Richard Quiring / Reported to TransUnion we were deceased
I have two loans with Citimortgage (they were sold to Citimortgage). I was looking to refinance on one of the loans and I found out that Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion ALL reported that my wife and I were "deceased".
You can imagine the fun I had in attempting to gain access to an individual in those credit agencies who was alive and willing to talk and help. I was told that Citimortgage reported my wife and I as "deceased".
After taking a tour of the world for an hour, refinance in the United States and Kunal and Sori in India, there was no progress. They stated that Citimortgage didn't make any such report.
I find it interesting that we make $4, 000 a month in payments, actually make excess payments, own shares of C and they won't "own up to the facts" as presented by the credit agencies.
When the refinance lady at Citimortgage found out I wasn't going to refinance with C, she transferred me back to India. Why do we taxpayers support this company? Needless to say, it's tough to get refinancing when "you are deceased"!!!
