RezXtra over charged for free sample and additional monthly charges

rezxtra.com advertised on their website a free sample for 99 cents plus postage. I agree to allow my account to be charged one time for the sample, however, they charged my account $86.87 for the sample and place me on a monthly charge plan. My bank notified me. I tried to contact Rezxtra to cancel; I was placed on hold; they never return to the phone to respond. My bank called Rezxtra and they also were unable to get a response. Thus far Rezxtra has made two unauthorized charges to my account and I'm still attempting to contact them. I've made a complaint to consumers affairs.

RezXtra product & charges are a scam

Product is not a diet supplement --does nothing! Recieved a shipment --was charged $89.00 called to cancel and return for a refund and was told they DO NOT give refunds because (small print) I agreed to purchase. Anyone out there don't be fooled by the "FREE TRIAL" no such thing! The customer Service Department is not helpful at all that is if you can even get through without be disconnected. Don't be fooled if it sounds to good to be true remember IT IS!

I ordered one bottle of Rezxtra, free trial. The first credit card I used, said it could not be charged, so I thought nothing of it. I just grabbed another card and did the transaction. I was charged for 4 bottles! then charged $86 and called to cancel, they would not cancel it.
Then I just noticed that the card that I thought was not used, was also used! Called again, they won't cancel. This is outrageous!

I was given false information and billing of products. I thought I was getting a free sample of rezxtra, but was charged over $350 on my debit card without my knowledge. I am unable to reach company by phone after numerous tries and staying on hold forever. I don't want the recent shipment and want a refund! HELP!

I received the Rezxtra for the 14 free trail but the Lord laid it on my heart to check the internet on this product and this is when I saw this complaints, boy was I floored. So I called my credit card and bank institute and cx my credit card & debit card card so that they could not charge my account. It does cause me alittle inconvenience but its worth it to keep them from charging $86. I learn a great lesson behind this, nothing is FREE! Now am afraid to even try the product plus I dont have the info to send it back.

Help! I did the same thing! Now I'm getting automatic charges out of my bank account and I don't know how to stop them. $89 a month!
I'll take the credit for being stupid enough to fall for this... but can anyone advise me how to stop the automatic charges and withdrawals?

RezXtra deceptive practices

NUMBER FOUR

Health Aid, RezXtra from Canadian-Based MedsXtra, a Bitter Pill

St. Louis BBB, Aug. 27, 2009 - A Canadian health supplement business that uses a St. Louis County company to distribute its “fountain of youth” pills across the U. S. is under fire from angry customers who say they are being charged for products they don’t want. The BBB urges that customers be cautious when dealing with RezXtra, the Toronto-based MedsXtra which offers the pill, and a related British company called Net Natural Ltd.

The RezXtra Web site describes the product as “America’s No. 1 Anti-Aging Pill!” and promises to help “shed pounds of unwanted weight, ” “improves your stamina” and “can save you from a host of debilitating old age diseases.” Customers interviewed by the BBB said they noticed no health benefits from the pills. The company says the pills contain Resveratrol, an anti-oxidant found in red wine.

The BBB said customers have cited numerous problems with a “free trial offer” for RezXtra, including misleading marketing, inflated advertising claims about the health benefits of the pills and an inability to cancel orders. Some said they continue to be charged for bottles of the pills, despite canceling their orders. One consumer said she tried to phone a company representative to cancel an order, but instead spent four hours on hold listening to recorded music. Another said she called 15 times, but was never able to reach anyone.

THE CATCH: Unless an order is canceled within 14 days, the customer is billed for the full value of the bottle (about $86) and enrolled in a monthly program with a similar monthly charge automatically charged to the customer’s credit account.

While some complainants said they failed to carefully read the terms of the free offer, others say they read everything carefully. The problem, they said, was difficulty canceling their orders within the prescribed time frame.

The BBB offers the following advice for consumers considering buying products online:

• Be cautious of free offers. Companies cannot stay in business by giving away products at no cost. Usually, free offers are followed by an open-ended enrollment in a program that will automatically bill your account. Make sure you read all offers completely and carefully and, if you have any concerns, do not do business with the company.

• Pay with a credit card whenever possible. If there is a significant problem with your order, you can often challenge the charge.

• Check products with the U. S. Food and Drug Administration.

• Research any company carefully before doing business with it. Check out reliability reports with the BBB by going online at www.bbb.org

RezXtra fraud charges

I ordered a free trial bottle of the rezxtra. got it late. Took it only a few days and discovered that I have a severe reaction to it. checked my bank to discover they were taking 90 dollars out of my account for the 'free' bottle. Called to let them know of the severe reaction but they refuse to give me back any but half of the money. I did not authorize the 90 dollars. I am now having to see an infection control doctor with no results to stop the burning of my internal organs. They had no concern whatsoever that I am suffering from this. I am furious, and want everyone to know what a scam is being run here. Do not say free when it is not and do not put in very small print where it can barely be seen that they will take more money from the account. Free means free and when you knowyou have to suffer with a disease that may not be able to be cured, this is ridiculous! I am due more than half my money!

I have been waiting for more than an hour to speak to customer service...when I moved up to #5 they disconnected me. I will not pay for this item. My next step is to contact my credit card company and file a fraud complaint.

RezXtra Unwanted order

Somehow when ordering a Viseo Professor product, This product must have been attached. On 7/29 I received a bottle of Rezxtra pills, which I never ordered, and when I called I got a recording saying I had to return them in 14 days or they would charge my card 79 dollars. And that I needed an RMA to do so I have been calling the number for the past 4 days to get the RMA so I can return You never get a person and I have left nine messages with no response. Sometimes you just get the box is full I hate these scams. Can anyone help me with this Watch out..out there on the web.

I orderd a free trial of rezXtra and was asked to only pay shipping and handling for about $4.95. if i did not want anymore shipments i was to call the number provided and cancel. I was shocked that everytime i called to cancel this product, I kept getting a answering service telling me that the office was closed and to try my call at a differn't time or if I wish to cancel any future diliveries of this product to enter the last six digets of the credit card used. When I do this, the machine tells me they cannot locate that credit card number and hangs up! But yet they have continued to send the bottles but never giving me a statement of how much they have taken out or that they even taken anything out at all! so i continue to call because for i am not happy with the first bottle they sent. yet over and over again i try and to no such luck do i get a responce. So i call my bank to inquire if any money has been taken from this company and they inform me that three charges of $89.99 have been taken from them and that I need to call them in order for them to stop billing me.

RezXtra offered a FREE 14 day sample of their 100%Genuine guaranteed diet pills. This is a scam. They mailed me a 30 day supply rather than a 14 day sample and if you don't mail back the remainder of the bottle and call to say you aren't satisfied within 14 days of the date of order, they pull over $80 out of your account. This must be why they required a credit card to charge the $2.95 shipping so they have an account to automatically charge every month. They will also continue to deduct this $80 some dollars out of your account until you call to stop it and the useless pills at $80 per bottle will continue to be mailed to your home. This unauthorized deduction has caused 3 bounced checks from my debit card and an incredible expense of over $200 for pills that do not work. Called to complain about the $80 for the FREE sample and they said it was just their policy and there is nothing I can do about it and that I should have read the small print. Maybe I was duped but hopefully this may discourage someone else from experiencing the same. This is an extremely disappointing company in both the product and they way that handle their customers. Please do not buy this product!

i got a bottle of diet supplement in the mail, COMPLETELY unsolicited. haven't called the number yet but there is no information on the packing slip, just a cell # that is similar to mine but is not mine. no price, no payment info, just an item #. very very weird, i just found out that my credit card got stolen i think that might have something to do with this.
