This company fired a lady who lost her husband suddenly and a host of other employees because their sales numbers were low yet, they refuse to spend any money on advertising and they want the sales staff to generate the buisness for their 5000.00-6000.00 sofas and 10, 000.00 tables. And that does not include the chairs. They expect new customers to come in because of a weekly email. If you buy from them just remember that the employees don't even receive a salary of minimum wage . Just commission from your purchase !
No warning, no coaching, no nothing . You come to work after your two days off and they call you in the office and tell you they are terminating your employment because of low sales figures and while you are having that conversation someone is packing up your belongings and they escort you out the side exit! How professional. You reap what you sow Richard Honquest ! Your company will fold just like Plunketts and Zierks and Wickes and Homemakers and Porters of Racine and Colby's and all the other companies that crap all over their employees !
I am disappointed that the business has recently let some of the most experienced sales reps go...they don't seem to care very much about the employees and the customers they have cultivated. I will take my business elsewhere. Poor management decisions are not a good sign folks!
This used to be a great company and now most of there furniture is CHINESE crap ! You might as well shop at the ROOMPLACE because the quality is about the same. What a joke. Oh that's right they are located in Barrington so its expensive Chinese Crap.
