Don't go here and get ripped off!

Riley's Appliance 3619 MESSANIE STREET St. Joseph Missouri [protected]

Sold My Mom a defective used stove he says they have a 30 day warranty.

The stove my Mom bought worked except for the brollier it never did work.

He wants to blame here for it not working and not give any money back or exchange it.

He says the part it needs to fix it is not available. So he should do something about it he won't do anything at all about it.

Turned in a complaint to the better bussness burreua but I guess they don't get involved much in these things.

He sold a faulty appliance? This is dangerous and illegal.
If this stove blows up, catches fire, or anything of the sort, he can be held responsible for any damages or deaths incurred by the use of this faulty appliance.

1. Write a letter to the person/company who sold you this appliance.
Tell them it is faulty, and was found this way after installation. Tell them it is dangerous and they can be held responsible for any damages and/or deaths it might cause. Send this letter via USPS certified mail.
Keep your mail receipts and the return signed card with a copy of the letter you send to this guy.

2. Contact your state Attorney Generals office and file a complaint on this business selling you a faulty appliance and ask them how to handle this.

3. Call the BBB and see whats happening with your claim.

Keep your reciepts, log your phone calls, and keep copies of any kind of paperwork you use or receive.

If after 90 days you dont have any resolution, you can file a suit in small claims court.
