we both want. I am planning on taking the trip to Rio Bravo to have a tubal reversal. I have mixed emotions about it but I do have faith that the doctors know what they are doing. Has anyone been there previously? If so, how was your experience?

Hi, i had my tubes tied 5 yrs ago wen i had my 5th child. But i got separated 2 yrs ago and now tht i remarried i would like to get a reversal surgery because id like to give my husband a child of his own. He has a daughtr from a previous marriage but he cant see her because she lives out of the country. Ive mentioned my decision to my husband but hes not really in favor of me getting it because he thinks he wont be able to get me pregnant. I Really want this surgery. But im scared of a few things. The post on 9th of Feb, 2014 by LA Maquina de Logica is 100% correct. She described everything we just experienced. My wife had a TR surgery on 3/9/2015 in Rio Bravo at Hospital de las Americas. We drove there and back from Mississippi, had a wonderful time, an excellent surgical experience, and all of it was thousands cheaper then here in the southern US. All together everything (passport cards, gas and food traveling there and back, one night hotel stay before, the shuttle from hotel to hospital before and after surgery, the surgery, and other expenses we had) cost us exactly $3, 760. Here in Mississippi it would of been atleast $6, 000. That's a lot for anyone to pay. To heck with insurance screwing everyone haha. I literally sold my truck to afford the surgery. And I work offshore! So I know your struggle. But believe me... It IS safe. The doctors ARE amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend the doctors at Hospital de las Americas in Rio Bravo, Mexico to everyone wanting a tubal reversal. I am wanting to get a tubal reversal. I have done a lot of research. but my question is has anyone had the tubal reversal and you're overweight? does that affect the cost for the procedure?

I went to Rio Bravo in February 2012 and got pregnant exactly one year later and my precious miracle baby will be one on Sunday. These doctors gave me the chance to become pregnant again. When I had my surgery I went in with an open mind that it may or may not work. It's a chance, not a guarantee. I was treated with the utmost respect while I was there, I dont have a single bad thing to say about my experience. I'm from Missouri and THAT was a long way from home but it all worked out fine. As far as everyone talking about the cartels, well it's not like ur gonna be out mingling with them. You're having surgery and coming right back home in a couple days. Dr Perez is amazingat what he does and i will be forever grateful to that man for restoring my fertility and giving me the chance to feel a baby in my womb again.

I pray to God to help me in my tubal reversal but if its God will and if its meant to be I will be having kids. I have 1 girl and she is 20rs and I tide my tubes when I was 22 yrs now Im 38 .

NOT EVERYONE HAS A SUCCESS STORY..I JUST CAME HOME FROM HAVING MY TUBAL REVERSAL DONE AND I AM VERY HAPPY. THE STAFF AND DOCTOR WERE SO NICE AND THE DOCTOR TOOK MY FRIEND AND I TO EAT SOME VERY GOOD TACOS. LANGUAGE WAS NO PROBLEM SINCE I SPEAK SPANISH THEY MADE ME FEEL VERY CALM AND SURE OF EVERYTHING. I AM A LITTLE SORE BUT OTHER WISE IN GOOD SHAPE. DOC. TOLD ME I HAVE 5-6 CM ON EACH SIDE AND HAVE EXCELENT CHANCES OF HAVE MORE CHILDREN. I been a member of Rio Bravo patient forum since 2009, had my TR 2-2011 and our son is now 28 months old. Everyone will have their own opinion and that is fine, but this is why you should do your research BEFORE choosing ANY doctor, here or in another country. They ALL have good or not so good feedback. You should join a forum if they have one and follow it for awhile before making a decision as serious as this one.
