Richemont Group / Rip-Off Policy

Be very careful buying anything from Richemont Group. They are vicious predators when you have bought any of their products and you take them back for repair.

My wife's US$15, 000 Cartier Mini-Panthere seems to go back for repair every 13 months (as soon as the previous repair warranty runs out). I have had the same experience with my US$12, 000 Panerai PAM 190; my IWC Mark 12, and god-knows-how-many Cartier fountain pens.

Their senior staff privately admit that their service department is a substantial profit centre (rather than the cost centre it ought to be).

Check out their website and find out the names of the companies they own...THEN BUY SOMETHING ELSE..

    IWC service department is hopeless. I have sent my Portofino to them twice within one year, the problem is still there. They just want to get rid of customers.
